Huge thanks to Dennis and staff at Camelback Compounding Pharmacy... this place is really special. I utilize the in-store USPS office often and the pharmacy on occasion when I have the need. Compared to the big box pharmacies, this one really shines. I recently needed a special prescription that my dermatologist called into this pharmacy. Within a few hours, the pharmacy called me to make sure I was okay with the price before coming in and confirmed it would be ready for pick-up that same day. I went in the next morning and had fabulous customer service, I think from Dennis (the founder / owner) himself. The day after, I received a voicemail thanking me for my business and offering to help if I had any questions or future needs. In addition to the above, the onsite Hallmark store offers fabulous cards, stickers, trinkets and gifts. Parking is easy in the private lot and AJ's is conveniently located in the same shopping center in case you need groceries like I typically do. I will be back... hopefully more for the post office than the pharmacy, but grateful they are here when I need them. read more

I used to use a compounding pharmacy just a few minutes away. It would take 7-10 days to get a refill. I always felt like I was bothering them. I cannot believe the efficiency and professionalism of Camelback Pharmacy! I live across town from them and I get a refill in two days with them shipping it! Even though I live in Northern California, my Naturopath is in Scottsdale. We do telehealth and my prescriptions are filled through Camelback and shipped to me. I have had the best customer service and always work with the most kind people. I get text reminders when I'm due for a refill and they even knew that my doctor moved to a different practice as it was impacting several customers. I know I go above and beyond but it's always humbling to find another group of people that also but their best out there. Healthcare is a demanding job because you're not building widgets, you are handling one the most precious resources a person has, and I thank Camelback for their excellence!!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I recently had a prescription filled with this pharmacy. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. Not only that but I really feel like they genuinely cared about me and my well being. They were able to get a hard to find medication for me quickly. They were so responsive to getting my prescription transferred and they couldn't have been more efficient or helpful. It really felt like individualized care. I told him a story well over a year ago, haven't seen him since... always seemed to miss him and when we spoke on the phone the other day he remembered. I found it very touching. We use Camelback for our pets' prescriptions - liquids tend to cause less blood loss on our end than pills. They are great about communicating/calling when scripts are ready, and are conveniently located. The people who work there are always friendly and efficient. The only downside is dealing with parking - it's easiest to park in the AJ's lot if you can find spots. read more

My order was dated 7/21/22 the medication was use up by 8/14/22. That's 24 days' worth of medication. The dosage given to my cat was less than prescribe. The pharmacist refused to compensate for the missing medication. This writer would not trust the health of my cat to such a business; either should anyone who cares for the welfare of they're pets! read more

Went to the post office located at camelback compounding during the COVID 19 pandemic and was blown away by the service and the effort to keep the community safe. The customer service was impeccable and it was very obvious how much they cared about their customers. Being pregnant and considered "at risk" myself, I was very appreciative of the service. I will be solely using this post office moving forward. read more

100 percent recommend this pharmacy. The owner who I have never met yet goes out of his way to work with patients and their doctors. That pharmacist I was working with was amazing and got me my answer quickly from the owner. They are even going out of their way to find a way to make the flavor I wanted for my medicine!!! If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would have. My husband went in to use their shipping services and the lady with short hair was completely rude. She stated, "that you are raping us of our shipping supplies". The term "rape" was used. WOW! He was using USPS shipping material and shipping it from their store. USPS offers these flat rate shipping boxes as a means to ship priority. Meaning we are paying for the services. I would hope management of this pharmacy get extra help. With employees like these they may go out of business. I would NOT recommend their service to anyone. Do NOT come here if you are looking for customer service. I am appalled with her behavior and the pharmacy's service. read more

Young lady at the front counter was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be there. Seemed like she would rather be on her phone than help me check out. Products were also very expensive compared to cvs. If given a chance for a half star would give it. Not professional at all!!! read more

This was such an amazing pharmacy, and the people could not have been better!! They were not only the best throwback to the way that life used to be here in the valley, but it was a testament to the customer service that this country was founded on!! It's a shame that the below review had such a negative experience. I love going to this Pharmacy and to their post office. It's a mom and pop shop. Everyone has worked there for years. It's the type of place where if you live in the neighborhood, they know you and you know them. They've watched my children grow up and I've watched their children help with the family business. The Pharmacist always takes his time with me to make sure that all my questions are answered. And when it comes to the post office, "that lady with the short hair" is really, really nice and would never say anything like that if it wasn't true. No matter how busy they are they have always made sure that everyone is treated with respect and that all of their needs are met. This awesome pharmacy is a throw back to the good ol days before the big box shops took over with their huge outlets and lack of personal service. I love CVP! They remember your name, your needs, your preferences. I would pay extra to shop here (not that you do) if only just to support a small, locally owned and operated shop. I pass by about 10 Walgreens and CVSs en route to CVP and I'm always glad I did. Keep up the good work!! read more
