Where can I begin with this horrendous place? I hate I'm forced to give a star. My girlfriends and I (party of 3) decided to go after a long week to catch up with good drinks and food (particularly the biscuits, salad, and some basic seafood). Two of us arrived and the hostess told us it would be a 25 minute wait. We said it was fine because our 3rd person in the party did not arrive. Therefore, we decided to sit at the bar. We sat for 10 minutes without an acknowledgement from the bartender. Our friend arrived within 10 minutes and while we were catching up, we realized we still were not acknowledged. After 20 minutes, the bartender walked towards the back and from across the room, said she will be with us. Bartender came back and acknowledged a couple who came after us before approaching us and asked for our drinks. We ordered but shortly canceled because our table was ready. The bartender looked surprise we canceled but we said we waited too long and our table is ready. Our waiter arrived and took our order. Our biscuits were lukewarm. Salad was good. Our drinks were great; however, this was the only great part. Our food took forever; when it finally arrived, order was wrong. My one girlfriend did not receive crackers for her king crab legs. I ordered an ultimate feast and was missing my mashed potatoes. My scallops and shrimp was almost cold. My shrimp scampi sauce was nonexistent. I ate some items because I was hungry and discovered the low temperature of the items. My other girlfriend was missing her lobster mashed potatoes and shrimp was added to her order after specifically stating she is allergic to shrimp. Our waiter did agree to make her order again and agreed to bring crackers and the missing items. It never happened. After waiting over 20 minutes, I demanded to speak with the manager. While we were explaining our grievances to the manager, she made an excuse for the kitchen, noted "oh yes I had to cancel the triple berry sangrias" and even told me "well you ate most of your food"--I wanted to curse her out but calmly told her I was hungry. She reluctantly removed our plates and said she will see what she can do. She ultimately removed $15 for inconvenience and two meals were removed (my ultimate feast and my girlfriend's king crabs). The manager's tone was condescending when she asked "is that good enough". NEVER AGAIN. THIS IS TRASH. I wrote corporate too. read more

We ordered their special. Waitress Didi did not offer us options or suggestions. Food came the biscuits were lukewarm, the soup was like 4 scoops teaspoonful (very small portion) and so is the meal. Everything was very small portion like a kiddie meal. What really dismayed us is the kind of service, waitress did not refill our drinks, no napkins left and we did not see her until she gave our small dessert. We were not even finish eating our dessert and with no question if we need anything else she gives us our check. I don't care what anyone says, I will always love red lobster! I came to this location with my husband for our anniversary, and it was great. He gave me the option to go to any upscale restaurant but I chose red lobster! We had about three strawberry mojitos each and tried their surf and turf. We were planning on sitting at a table but enjoyed the bartender so much that we just ended up staying at the bar. Well it started out OK! Me and my wife ordered a lobster dinner and a coffee. After drinking some of the coffee I noticed the inside of the cup was dirty like it wasn't cleaned obviously call the waiter over showed him he looked at it like what would you like from him? I made him give me a new one. (Made him that's the key word here) Never got a sorry for giving out dirty cups. They never brought the Hot biscuits like they were supposed to. After finishing up paid for my meal off the Wi-Fi check out machine station at every table.. them little machines don't give out receipts so we walked up to the clerk and asked if we can get a receipt and the girl LOL says to us YOU WANT A RECEIPT?? This was outside dining BTW! I looked at my wife looked at her and said nah forget about it and we walked away LOL I said to my wife did we just step into the twilight zone. I am very satisfied with the services and the food. I have been to this establishment four times already and have no complaints. Come early around 3pm when there is barely customers. My previous visits and today remain consistent. It has this smell that seem to be staple of any red lobster joint just like the one in Queens Mall, New York. I would recommend this place. read more

Let me start by saying that this was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had at a restaurant... My waiters name was Chad and he was the rudest, laziest, and most inappropriate waiter I have ever had. He had the nerve to hand me the bill with the words "tip not included" & then the 20% tip price HIGHLIGHTED!(see photo attached)...I was stunned as that was completely inappropriate to do to a customer. Never have I EVER had a waiter have the nerve to highlight that the tip is not included and to demand me to pay the 20% tip price. That is the decision of the customer not the waiter...I was so angry. He also made it a point to mention multiple times that the restaurant was "closing up". He rushed us and made us feel as if we were bothering him with every request. As we were ordering he kept interrupting us to tell us to order the lobster fest dinner, even though we told him we didn't like lobster. He just wanted us to spend more money so when he demanded his 20% tip it would be more money. He made me feel so uncomfortable the entire time and I had to ask him multiple times over for things. We had to practically beg for more biscuits and at one point we're told that "they were closing up so he had to see if they even had more" but then we saw the person next to us get a basket full. I really don't know what his issue was but the behavior was just not right. I won't go back here because I am fearful he will be my waiter again. Truly horrible service. I went out with my Mom to Red Lobster. We did not have a wait and was seated right away. Our server, Justin, was great. He greeted us promptly with biscuits and was very courteous. Not too long after we ordered, our salad and appetizer came out. When our main course came out, everything was just as we ordered. I ordered the Ultimate Feast and she had the shrimp linguini with a side of asparagus. Justin checked on us multiple times to make sure that we were doing ok. All was good except the lobster tail that I had and the crab legs. The lobster was a little overcooked which made it a little dry and chewy. The crab legs were missing a leg. It's a chain, so you probably know what to expect when you come here. My parents always liked this location (not sure why, as maneuvering your way in and out of Rt. 46, especially during high volume traffic hours, can be a nightmare), and especially their cheese biscuits (I think that's what they're called). In recent years, though, the portion size has decreased markedly, prices have increased (no big surprise), and the cheese biscuits (if that's what they're called) seem tasteless and doughy now. So, I ordered TO GO online. Scheduled for a 6pm pick up on a Sunday, did this around 3pm same day. When I arrived at 5:55, I was told TO GO was at the bar. Well, there are a lot of people sitting at the bar so you have to be aggressive and elbow your way in to be seen by bartender. She told me she would go check on my order. At 6:15 I started to get annoyed, eventually demanded to see a manager. With her assist, I finally got my order around 6;25, not acceptable to me. She apologized but did not offer any compensation what so ever. Not the best Red Lobster that I have been to. Ordered lobster and shrimp combo over rice. Lobster was acceptable. The shrimp were basically tasteless. The shrimp scampi had no taste except for the garlic. The shrimp skewers had no taste at all. Ordered an apple crostada for desert. Haven't had Red Lobster in years decided to go and enjoy myself. The wait was medial however the service and food was horrible. Ordered the lobster dip with chips: chips were extremely oily , under cooked and soft. I also also ordered fried shrimp , shrimp scampi and a lobster tail. The fried shrimp were soggy , the shrimp scampi was dry and the lobster came in pieces very well done and chewy. The food was not good, on top of not even getting the salad that comes with the meal. Went to red lobster with my husband and he ordered the lobster on lobster and I ordered the wood fired grilled lobster, shrimp, and scallops. The meals came with two sides and a salad. We also ordered the cocoanut shrimp appetizer. The service was good but the food was not. The lobster on lobster had very tiny pieces of lobster and the sauce was very disappointing. The meat in the lobster tails were about two inches long and thin. The grilled food was just okay. Very bland. The cocoanut shrimp was pretty good. But overall, not a very enjoyable experience. After all these years, deep frying and buttering is still Red Lobster's signature style for preparing seafood. Like all fast foods, Red Lobster always sounds like a good idea until after you eat it. As a kid my parents used to take us to the Lobster on special occasions and needless to say we were excited to chow on french fries and deep fried deliciousness to switch up with mom's daily home cooking over steamed rice. (how foolish we were!) It was my little brother's 28th birthday today and we decided to hit the Lobster for old times sake since our parents have long gone to the motherland. We knew the decision was foolish, but memories of their appetizing buttered, garlic rolls finalized the decision. Remember the free rolls they put on the table with our salad? Mom used to have us ask the waitress for more rolls that she would later have 'doggie bagged'. Whatever didn't fit in the foam boxes, mom used to wrap up in napkins and put it in her purse. The rolls are that good. One time we went through five baskets of rolls!! Since my last visit many moons ago the interior got bigger, the service a bit faster, salads smaller and an entire bar area has replaced most of the lobby space where they used to have pac-man machines the kids used to fight over. After our double servings of rolls and salad and a few stabs at our Fried Seafood Platter and Admiral's Feast we had to call it quits before our hearts did. With that we got refills of our sodas just because we could (mom used to only allow us one glass of soda so we had to ration it to the end of the meal). I am writing this because I am beyond disgusted with the service I received from the Red Lobster location on Rt. 46 in Wayne NJ. Firstly I do truly understand that it was a holiday(Mothers Day) and it can be busier than usual. However, I placed my order online at 7pm for a 8:45 pick up window. I got the the resturant at 8:45 and called the number posted on the sign. I got through to a girl who told me my food would be ready in 10 mins. Ok no problem that truly fine(noting that I did place my order ahead by 1 hour and 45 min.) I waited till 9 pm to call again and ask if I order was ready. The guy on the phone this time told me it's not ready, I asked ok how much longer? To which he replied I don't know. I said how do you now know when? Please give me a time. He said 15 mins. I said ok I think if its not done I will take a refund bc this is a long wait to sit in the car considering I'm 8 months pregnant. So I now waited till 930 before calling back(15 extra mins past the time he said) I had my husband call back because I was agrivated. He was told that it still was not ready and that when it is done they will bring it out to the car. Food arrived at my car for 9:40, that's 55 mins I waited in the parking lot. I am disgusted and honestly after having had this issue occur don't know if I am willing to return to Red Lobster ever again. I got home 5 mins from picking up the food and the fried dish the Admiral Feast a 20.99 dinner was ice cold. The other food ranged from Luke warm to some things being hot. If it took 55 mins to cook then why is food cold bc you didn't care about my 133.51 dollar order. The lobster bisque was disgusting and I threw it away. The lobster tail was so over cooked I had difficulty cutting it apart with a knife, I've never needed a knife to cut up lobster. The pasta was cold, the biscuits were cold. The mash potatoes were hot but the sauce was nasty and watery. The best thing I had were the brussel sprouts and my husband's green beans. This is so unacceptable and Darden should be ashamed. This is actually only my third time ever in a Red Lobster restaurant. What can I say, I am a total seafood snob with deep roots in New England. Spoiled when it comes to all kinds of seafood especially Lobster! The service was good, let me rephrase that a bit too good. The waiter was either very new and trying to appease us or seasoned in being a pain in the arse after about the 30th "how is ...?" It was quite annoying as he was interrupting our meal to ask how it was, was it good etc. I ordered on the cheap side Fish and chips with a side of grilled squash and a garden salad with the house vinaigrette. The salad dressing had a bit of bite to it but otherwise the salad was pretty good. My entree arrived without guess this...without the chips(fries)! That was brought over as soon as I mentioned it. My entree consisted of a large filet of cod cooked nice except for one very small area in the thickest part that could have been cooked just a bit more. The side dish was good although accompanied with what seemed to be too much oil. The tarter sauce was different but good. I had to wait for a manager to find the malt vinegar and by then my fries had cooled. Overall it was what was expected at a chain seafood restaurant with the exception of the Bonefish Grill. Ultimate feast not so ultimate, higher price $$$ meal with out the quality of food. My snow crab legs were so short and small, I thought the fishermen should have thrown that crab back in to the sea so it could grow into adulthood. Oh, and to make matters worse they were cold. My husband ordered the same meal and he got an adult size snow crab. When serving the same meal to the same table, they should be the same size. This was my first Red Lobster chain experience. There seemed seem be more activity at 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon here than other eateries I've been to. I've never eaten crab before so I ordered the Crabmeat Linguini lunch portion. The Supreme version was offered with crab legs but I wanted to start small. I'm not a big fan of salad but it came with a side of it. Diana brought me my meal and non-alcoholic beverage and often checked in on me. I returned the bread since there was simply too much food. Must be a default because it still said this when we arrived and turned out to be a 30m wait, okay...fine. Our table was not wiped down, had to ask the waiter to please wipe down the table...crumbs on the seats/table-disgusting.salad was dry. I got the "Ultimate Fest"&& the wild rice was hard , shrimp were rubbery, lobster tail was overcooked and crab legs were okay. Biscuits and my crisp water were the best part. I am new to the area, moved here a couple of months ago. I had to return a shirt to Macy's to I decided to check out Willowbrook Mall. I see there's a Red Lobster nearby. I haven't been to Red Lobster in over a year! The thought of biscuits and seafood was very appealing. I was seated in a booth by the bar and was ignored for a good ten minutes. There was a group of 4 employees hanging out in the bar so I stood and said I was waiting to order. The manager came to apologize and a very kind waitress came and took my order. The food was delicious. As I'm eating I hear people behind me, I look and see 4-5 employees hanging out in the area right behind me. This is their station were they put the cutlery and napkins together. The were at least 6 empty booths so I just couldn't understand why I would be seated there. Because of social distancing, that booth should not be used at all. I found it so ironic that I was ignored and now they're on top of me! I quickly paid on the device at the table and put my coat on, the waitress came over and I told her my concerns about no social distancing and ask her for a box for leftovers. She offered to move me. But I was so ready to leave, I was there for about 40 min. The manager caught me on the way out. He was very kind and receptive to my concerns. I think the staff has gotten used to being bored and have forgotten their main purpose for being there. He gave me two coupons and when I looked at them in my car, I had another laugh! One is a discount for two diners. Well, I won't be using that as I just moved here and don't know anyone. The other was a discount off of $30 of takeout. As a single woman, probably won't be using that one either. This industry needs to be more considerate to the solo diner. I won't be going back to this location. read more

The biscuits never disappoint! I ordered the wood-frilled lobster, shrimp, and salmon for $30 and it was very fresh. For the sides I got broccoli and asparagus. It also came with a salad. Hearing all the food I ordered it sounds like a lot but it was not and I left not hungry but not full. The salmon was cooked good but was half the size of a normal filet. The lobster was a bit over cooked and therefore rubbery. The shrimp were good but there was only four of them. Our waiter Jason was really nice and friendly. read more

This is arguably the worst service I've had in a long time. We were seated immediately but no one stopped by our table to offer drinks or take our order. Didn't even get someone to check on our status. Servers were lounging around and goofing off while we waited like idiots. Restaurant had an odor and menus were sticky/greasy. After 10 mins, we notified the usher and left but not before we got a "have a good night". Thanks for the awful experience! Won't be back and neither will anyone I know. read more

From the minute we sat down it was very cold in the restaurant. Complained to manger and they did nothing to address the issue. My wife along with other patrons of the restaurant had to leave their coats on while they dined. The waitress was not attentive at all to even the most basic needs that should have been taken care of. I was skeptical on the quality of the food given the fact that is a chain but I was pleasantly surprised. The cheddar biscuits are great. I got the Salmon New Orleans with a ceasar salad, green beans and french fries, The salad was good and had the perfect amount of dressing although some veggies in it would have been nice, As for the main meal he fries were good(although not anything special) and the green beans were cooked perfectly, nice and crunchy . The shrimp that topped the Salmon were very tasty with the sauce they use. However the salmon itself was bland and could have used a little more sauce or some kind of seasoning(only about a 1/3 of the salmon had any sauce on it.) read more
