Hello nail enthusiasts! If you're in search of a clean, reliable, friendly nail salon in the western suburbs of MN, you should really give Elite Nails a shot. You won't be disappointed. The salon is under new ownership (Tommy) so all your negative past comments and complaints can be checked at the door. Tommy has remolded the shop with brand new chairs, decor, fixtures, and equipment. "Whatever is old looking must be new," was his renovation motive. It truly looks wonderful and is hands down the cleanest nail salon I've ever stepped foot in. I was in desperate need of a gel manicure and pedicure. Starting with the pedicure, I got the basic pedicure with callous removal for an extra $5. The pedicure was good with lots of soaking and massaging, not so much nail filing and trimming BUT my toenails and much too short for that anyways. When I get a pedicure I go in to relax and this was definitely a well relaxed experience. My nail technician was Tina, I highly recommend her for a pedicure. The gel manicure by Nikki was also fabulous. She trimmed, shaped, buffed, and exfoliated my nails and hands. The color I choose was vibrant and fun (peach paradise I think it was called). Nikki did one coat of base, three coats of gel polish, and two coats of top coat for strengthening the nail. She knew her stuff! We chatted the entire time and she was the friendliest technician I've ever had! Nikki constantly reminded me that the customer comes first so whatever I wanted she would do for me, and take her time doing it. No rushing! They also do a paraffin wax treatment at the end with a 5 minute hand massage for no extra cost. For those still reading, they offer a punch card system to reward you $10 off your next visit for every 10 manicures you get. Plus for their new soft opening, every service until mid July 2018 is 20% off. The prices are fair for the service you receive- $28 basic pedicure, $27 for gel manicure, $5 for callus on pedicure, etc. Overall my experience at Elite Nails was AWESOME. Although I now live in California and am just visiting home for a few weeks, I will most definitely come back whenever I am back in the 952. They are all very nice and my nails lasted pretty long. But my paint in my acrylic peeled off after 2-3 weeks but I am usually able to keep my names on for a month or a little over a month. So, this was pretty disappointing for me. I also am very picky about what I think "good" nails are designed wise. I got a french tip and I like more of the curve in the tip and they were basically just painted straight across. They also just make up prices. I payed more than what was written up on the boards. I went with my sisters and one of them ended up paying more than I did. I had medium nails with gel french tip, she has short with red gel, she payed 10 more dollars then I did and didn't even get the actual length she wanted. They are all very very very nice but not the best at pricing and designs. read more

The polish came off my nail tips immediately. I don't think he used polish remover after the lotion massage. It's like the polish slipped off the tips. Frustrating. read more

I went there for years I even have a discount card I will not use that's full because I feel like they are talking about me when they point at my nails and laugh and say one long nail as others walk by and laugh with her:( I had a dip done there only one time usually just gel and goes well. It was the worst dip I've ever had. It looked very thick. The lady said she didn't like doing dips I also asked about nail art, and she said she didn't do nail art either. I don't think I'll ever go back there again after my last visit of feeling like they were talking about me. read more

Elite nails is just a great place to go and relax. They take such good care of you. Go with the gel and the pedicure will last forever. I love how my feet are so smooth and and soft when I leave the salon. I find the choices a bit confusing, so I always have to look again. I like a really good pedicure without a lot of other things but special attention to soften and smooth the feet. They do that very well. Love this place! read more

Destiny is an amazing nail technician and I highly recommend her for acrylic designs! I asked for an ombré acrylic and she did a wonderful job, with great attention to detail. She was a great listener and throughout our time made sure to ask each step of the way if I was satisfied. My nails look very natural looking and dainty, with the tiniest little heart designs for Valentine's Day. I absolutely love them and cannot wait to see Destiny again for future designs! read more

Very kind people, but quality is only okay at best. I got dip nails and they are extremely thick and "fake" looking. They don't have many dip colors to choose from. I was offered a massage, and it was basically my nail tech half-heartedly (and for a way shorter time than agreed upon) awkwardly rubbing my head in a chair while my nails "cured". The tech that did my nails messed them up and they had to be redone. I hoped to get in and out over my lunch break. I was there for 2.5 hours and my nails look mediocre at BEST. I was charged full price even though I was there so long and my nails had to be "fixed" before I left. I won't be back. read more

Disappointing! I've gone three times - no more. The employees spend more time with their smart phones and each other than with their customers. The tvs are set so they can see the screens, but they don't bother to ask their customers if they'd like one turned on as well. The massage chair is gross! The facial pad is covered with peeling vinyl, no paper covers - not sanitary! And they work hard at pushing extra services beyond what you've booked. Not professional! read more

Under new ownership; completely renovated; everything new and absolutely AMAZING! I am so delighted with the new owners of Elite Nails in Chan! You are greeted with excitement and courtesy upon your arrival. They are happy to make appointments and warmly welcome walk-ins. You are given a bottle of water to sip as you begin your relaxing treatments. I have been having my nails done for over 25 years. I can honestly say that Nikki is the best nail tech I have ever experienced. She is gentle, but fast. The nails are thin, but sturdy. They are tough and stand up to everyday life, but look completely natural. Her french manicure, pink and white acrylic is beautiful. But the sheer number of paint colors they have (both regular and gel) make it difficult to decide what lovely look my hands will have for the next few weeks. I have also had several pedicures - extremely relaxing and sanitary even for this OCD, germaphobe! They line the foot bath with a disposable, elasticized, fitted bag. I can finally put my feet down without worrying about cleanliness. They have a little "menu" booklet handy that thoroughly explains all of the various pedicure options along with prices. No more lengthy discussions - just select the pedicure you want and "order". Finally, being a lady "of a certain age", I have had their partial and full face wax. They are as gentle and quick as possible. I have several allergies to different oils and lotions, so they work with me on products and processes. They do the waxing at the beginning of the appointment so that any redness has had time to settle before going back into the world. The fully renovated salon has all new pedicure chairs, nail stations, sinks, etc. They have TVs playing general interest shows like HGTV. I went here spur of the moment because my nail place i usually go to was not answering. I have had a bad experience the last time I went but I was willing to try it again. Everyone was so nice at first but when you are sitting there all they want is your money. I wanted to get the basic pedicure but right at the last moment the lady asked me something and I couldn't understand her so I just said yes. I didn't know until I was paying that I paid for a pricier pedicure. Basic was $35 and the one I got was $51. They need to listen to their consumers and not try to get them out of their money. When the lady was cutting my toe nails she also cut me and now my whole foot hurts when I walk because she cut my big toe. After that I got an acrylic full set. The lady that I was with did not look very happy and I kept saying I wanted coffin and she was not happy when I kept asking if that was going to be the final shape. It looked square. Some of the acrylic nails were also not straight at all. I could tell that some of them were more off to the side. Right after I left I cried in the car because it was such a horrible experience and I do not see myself going back to this place again. read more

Elite Nails is where it's at! I have been getting my nails done for 20 years (so I have been to my fair share of salons) and since moving out to Chaska I have tried a bunch and could not find a good nail salon, until I found Tommy's salon! It is clean, the staff is sssoo nice and remembered my name after coming only once before (Vicky has a gift and it is a great manager), they offer you drinks and if you are ever waiting you can get a massage in a massage chair while you wait or need to pass time while your nails dry. I have gotten pedicures, dip and gel and all have been wonderful. I don't understand the post about being unhappy bc gel peeled off within a couple of days bc they always say if you are ever unhappy or something chips or peels you can come back and they will fix it for free or make it right somehow. Great place so warm and inviting if you are near Chaska or in the western burbs I highly recommend you check them out...you will not be disappointed!!! read more

Coming here very surprised to see the 5 star reviews - I have given this location many chances since new ownership because the staff is wonderful, everybody is so friendly!!! But each time I end up disappointed just a few days after my service - gel nail polish that chips or peels off and ingrown hairs from the cold sugar wax they use for eyebrows. Although convenient for me, and I want to see the team doing well - I will not be going back. read more
