My good friend swares by this place and can I see why. This family owned nail shop is something unique. The three sisters and their parents run this shop very well. I do think that they have great service and appreciate their hospitality each time I visit. They are accommodating and polite and that is a testament to their good customer service. I had become a regular and enjoyed this place to treat myself every two weeks. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience the last time I visited because although my chevron nails looked good from a far it was not neatly completed. I brought a picture to show the look I wanted and had to ask for the nails to be corrected twice and then just gave up because she was not getting it. read more

Not really sure how this place has such good reviews. I was not impressed at all! Yeah the prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. The lady wanted to charge me extra to trim my cuticles before a full set. Never heard of that... though that was standard practice?? Almond shape is an extra $3. The lady also told me that anything longer than the length you see on the picture (super short) would be an additional $5. So after all these extra costs (that a regular nail salon would not charge for) their prices end up not being so cheap after all. The young lady who did my nails (wish I would have asked for her name) was less than thrilled to be doing my nails. She got offended when I asked her to file down some of my thumb more because the acrylic was lopsided. She said "she didn't see anything wrong" like a snob. She was done in my nails in less than an hour which was nice. However, I wish she had spent more time on them because the quality is terrible. Still in love with KE Nails! Came here after a long hiatus to get a fill on nails I got done at another salon, and a polish change. The technician took a lot of care and effort to make sure my nails came out smooth and blemish-free. And the cost was $25, which seemed like an absolute STEAL to me! My only complaint is that I asked for a matte black polish, and the matte didn't turn out quite how I thought it would. They have a matte top coat that can turn any color matte, but it's still "shinier" than I would like. I can't really blame the salon for this, because I've never done a matter before, and didn't know how it would turn out. (I was hoping or instagram nails, I will admit). However, the staff didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want (which is a pet peeve of mine), they didn't give me a hard time about tipping on my debit card, and the wait was very reasonable for a busy Saturday afternoon. I'm glad to have this nail place in my neighborhood! I stopped in on a weekday evening and someone was ready to take me immediately. No introduction, the woman just asked me what I wanted. And delivered. There was no time wasted as she started to remove my gel polish, buff and shape my nails, clean up my cuticles and apply the gel polish color that I chose. (There were roughly 60 gel polish colors to choose from PS!) She spoke english but we didn't speak during the service (which I prefer). I just watched the news and the nail tech did her thing. There wasn't too much massage and no paraffin wax or masque but I didn't mind - my hands feel moisturized and my nails look awesome. $25 for a gel polish removal AND application done in 30 minutes?! Honestly quite possibly the best full set I've had. The place is small and I'm not sure the Emory boards are new. But I don't even care. The guy was so thorough and it is so affordable. I would recommend but I don't want it to get busier than it already is :) I will definitely be back. read more

The first time I came was not a great outcome, service was friendly, communication was easy and she worked quickly but I did not like the way my gel nails turned out. They were thicker "chunkier" at the tips and really thin in other areas...but since they get better reviews than some of the other salons I wanted to try again, I just got a gel manicure this time and they turned out great. You get what you pay for. Not a luxury experience by any means. It is what it is. I usually get a full set and they do a pretty darn good job for the price. What I will say is that they arent too worried about damaging your nail beds. If you plan on going back to your natural nails, this isn't the place to be getting acrylics. read more

We dropped in for a mani/pedi to celebrate a birthday and as some pre-wedding prep- being a bridesmaid is a lot of work, y'all! We were immediately greeted and ushered over to our pedicure chairs. They have 6 very comfortable massage chairs. Our ladies didn't speak to us much, but we were engrossed in our own conversation, and to be honest, I'm not much of a talker while getting beauty services. They had a wide array of regular and gel polish. Although as one other Yelper noted, their OPI section is only about a 1/4 of their available regular nail polish. The service was super speedy, but we were both happy with the outcome. They do offer waxing, but we did not take advantage of that on this trip. **Tip: They do take reservations on weekdays, but it is walk-ins only on Friday and Saturday. read more

Ok. This is my regular nail place. It may not be the spa of your dreams, but it's clean. They do a great job. It's comfortable and a pedicure is $20. Someone will touch your feet, trim your nasty hooves for $20! And they're nice to you. I only get pedicures, so I can't speak to the manicure etc. quality. I wish they had more OPI colors, because that's my fav, but there are tons of polish choices. I wish I could drink wine when my toes were being worked on, but...I might never leave then. My husband and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. There was no wait and we got in right away for mani & pedi. The staff was nice, and understanding of my latex allergy (they use latex gloves). The guy that did my pedi took his time and was very detailed and patient. Even when it got busy I never felt rushed. Ke nails has fast service in a medicore atmosphere. They do great work and it's done quickly. They use an minty oil during the pedicure. They should increase their regular nail polish selection. They have 3 pedicure spa massage chairs. A girl waxed my eyebrows and they looked pretty damn good. I will be going back. I got a pedicure, gel manicure, and eye brow wax and it cost me $53. This place is the place to go for acrylics!! Love it! It's cheaper pricing and they will fix your nails for 6$ if they break. 12$ for a fill, with same polish color. And for a whole new color and acrylic set it's about 30$-40$ depending on what you get. I always get mood changing nail polish! definitely recommended read more

He and his wife began speaking in Vietnamese and kind of ignored me then went for a girl in the back. Girl comes out less than pleased. I did notice that as a middle aged woman step in she was greeted immediately and the old man began smiling and acting sweet. Prejudice is here and the service is not great for the price. read more

Usually there are one or two nail technicians in a shop that do a better job than the others -- NOT the case at KE NAILS. It doesn't matter who's chair you sit in, or who does your pedi... You will be happy. I will say, I prefer to come during non peak days/hours because being the only person in the shop makes me relax even more!!!!! read more

I've been coming here for manicure and pedicure for about a year and had nothing but great experience, except for today. DO NOT let the guy possible the owner do your nails! It took him forever to apply the gel polish, which was tolerable as long as the job is well done. Apparently not the case here. He applied the polish outside of the nail bed on each and every finger of mine. It's just beyond horrible. I am glad the girl working there was able to fix it (let's say about 85%), which made me less upset and frustrated. But overall not the best experience with KE nails. read more

Second time coming in for a pedicure. It's not worth it they skip a lot of basic routines for a basic pedicure. They continue to apply extra coats if the nail polish doesn't come out smooth. Found my new gel nail place! $25 for a set and they did a great job! My nail tech was super friendly and made sure I was completely happy with the nail shape before proceeding. The base and top they used was from Gelish (which is a really good brand for gel) and I think they had a good selection of OPI colors. Couple of remarks: the place was definitely pretty small. Didn't bother me but I wouldn't go in a big group and expect to all be done at the same time. This was by far the worst nail experience i have ever had. I walked in and nobody said anything to me. I sat down and waited about a half hour for someone to ask what i wanted. I came in for an acrylic fill and the guy doing my nails didn't ask me if i wanted to keep the length. The nail technician switched and the lady painting my nails did an awful job. She put one coat on my nails like it was a race and i could literally see my flesh under when she was finished. Not to mention, two of my fingers were bleeding from the filling process. This place has a ton of polish choices I will say that. However as a previous review stated by the time they get done nickel and diming you for average length nails, using a debit card, and other meticulous charges it ends up not being so cheap. I have always got a much less than friendly vibe from the family who owns this place. However it is very close to my house so I continued to go up until recently when I had a very unsettling experience. A couple weeks ago I went to KE Nails at 6:30 but I was just getting my eyebrows done and the older gentleman says we can do your eyebrows but we aren't doing nails anymore. Another woman walks in at 6:45 and gets a full set but I let that go because I didn't want my nails done anyhow. So today I went there at 6:15 for a fill and the older man gives me a dirty look and after standing there for about a minute he finally asks me what I want to get done and when I told him a fill. He tells me to come back. At this point I ask "wait so do you guys close at 7 or not?" He says we have one more client and I'm like ok but there are 3 of you in here. Then he points at the younger woman nail tech and says "well she's the only one who will do your nails, she's the only one who wants to do your nails." At that point I asked what's that suppose to mean and he just ignores me and starts talking to a customer. At this point I walked out. The staff at this place are rude and unethical. My sister lives not too far from here so it's an easy walk. The place is smaller than I was expecting with 3 pedicure chairs and 3 manicure tables. The selection of nail colors isn't a lot, but I'm sure you will have no problem finding a color to your liking. They are fast and efficient. The prices are GREAT!! $20 basic pedi. The staff isn't super chatty but not unfriendly either. I got an eye brow wax as well, which I was a little skeptical about because I'm picky and I have very sensitive skin but they turned out great!
