I made my daughter an appointment to get her hair cut at the salon which took approximately 15 minutes start to finish. The stylist did a dry cut and did not wash or blow dry my daughters hair. The haircut was fine but they proceeded to charge $50 for the cat without a discount for not washing and or drying the hair which would've taken at least Twice the time. This is definitely a case of buyer beware... I didn't ask the price and that's on me but I have had her haircut here before for $35 and it was also washed and blow dried and styled. read more

I had a great experience at SpaToria this week! Very warm and friendly help at the front desk. I picked up a gift certificate for a friend and while I was getting my hair cut/colored they packaged it up real nice with a few samples included. Todd L. did a fabulous job on my hair. He was particularly attentive throughout cut and color to be sure he was doing what I expected. He helped work with me and made a great change in my look. He was careful not to go too short and made me feel very comfortable to ask him to make a few changes. GREAT overall experience. Warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!! read more

Had a men's haircut and beard trim today from the Stylist Todd and he did a phenomenal job!! He was very thorough and precise and was always having me check is progress to make sure I was liking every aspect of my haircut!! He has a ton of experience and it is very apparent! I used to regularly see a hair stylist for my curly hair needs in another salon and found out she was let go. She ended up calling her client list with the news that she was now working parttime at Salon Spatoria. I had never been there, but I wanted to keep my same stylist, so I gave it a whirl and drove out from Eden Prairie. First impression when I walked in was "ok." The building looked alright and it was a decent set up. The receptionists, on the other hand, were extremely young and pretty unprofessional. One was wearing dress pants that were completely frayed at the bottom. The other looked like she just woke up and threw her hair in a messy ponytail. A great look when greeting guests at a salon, right? While they were nice enough, they weren't extra friendly. It was very matter-of-fact. They had me wait as my stylist was wrapping up an appointment. It was funny hearing them giggling over Facebook and asking each other whether the lady that had just left had paid or not. Meanwhile, one of the hair stylists came out sporting frayed jeans and a hoody. I thought I had walked into Super Cuts for a second. THIS is Victoria's idea of a high-end salon & spa? Classy, indeed. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, so I was happy to wait. About 5 minutes later, I saw my stylist walk out with her client. She walked back into the salon without looking at me once. I thought, "Well, maybe she didn't see me." I had put down the magazine assuming I was going to get called in momentarily. How wrong I was. 15 minutes go by and nothing. She didn't come out to get me, the receptionists kept giggling away at Facebook. Finally, one of them turned to me and said: "Oh. You have an appointment with X, right?" I said,"Yes." She went back to the salon. I assumed she was checking on my stylist to see if she was ready for me. The receptionist comes back out and doesn't say a word to me. Ok. So I wait another 10 minutes and finally just had it. I walked up and said, "I've been here for 30 minutes and I don't have any more time to wait." The wide-eyed girl was surprised and just said, "Oh. I'm sorry... do you want me to reschedule you?" I just stopped her there and said, "No. Not really. I've seen enough." I left and I have NO intention of ever returning. If you're in the Twin Cities area, do yourself a favor and pick one of the many friendly, classy salons that are available. Not this dump. It's not too much to ask for a little customer service and professional people. read more

i do not recommend this place. i said short trim don't need to take anything off and the woman proceeded to cut off three inches and i was very disappointed because it ruined my hair. if you are seeing this review please do not go to this place!!! you will regret it and not want to show your self read more

The customer service was horrendous! They forgot to put my bridal party on the books and didn't tell me, and all of this was after I called twice and got no call backs! When i went in to talk to them in person, the lady at the front desk was snotty, and said she could only squeeze in one or two of my party. Two is not five, and does not fix their mistake in any way shape or form! When I called the manager the following Monday to make her aware of the issue, she was just as pathetic as the front desk woman. The only consolation I received for their negligence was an insincere, "Sorry." You couldn't pay me to ever go back there! read more

The lobby was clean and comfortable, the front desk was courteous and professional and my cut/color exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Salon Spatoria! I'm really surprised that all of the good reviews have been filtered. I've been getting my hair cut by Anna at Salon Spatoria for over a year and I've never had a bad experience. I have really difficult hair to work with, it's thick, course, frizzy, and wavy, and until I found Anna I never could get a haircut I could maintain or style at home. The first time I saw Anna I told her about the issues with my hair and kind of what I was looking for, she pulled out pictures and did a really thorough consultation. The haircut she gave me rocked, it was exactly what I wanted and better yet it was so easy to style at home. Also, I almost never get the same haircut when I go in and it's nice that I can change it up and know that I'm still gonna get a great haircut. And to top it off, she gives me an awesome hand massage while my hair is being conditioned. Unfortunately, I lost my job and had to cut my own hair this month to save money, I cannot wait to start my new job so I can go in and get it done right!! read more
