Worst pedicure i have ever had. Paid more for gel polish which peeled off the next day. I was charged $3 to pay with a debit card, my friend was charged $2 to pay with her debit card. Ridiculous to be charged at all to pay with a card but then to charge people different amounts?!? My friends mani/pedi looked like it was painted by a 5 year old. Will never go back. Felt like I was being scammed out of every last dollar they could get for a crappy pedi and impolite customer service. I would give them zero stars if it was an option. read more

This is probably one of my favorite places to get a manicure/pedicure as of now. I'm not sure what people are talking about regarding the decor, because I actually thought it was great - they're decked out for the holidays! Probably the only downside was that when I went home after two rounds of the pedicure dryer I came back to find that the polish was smudged, but good thing I got a glittery nail polish otherwise it would have looked...not so hot ;) but I went mainly to just chill and get a foot massage and stuff, I mean who sees your toes during the wintertime really ha ha :). read more

This is the best place I have found so far to get my eyebrows waxed. They are super attentive and take their time. I've gone to some higher end places before to get my eyebrows waxed, like european wax center, or spas and it's always felt like it was a "wham bam, thank you ma'am" type of service. $30 for a gel manicure made me happy :) Perfect Nails is a hidden little nails shop in the corner of the Har Mar mall, behind Cub Foods. You can't see it from the street, and you have to know that it's there, or you'll never find it. It's a little bit of a flashback to the '90s with neon lights and all... I've only been here once, so far. But I have to say that I had an overall good experience. I chose a dark color, and there were a few mistakes in the way that the nail tech applied the polish. She corrected it, albiet somewhat grudgingly. The complaint that I have is that even though I didn't have to wait to be attended, and it took them MORE THAN AN HOUR AND A HALF just to do a gel nail polish manicure, because they have only ONE UV DRYER in the whole place. I couldn't get my nails dried between coats, and it took **forever** to get them done. But hey, sometimes you get what you pay for.... $30 is a bit cheaper than the places nearby. ;) read more

I LOVE perfect nails! My friends and I go there as a group on a regular basis for pedicures and it is a treat! They do a great job-it is relaxing, fun, great smelling products, many nail polish colors and the polish lasts a long time. They also do beautiful flower designs. They have great customer service and are very nice. Very reasonable prices. It's a nice environment. We will continue to go back there for our nail get togethers. read more

Olay place. Busy Saturday, got a gel manicure for $30. About a five minute wait. it was hard to find in the mall (har mar) and spent about ten minutes looking for it, tucked away in a corner by K&G. My nail tech was a little rushed, didn't pamper me much. They rub oil on your hands and arms before you leave which was gross. My color looks good but my nail edges feel a little jagged and she made my finger bleed when she clipped my cuticles. Overall not that impressed. My friend got a better tech who took her time more and did a better job. read more

My first manicure there was great -- gel french nails. While pricey and definitely not quick, the nails were gorgeous and I was very satisfied. Today I went back, with an appointment, to have my nails filled and to get new color. It look more than an hour, and I wasn't thrilled with the color selection but I talked myself into liking it. After sitting under the fan for the 10 minutes the nail technician suggested, I walked down the mall to shop. Two of my nails quickly smudged so I walked back for a touch up. This time I sat under the drying fan for 15 minutes. The same smudging happened within minutes and I returned again, this time very unhappy. I told the technician just to do French nails this time. She was eager to please, though she informed me that there was a $5 upcharge for the French nails. I asked her why the nails kept smudging and she said that maybe the polish was old! I told her that in that case, they should throw out the polish. I let her know that I wasn't happy about the upcharge. I wasted most of my afternoon and I will never go back there again. I drove across town to this salon because of my good first experience but there are too many salons around to give this one another try. read more

Calculated loss up-charges for gel and French nails, the pedicure canceled by companion, future business of both people and reputation as a good place to do business. I had both a pedicure and manicure at Perfect Nails. Both were fabulous and it was a clean and comfortable place. It is tucked away in Har Mar Mall but it has been the best manicure/pedicure I've received so far - and that includes Juut Salon. It is affordable, the owner is professional and helpful as are the staff. I can't recommend Perfect Nails enough. read more

This is my favorite nail salon! They always take their time with my acrylic nails! They are quick but very careful. So you aren't waiting there forever but you still get a very good job done. I had been going to a nail place long term that was in White Bear Lake that I loved. But thought I'd try this place out as it is closer to my home. I went in on a Monday afternoon about 1pm and waited 45 minutes for an acrylic fill. Fine I didn't make an appt so I waited. It took much longer than it should but I assumed she was just being a perfectionist which is good. I went home that evening and noticed my middle finger on my right hand had chipped off and not just the polish the actual nail. So I went in the next day around the same time and had to bring my daughter with me. I had to wait another half hour to be seen. The lady I had had the day before wasn't there so I was passed among two different people. They couldn't find the color that was used the day before & blew it off like it was ok to have mismatching nails. Finally someone actually found my color bc I clearly wanted the same color. They didn't charge me for the fix so I went on my way. Tuesday night another chip on my pointer finger. I couldn't believe it I don't do anything that is hard on my nails I'm a student. This time I was angry but kept my cool and called them the following morning to make an appt for another fix, I knew I would have to bring my daughter with & didn't want to wait with her too long. I explained on the phone this would be my second trip in there and she said she would look at them & fix again but she made it sound like I would be compensated. When I arrived at my appt time it took about 10 minutes before I was even greeted and another 20 minutes before I was actually in a chair. 30 minutes after my appt time! Then the lady who I spoke to on the phone wasn't even there so they gave me back to my original person I told her this was my second trip back and she just said "I fix" I'm not one to cause a scene so I just let her fix it and left. Nail polish has chipped again since then and they have been on for 6 days. Needless to say I will never go back they cost more than the other place I go & don't do nearly as good of a job, make appts wait, and don't care about people's time. Save your time & money and go elsewhere. read more

I came here about a week ago and got french tips. The lady told me I could get acrylic or gel nails but told me to get gel nails because they are more healthier for your nails and some other bullshit... So she did my nails, they looked okay and I was charged $40... since they were GEL nails, right? Wrong. After I got home, I decided to do a little research since I don't get my nails done often. Come to find out, I was scammed. The thing is, I didn't get gel nails. She actually gave me acrylic nails and charged me the cost of gel nails. This is a scam that some nail places are doing. It's sick and disgusting. Lying to your customers? Really? Why couldn't you be honest with me? You're a sick woman. No wonder you were so rude to me. I am never going to this place again. Just had one of the worst professional experiences of my life. I have been a loyal customer of Perfect Nails but doubt I will ever return. I went in, they told me to sit down at a station right away and proceeded to soak my nails. Then the employees started screaming at each other, one lady picked up my bag and coat and tossed it onto the floor by another lady's station. The second employee cut my nails and then the manager asked if I had an appointment. I said no, but that I had been directed to a station immediately and without question, and she told me I needed to stand up and wait until someone else was done. Taken aback, I clarified that they already started working on my nails and now they wanted me to get up mid-gel manicure and wait. I took my things and promptly left the salon. Totally unprofessional setting, employees fighting with each other and putting their own oversight of letting too many people into the salon on me. Beware. read more

So I'm usually not too picky of a person when it comes to my nails, but when I had my nails done here at perfect nails it was just a job that made me tear up..tear up because it was so terrible! First issue is when I walked in I wasn't greeted, and there was a male sitting on his ipad at the front desk, I was standing there for a good 5 minutes, or at least until he finished whatever he was doing on his Ipad. Well Hello, i'm a customer, maybe they should be more friendly and professional to their customers. Anyhow, I forgave that issue, I was finally approached by the male and asked what do you want today? um, excuse me, that's no way to greet a paying customer!!! The worse thing was he looked like he just got out of prison and got into a fight with his head stitched up! YIKES!!! I was a little eery about getting my nails done by a guy who seemed like he should be in a hospital and bandaged up! But thank goodness it was done by another nail technician. She added to the worse experience I've had in suppose to getting "pampered," she rushed rushed rushed through the whole service. If I can remember right, the pedicure was finished in 15,20 minutes with little to no massaging of my feet or legs, that's terrible for the price I'm paying! I selected and upgraded to the $40 pedicure, which i was suppose to get pampered for even longer, but I guess I was wrong. I really should have said something to them to help better the service and future experience of others, but I figured if I wrote a review online, it would be more beneficial to those looking around for a salon.
