Red Mountain Pharmacy did really well BEFORE they sold out to a new owner. Since then, I have had nothing but problems with my Rx and their prices have gone up too. Example, I ordered a refill on one of my prescriptions, my doc called it in. RMP changed it to a short acting instead of the long acting she called in. I called my doc and she said she did not change it. Doc called pharmacy. They still say she changed it and that its what she always called in. Mind you, I have photo of the actual prescription bottle with the prescription on it from their pharmacy showing she had called in the long acting they say she didn't call in. I don't know about you, but I want the pharmacy to dispense what my doc prescribes NOT what the pharmacist (who doesn't know me, my medical history nor has practiced medicine a day in their lives thinks is best). Really? Your going to argue with the Doctor? Yeah. NOT impressed. Bad way to gain my confidence and terrible way to business. read more

They will text you when your order is ready but will not respond to your texts. They also do not answer the phone and don't return phone messages. Only open M-F 9-5p. They do not accept any insurance so be prepared for high prices. Face to face they are cordial. Overall customer service is awful read more

STAY AWAY. Our cat needed medication, so we went here as our vet didn't stock it. Despite dropping off the prescription eight days ago, they never filled it. Multiple calls and voicemails went unanswered, even our vet couldn't reach them. No response to date. We switched to Elements Compounding Pharmacy--fast, clean, and friendly. While they might be understaffed, our previous experiences here were unfriendly too, with checkout staff too "busy" to stop their conversation with other coworkers (I had to do the prompting for this lady during my checkout). I strongly suggest choosing Elements Compounding Pharmacy compared to this place. read more

The employees here are always busy. They are efficient and text me when my cat's medicine is ready for pickup. They are very helpful if there are questions about a medication. It only takes minutes to pick up a prescription. Everyone is kind no matter how busy they are. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacy's I have ever been to besides the Walgreens greenfield and brown. Every time I have gotten my scripts sent here they don't have them or "lost" them just for me to turn around and have to come back the next day to get them (which is a 30 min drive) Cody is the only one who is remotely good. The other girl I don't know her name is horrible. I would recommend asking your dr. About another facility also compare prices!! I just found out that my prescription is $100 (semiglutide) cheaper at a different pharmacy, and my other is $15. read more

This used to be a great pharmacy but not any more. Customer service is horrible and they took 3 weeks to fill a prescription I needed for a very sick puppy. I won't go back and I suggest you don't go there either. Like so many others we will be switching to Elements Compounding Pharmacy. read more

Extremely RUDE!! I wish I had caught the name of the lady I was talking to, she had an Asian accent and AWFUL costumer service. I was calling in a prescription for one of our cat patients, she asked the quantity and I simply told her I had to pull up the doctors notes and it should only take a second. She said "if you don't know I'm going to put you on hold!" And I was put back on hold before I could get a word out. After being picked up again I let her know the dose. She very rudely stated "that's not the dose the cat is on!" I tried explaining to her that doctor wanted to change the dose and she just didn't seem to understand and was being very mean about it. She told me she wanted to talk to the doctor but unfortunately our doctor had already left for the day. I let her know I could have the doctor call back when she is in office and I heard the lady on the phone say "she hung up on me" to her coworkers and then SHE HUNG UP ON ME! Our clinic will not be having anymore prescriptions called into Red Mountain Pharmacy. read more

Hmm first time here...usually got my dog med at Diamond back in Scottsdale but they just changed their policy and stopped doing same day compound so I ended up at this new place...anyway, I got a bottle that is half the size of the one I usually get from diamond back with double the price. Basically I paid 4 times the price for same thing...why? My dog, Annie, has Cushings syndrome and had been on 60mg trilostane for two years. The veterinarian refined the dosage to 50mg, which required formulating. Red Mountain filled the Rx, but put the wrong directions on the label: two 50mg tablets daily instead of one. I conferred with my vet and we went with one, hoping the capsules were accurately formulated as 50mg. I contacted Red Mountain and they said they do not make mistakes. The blood test put the medication in the precise range predicted. The first refill, 60 capsules of 50mg once a day was begun and Annie reverted to an acute Cushings condition within 10 days. I contacted Red Hill. They stated that they do not make mistakes and I should contact my veterinarian. My veterinarian's advice was to have another Rx filled at a different formulating pharmacy, which we did. Annie's Cushings signs resolved dramatically and quickly. Having written prescriptions myself for 45 years, I have had occasions when a pharmacy called me to correct my prescription. A pharmacy is often the safeguard between a doctor and the patient, noting medication conflicts from different doctors, allergies, etc. The opposite is my experience with Red Hill. The first prescription had the wrong directions. The second either had no trilostane or was the wrong drug. This is a poor track record out the chute for a pharmacy that does not make mistakes. I could not talk with the pharmacist and the representative was abrupt and quick to discount my problem. read more
