Ari didn't judge me for the state of my hair, in fact - she praised me for how I'd been doing on my own! My previous stylist joked that it looked like a drunk person had done my hair so I was a little shy about having someone see it again. (Thank you Ari!) I'm that person who wants something fun and new but never goes for it, and this was the same with Ari. I mentioned wanting a change but we both agreed not to try a shag and she trimmed me up and styled me nicely. Easy to chat with and also easy to be quiet with. I had visited Fox Den before they moved just for a perm consult and was happy at that time too. After some research, I found Tiffany Twist while searching the broad MN metro area. Her website and background impressed me, so I gave her a call. She responded quickly, I sent some photos, then explained I'm driving two hours for this and am hoping to get it done in one visit. Not a problem. I went to my appointment the next day. On arrival, it was a pleasant surprise to see she does this out of her apartment (a nice one) and has everything on site. I was absolutely dreading a 5+ hour appointment in a typical salon setting lol. This was so much better, being in a home type of setting, very comfortable, and to top it off kitties!!! We talked about what I wanted done, she color matched and prepped stuff, and I watched her tutorial videos until she was ready. The best part, I got to stream movies and shows on her tv throughout the entire appointment. Epic. Fast forward 5ish hours, breaks as needed. I'm mind blown. I was absolutely stunned at the results! I had very damaged hair, she fixed it right up, and it looked all natural. She cut/styled at the end too. Idk how she does it, but I cannot say enough good things. I seriously could not have had a better experience. I will go out of my way, again, to go back to her for adjustments and whatnot in the future. And I'm happy to tell the world how awesome she is and what a great job she can do. To anyone looking for extensions, I would absolutely recommend Tiffany. Just do it. You're in good hands. - It's been several days since the appointment. No issues. I washed my hair once so far using her brand-name shampoo/conditioner, then used a blow dryer and brush (carefully). Thank you Tiffany!!!

I intend to keep using west coast hair for all of my extension needs. If youre thinking about extensions, this is the way to go!!! And as an added bonus, the staff is amazing! She then told me she did not own a diffuser for my curls, and had me style my own hair, and walk out of the studio with a FULLY WET HEAD! When I called back (after battling more), she finally agreed to a refund. She's (in my opinion) an expert when it comes to coloring blondes...she just gets it. Not only does Haley have excellent coloring skills, she's a down to earth gal, that takes the time to get to know you and your hair needs. She really goes above and beyond for all her clients and takes the time to go the extra mile to ensure you will look and feel fabulous after leaving her salon. I use to live in NYC and paid big bucks to have my hair colored by well known colorist...however, I never was impressed with how my color would turn out. It was never blonde enough or for some reason ended up looking unnatural. I remember one time I paid 500.00 for a partial color at a well known salon in NYC...I left the salon crying...I was so upset with my color that I booked a flight right away to Minneapolis to have Haley fix it...All I told Haley was, "I want it bright blonde!" No questions asked, Haley did exactly what I wanted...NO ONE compares to the work Haley does. Her sense of style and coloring skills are truly one of a kind and it's very hard to find someone as talented as her. Haley has been doing my hair for years now and I will continue going to Haley no matter where she's located. It's one hundred percent worth your travel time and money to have Haley do your hair. You will not be disappointed! Haley, has recently moved into a space of her own at Sola Salon in Uptown. I visited when she first opened her doors. The space is cute and cozy. It was such a relaxing experience. I had my hair colored, a deep conditioning treatment, and an eye brow wax. While I was getting my deep conditioning treatment Haley waxed my eyebrows... My eye brows needed a lot of work, shaping, and cleaning up...I was nervous to have them done...however, my eyebrows looked amazing after Haley did them. I was so happy with her work. I also loved all her new products she used on my hair and will be picking some up on my next visit. As I sat in Haley's chair I had a smile from ear to ear, as I was so happy with how my hair and eye brows turned out. It was exactly what I wanted! I left her salon that day looking and feeling like a million bucks. I always receive so many compliments on my hair color after Haley does it and this time was no different. If you're wanting to change things up or just refresh your current color, I highly recommend making an appointment with Haley...you'll be so happy you did. Trust me :-)
