In the end I am ALWAYS satisfied and trust her expertise to the full extent. The salon is clean, friendly and financially feasible. Although I am willing to put in the extra cash knowing I will be elated with the end product. I have used Kathy for: a full color, highlights, low lights, hair cuts both drastic and trims, my children's hair, and she has even done a large donation of my hair to those battling cancer. I just needed to grow it out and she happily did the rest. Since moving to the North metro I still wouldn't think of finding a new stylist closer. She is and always will be my go to.

I'm so glad I took a chance because I loved the experience and can't wait to come back. When I walked in I was impressed with the cool vibe of plants hanging everywhere. It has a rustic meets outdoorsy theme and I love it. When I called to make my appointment I got super lucky with getting assigned to Brittany. I found out that she specializes in blondes so it was a perfect match. She did a beyond outstanding job with my foil and cut. She took such careful time to make sure my foils were in all the right places and a nice color to complement my natural hair. Despite being nervous the look turned out beautifully and I can't wait to go back for a touch up. As a bonus she made me feel super comfortable and we had a good conversation. Pro tip: there is plenty of street parking that's free, much more than I expected.

Poor quality service and uneven haircut:…read more I was not impressed by this highly reviewed salon. I came in to get a very simple and straight 2 inch hair trim from Bella and it did not go as I was hoping. Bella was polite and listened to my easy request but her attention to detail and quality was not there. I came in with my hair almost fully dry from freshly washing it so she asked if I had just washed it, which of course I answered yes to. But I wasn't expecting this question to indicate that she would start cutting my hair dry. At first I was confused because at every salon I've been to, shampooing is usually included into the price of a hair cut but I went along with it thinking maybe this place just likes to charge more for shampooing and not mention that on their website or in person (and at this point I wasn't interested in paying them extra for it anyways). Then my dissatisfaction really started to kick in when I watched Bella measure my hair for evenness. When she did this, she took a part of my hair on both sides the first time really fast and with a very quick eye (possibly noticing a difference in length, I'm not really sure); then again immediately after only using her sense of touch while looking completely away from my hair altogether. Then she proceeded to snip a bit more on one side. My trusting personality started out hoping that this was just her technique but when I got home I realized it was purely lack of effort and care. Now, for paying $40 plus tip, I can't expect the best hair cut I've ever had, and apparently a complimentary shampooing either, but for such a basic hair trim, I would expect more than what I left with. I will not be coming back here.

We talked about it, and he said he could put more color in for me right now if I wanted... I asked to live in it for a few days and make a decision. He said no problem... just log in to the online schedule and grab a spot if I decide I want more color in the next week or two. I did go back for more color, and I was very satisfied with my second visit as well. It's been about 2 months. My color is still very vibrant, although I do use color safe products, try not to expose my hair to more heat than necessary, etc. Just booked my next appointment for the end of October. Todd is very kind and fun to talk to and I'm excited to have him work on my hair again.

Dani is a miracle worker!!!…read more I had my hair absolutely botched at Steller Hair in NE Minneapolis a few weeks ago and I was really desperate to find someone who could correct a horribly bleached & toned balayage by the end of the week... I found Dani on Instagram and saw that she had a lot of experience fixing other people's messes with a reverse balayage technique. I took a leap of faith and decided to ask for her help. I was able to get in to her 3 days after my botch-job and she created a blend of colors that was IDENTICAL to my natural root color, hand painted it over the bleach, and blended it through my old highlights... The result? Sheer perfection. (See photo) Of any of you ever need color correction work done, do yourself a favor and see Dani!
