Everyone there is so friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. Last weekend I had a hair and makeup trial with Erin for my upcoming wedding. Both my hair and my makeup exceeded my expectations. I will be using her for my wedding in January and coming back for a charity gala in May. Today I got a haircut by Erin. Wow! My hair looks and feels fabulous and healthy. Erin has an eye for getting the cut just right. Definitely recommend The Loft Salon for special occasion hair and makeup as well as hair cuts. Check out Erin - she is great! Also, the prices here are great for the neighborhood where there are super pricey salons all around but you definitely are not missing out on quality.

They did a good job of sending reminders as well. The salon is clean and sleek. I was immediately offered a beverage (water, coffee, wine) when I arrived. Lexi cut my hair, and she was *great*. Leah is very skilled, probably the most talented colorist I have encountered in my 15 years of getting my hair done. I was devastated when Leah moved me off her books. She did this to focus on her hair extension business, and referred me to Emily Radford. I am currently brunette, with the request to make my way to blonde, I asked for highlights and provided a few inspirational pictures. What I received was very minimal, I could not see a change in my hair aside from 2 chunky highlights at the front of my hair. I understand it takes time to break up brown hair, but i received was unexpected. I was charged $348. Emily is young, new in her career, which I was happy to give her a chance. Moreover, Leah, the owner of the salon has never charged me over $220, and would exceed my expectations. I am extremely sad with the results from this time around, or lack of results rather. I asked for the situation to be made, right, and resolved but Emily said since too much time passed she will not fix or refund. Yes, it has been more than 7 days, but my hair is the same as it was when I walked out of the salon on 10/19, its still brunette, with no highlights except in the front. It took me until today, 12/3 to find the courage to say something about the situation. Lavish salon will charge with you steep unreasonable, unjustifiable prices, without any explanation or preparation of price point. I was blind sided by the price of $348. I cannot afford this price point for my hair, and I am still in need of getting my hair corrected, and will need to pay another salon to make this right. I feel taken advantage of. She took her time to listen and offer ideas and then asked me some questions. The cut took about an hour but we chatted for a good couple of minutes and the shampoo treatment was about 5 minutes but to be in and out in an hours time seems pretty good to me. I also made an appointment, not sure if they take walk-ins but I'd call first. Anyway, CJ was amazing. After the cut, she gave my hair a blow out and it's never looked better. Because I live in a city that has harsh water, she gave me a few tips on which shampoos to purchase but she NEVER tried to sell me shampoo or any products from the salon, she simply gave me suggestions and tips so I could make my own decision and purchases. I will absolutely visit again when I need my hair cut again. The price, which I paid $60 with a 15% tip, is totally worth it.
