They were not getting paid by PBM's. Speaking of CVS, in 2025, my health insurance informed me my usual medications were required through CVS mail services. I now get my monthlies from a robot pharmacy near Chicago. Sweet D has been talking about visiting Melrose since Fairmomt closed. Being a stubborn guy, we never came in until April, 2026. I always need Cal Mag Zinc, Potassium, various stop the runny nose, etc. supplements. Plus a cool gift now and then. Melrose has all these, plus any out of the ordinary meds I may need. And...Our familiar faces from Fairmont found a new home. This is outstanding. I do not want thousands of small, independant, cool local pharmacies, family businesses, to be crushed by unbridled capitalism. I have actually had all of my regular (non-compound) prescriptions transferred from one of the big box pharmacies.
