I got my hair cut here and it was fine but not great. Right away I was told my hair couldn't look like the photos I showed without tons of styling - ok I get it. The stylist worked quickly which was nice. I wanted lots of layering and don't feel like I got that at all. The price was pretty good, but I've payed less for the same haircut (I've also spent more on worst haircuts!). I probably wouldn't go back as I wasn't wowed, but if you are just looking for a trim at a good price, it would work. read more

I got a lash lift and my tech, Alanna, used products she said weren't her normal products. My lashes didn't lift at all and I still paid and tipped 20%. I left a review (not public-facing) and she reached back to to correct the issue with a free lash lift. I accepted but when I tried to redeem, I was ghosted. Terrible service, in my opinion. Not responsible and very unprofessional. EDIT: They also deleted my google review so I came to yelp. I never leave reviews unless I get exceptional service. I am a long time customer of Salon George and can't recommend it strongly enough. The space is pretty and calming, you can easily tell that there has been a lot of care put into the vibe. I recommend Kat Benick, although I would have confidence in anyone there. Kat is able to give me a great look in styles that I can care for myself. She is amazing with dye as well. I have been going to Liv. She's super sweet and easy to talk to. My favorite part is when she washes my hair. I would probably just pay her to wash my hair because it's so relaxing. We recently switched to the salon after the place we went to for 15 years closed. Several of our stylists went there, And we can see why. The studio is nice, spacious and practices safe behavior in this Covid era. Dustin repaired my hair! The last two stylist had shaved or chopped away sections they shouldn't have. I was worried about having to grow it out and how long that would take. But with Dustin he was able to fix it so it can grow out but it's hidden! And he does amazing under shave work too. Can't wait to try their other services! read more

I love this salon! I have started to get my pedicures and manicures here. Jennilyn does an OUTSTANDING job on my nails! When I got them done for the first time, they looked amazing and beautiful. It's easy to find, there's plenty of beverages while you wait, and it's small, so you don't feel like one of a million customers coming through the doors. I just went to this salon for the first time last night and loved it. First off my stylist was running a but late and they called me ahead of time to let me know. I can't tell you how many times I have sat in a waiting room at a salon or other appointment wishing they would have just called me to tell me--well Salon George did. When I arrived at Salon George at the new time my stylist was ready and waiting. Jenny had consulted with me on the type of color service and look I wanted earlier. We did highlights, root touch up and then a tone back on the highlights (because I wasn't looking for blond). She got me a glass of red wine to start and then within about 2 hours was finished with the whole service and my hair looks great. The price was reasonable too given how much work was involved. I had an amazing appointment with Dustin! He was so welcoming and was extremely helpful through out my entire hair transformation. From the consultation to the actual dying and cutting, everything was well thought out and I felt very cared for. I could not have picked a better stylist or salon. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will be returning not only for the excellent services, but the chill atmosphere of the salon itself. I want to rave about this salon, along with all the other raves I see listed here -- I loved it! I get my hair cut about once a year; it's straight and fine and there's not much a hairstylist can do with it, but just trim the frizzy dead ends off. But Vanessa at Salon George did so much more! She talked with me to figure out what I wanted (which I didn't even know!) and then she suggested a little bit of layering and a few other things. She did my lip and brow wax and then did a fantastic job with my hair. I'm a lead singer for a band and have a show tonight. I had given up on paying ridiculous amounts for someone to do my hair, but I decided to give it a try again since I will be getting married soon. I was recommended to go to Nikki. In my mind I figured it would be a alright experience and it would cost more than the job was worth. In the end,my mind was change. I have never walked out of a salon feeling 100% In love with my hair... Until now! Nikki went above and beyond to make my highlights look as close to the picture as I wanted it. She even made time to give my fiancée who did not have a appointment a hair cut. She even styled my hair beautifully!!! That never happens when I go to a salon being that my hair is long and there's a lot! We both also did not get pressured into buying products , we both get so annoyed when salons do that. I ended up paying 90 for a full foil and a little bit of a hair trim. Every penny was worth it. I will for sure make be making the 35-40 min drive every time I need my hair colored!
