Perfect job! My friend and I came for a full acrylic set with gel. The appointment was made an hour ahead of time and they were more than happy to take us. Both of our natural nails are not completely symmetrical but the nail tech did a beautiful job of correcting this with the acrylic. This gem has long been a favorite of mine. I've been a customer here for about 17 years and while they've improved the equipment and decor over time, their prices have stayed low. You know a business does it right when they've managed to keep going that long. The nail technicians are always so friendly and they take their time to provide a high quality service, whether you are getting a simple trim and buff or a full set of acrylics. They've also always been great with kids. I started brining my daughter here with me for mom and daughter dates when she was 3. Their pedicures are lifesaving for winter tired feet. I am new to the area and choosing a nail place is a little daunting. I finally chose to try Perfect Nails due to proximity and Yelp reviews. I am very happy I did! Tu and Annie worked their magic on my gel mani/pedi. It had been a while since I had them done plus moving is very hard on the hands, so my nails were a mess. I walked out of there very happy with the results. I asked for the manicure and pedicure to be done at the same time. For me, it's about the end result. The man who helped me was nice and quiet, but he did the worst nail job I have ever experienced. He cut two of my fingers when trimming my cuticles. None of my fingers look like they belong on the same hand. They're bulbous, too thick, and different lengths and shapes. He completely changed the shape of my natural nails. I have been struggling for years trying to grow out my natural nails after years of acrylics, and he totally ruined all the progress I have made so far. Stay far far FAR away from this place. He cut my thumb and pointer finger on my left hand, and then continued on with the manicure by putting my open wounds INTO THE DIPPING POWDER!!!! S O UNSANITARY! I came here twice because it was right next to my favorite alteration shop. It is tucked inside Har Mar Mall. I came in to get my nails painted on my hands and feet. It came up to $22 which I thought it was kind of expensive but I was in a hurry anyways. I find their mani and pedicure expensive as well. It is $40 :( You could find one for $30 to $35. I enjoyed sitting on their massage chair. I accidently fell asleep while the lady massaged my foot. Yep, they are that comfy. Good thing I didn't drool! This is place is very clean and well kept. They are still in the middle of remodeling and expanding the space. The bathroom is clean as well. You don't need to worry about making appointments because they have enough staff working. I like talking to the ladies. They are nice and friendly. They do take credit cards and you can add tip on the line. I know some places only take cash for tips. Parking is free. Just make sure to park between Cub and KG clothing. read more

The atmosphere is calming. The lighting is just right and it is a clean establishment. I like the pedicures there, but I will not her my nails done there again. The gel polish started peeling off 3 days after they were done. I told the lady that the nail polish was old because it was sticky and would not apply well to my acrylics that she just applied. She said it wasn't and that she would just do one nail at a time, putting under the UV light and then adding another coat. This took longer then expected. When I called about my nails, they told me I could come and get it fixed but I was never able to get back to the salon. Eventually, all the nail polish peeled off and the nails started lifting after 2 weeks! So, I won't go back for my nails but the pedicure I will. read more

As far as COVID procedures go, they have a self check list. You sign a notebook if you answer "no" to all the questions and then you use hand sanitizer before you sit down. I called and asked for a REMOVAL of acrylic nails. The lady on the phone said it was be $15 and would take 30 minutes to 1 hour because SOAKING the nails may take a while. I have gotten acrylics removed two other places before and have always been soaked in Acetone before removing. I sat down and the lady trimmed my acrylics (which is normal). But before I knew it, she was ripping my acrylics off with no soaking at all. She cut underneath my nail three times on two different fingers. She tore my pinky nail down too short as a result of her ripping them off. I am not one to tell someone how to do their job so I was uncomfortable asking her to stop or question her method. She continued to remove all my acrylics this way and was not gentle when filing or buffing my nails as I was finished. This is not my regular gel manicure place, but it's now my gel pedicure place. I'm never happy with regular pedicures. I say this and I'm not kidding. My feet are never smooth enough and the polish never last long enough, so I decided to get a gel pedicure for the first time last summer. I already spend the money on my nails, so why not both? I actually had no idea where the place was the first time I went, but I learned, park between Cub and KG Men's warehouse and enter at the smallest mall entrance of all time for easy in and easy out. I walked in here without an appointment and they got me right in on a random Monday night. Since then I've been back a few times. Most recently on a weekend for a quick gel manicure. I called and the gentleman told me they don't do appointments on the weekend, walk ins only. I arrived 11 minutes after they opened and the place was packed and there were 2 people ahead of me. Never fret a few more employees walked in right after that and got started. I like how there is a pedicure menu so you know exactly what you are paying before you get check out. I also like all the different scents of scrub. My gel manicure is still looking good at a week and half, which is telling cuz I'm hard on my hands and my nails are weird when it comes to brands of polish. $60 for a gel manicure and basic pedicure... In response to someone's earlier review, they no longer have only one UV dryer, in fact, they have several that they move from station to station as needed. I really appreciated this as it meant I didn't have to wait for the other three women who were getting gel manicures to finish before I could start mine. I was seated right away, and thought you really couldn't beat the price. Great polish color selection. My gel manicure is gorgeous, and so far has lasted longer than any I've ever had. She also asked me if I wanted round or square nails, no other salon has ever asked me that before, and usually I tell them I want round and end up with square anyways. I will DEFINITELY be going back for the manicure alone. Also, the massage on my hands, feet, and legs were great. I was VERY relaxed and the pedicure massage chairs were the least aggressive I've ever had. Normally I don't even turn those monsters on. I took away a star because while my pedicure is nice, it isn't fantastic. I felt I could have done a better job removing some of my calluses at home. Had a quick but great "Daisy" pedicure ( $32 I think) and regular manicure this morning. Both took about 75 minutes total and Leelee did a great job on both. The salon is tucked away in HarMar mall near the Cub. It is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I was a walk in and they had about 4-5 more people walk in while I was there and they were quick to accommodate everyone. Everyone seemed very friendly-I would recommend to a friend! Just an FYI, starting July 30 they will only accept cash. read more

My cousin and I dropped in for a gel manicures. I arrived a little after my cousin did. No one greeted me, one of the nail techs asked me if I was ready to pay... the wait wasn't too long, my nail tech never made eye contact until I started small talk with her. She took almost an hour, which is too long and feels even longer when there's no one to talk to. The nail buffer and filer looked old and worn.... I informed her I only wanted her to push back my cuticles with no cutting bc my cuticles are fairly healthy and didn't need much work at all. She continued cutting my cuticles excessively and even though there was no blood, they feel tender, and in my pictures you can see how close she came to breaking the skin as they are red. As for polishing, she didn't make sure to get the edge of my nails to lock in the gel polish. Then bc she didn't clean up the cuticle areas as needed while she was polishing, after I noticed it, I asked her to clean up my cuticle area after it had already cured under the light. I noticed it on my other thumb as well, but bc I didn't ask her to- she didn't care to fix it. She instead insisted my uneven cuticles caused it, not her. My cousin's gel mani took a mere 20 minutes. She requested round shaped nails but her nail tech shaped some rounded while some were squared. Apparently the top coat was dirty and left some residue in one of her nails which of course, the nail tech took no notice of. There were 3 other girls who came in to get pedicures. I noticed there was one tub with a towel sitting on the foot rest signaling either it was dirty or prepped- it was a dirty towel and dirty tub bc there was another woman who had just gotten a pedi right before the 3 girls who came in. Without sanitizing the tub, a nail tech removed the dirty towel, quickly rinsed out the tub and continued to fill it up for one of the girls. I know these places are always risky and are either a hit or miss. I definitely do not recommend this nail salon, waste of $30. read more

This nail salon is in the Har-Mar mall, tucked away behind the rear entrance to a Cub Foods. It's nothing particularly spectacular, looks-wise--your run-of-the-mill mall nail salon--but I gave it four stars because of Catherine, one of its employees. I've gone to Catherine three times now for french tips, and each time she's done an excellent job of giving me exactly what I asked for. My nails look great. Finding a good nail artist can be hit or miss, but Catherine has consistently impressed me. She files the nails down to a point where they look natural, gives me the precise length I ask for, and is a perfectionist about keeping the tips of each nail smooth and even. She also speaks perfect English and is very friendly and conversational without being overwhelming. The downsides to this salon include its out-of-the-way location and its decor--it's a bit dated and not always spotlessly clean--but I love the way my nails look when Catherine does them, and their prices are very affordable. $30 for acrylic nails, and about $50 for a full mani-pedi including acrylic nails. read more

They have all but 1 nail salon pulled out pink powder and charged me for gel nails. This pink powder is not gel!!! My cuticles swelled and itched for days. Truthfully, I'm tired of these salons getting away with this! I'm ready to contact the BBB! From now on, I will only go to Super Nails Spa for their honesty and for using the actual REAL liquid gel on my nails. No more swollen and itchy cuticles. read more

I went here for acrylics a few times and was pleased. They did a great job at keeping the nails thin and listened well to what I wanted (shape, length, etc). I do not remember the techs name, but she was younger and very friendly. I never had any other things done at this nail salon - just the acrylics and about 4 fills before I decided to take them off, but not because they were looking bad - they looked great up to the end! The appearance of the place is bit untidy, almost borderlines on dirty, and you can smell your way to the place in the mall - just follow the acetone! I have had about 5 pedicures and 2 manicures at this salon. The quality of work is very good and I have been pleased with the pedicures and manicures. However, the staff is not friendly! The majority of staff do not smile at you or greet you when you come into the shop. In addition, there is little conversation during the procedure which I understand sometimes customers do not want to talk. However, I enjoy talking with the staff and have found staff reluctant to engage in conversation. I have not been asked to return or "hope to see you again soon" or anything like that when I leave the premises. Not good customer service. Terrible place! I had to go back 3 times within 10 days to get my Gel Nail Polish Fixed! I finally asked for my money because I no longer wanted them to work on my nails as the quality of there products is so poor and they refused to give it to me. I work at a group home for adults with special needs. I brought two of my ladies in for pedicures, both of them in wheelchairs with mobility issues. The staff was so incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating towards us while we were there, went above and beyond what I would have expected them to do, even fanning magazines over my ladies' toes to dry them so I would not have to try transfer them from pedicure chair to wheelchairs to the drying station chair. It was so thoughtful and appreciated. Beyond this, the pedicures were very well done, affordable and the highlight of my ladies' week. Went to several nail techs here and this is not the place to go if you want anything out of the box or artistic. Last tech I went to burned me twice with her dremmel file tool and cut me once. She was careless and my nails were horrid. Why didn't I tell them and have them fix it? Because I've been trying to have them fix and correct my nails since I first went here and was hurried through like I was a cash cow. Though it was busy when we went, we soon realized why, after a short 20 min wait spent walking around the mall we were ready for our appointments and the fantastic technicians did not disappoint. For the pedicures they offer many varieties at extremely reasonable prices. As someone who has indulged many times before on a pedicure I know that sometimes they can be painfully awkward, this was not the case. I called them before I came over . The lady who answer perfect nails phone said I can come over anytime - referring to yesterday 12/30/2019. I also asked them if they did pink and white nails fill - she said yes. I asked her for the price she said $ 30 for a fill . Hence I headed over to them - when I got there I was told I had to make a reservation - so my wait time is 1 hour . They said I should go and shop around Harmon mall - how daring . After 40 mins I went back. They said wait another 20 mins. Which I did. When the lady took me to do my nails , half way after cutting and filling my nails - the lady said you know this service is $50 . I said I was told it's $30 . She said the person made a mistake . I don't frequent nail salons often so I'm not always sure what to do. My friend and I visited Perfect Nails yesterday and were never greeted. We stood there for a couple min and saw a clipboard. Figured, guess we'll fill it out and sit down. 10 min later, a girl came over with the clipboard and told us 15 min til our pedi. That's fine. Pretty sure it was more than 15 min, still not my issue. They threw us in our chairs, which have seen better days. Left us there for another 10 min before anyone came to say hi. They proceeded to do our pedicures and put us under the lamps to dry. We were asked to pay but we said on the clipboard that we wanted brow waxes. They seemed annoyed by it but did it anyway. The girl didn't even wax my brows how I asked. Instead she critiqued about how they should be a certain way, then proceeded to paint in my brows. I have black eyebrows. Makeup for them is NOT necessary. Meanwhile, they had me leave my belongings at the nail dryer and I get back only to see someone else sitting in my chair with my things. Um, hello that's not OK. luckily my friend took my things. They had filled it so there weren't any dryers left after my wax. I said well is it ok to go? The technician touched my nails and said yes. I have two big toes that would tell a different story. Both paint jobs are a mess. I have a to fix my brows. My friend's feet were rubbed raw. We won't be back and never recommend this place.
