Our first time at this place and we could tell it was popular with the line stretching out of the door. No reservations so it is first come first serve. There was a 25 minute wait when we arrived. They take your cell number and text when your table is ready. Our server was so amazing. With my food allergies she went above and beyond to make sure that I understood their procedures and that my food was safe. I really appreciate the extra effort she took to make me feel comfortable. The food was delicious and service was great. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday evening but that did not detract from the service. The booth seating was so spacious. We look forward to coming back.

I'm absolutely a fan of the Tommy's chain of restaurants, especially thanks to the gluten-free and vegetarian menu options. From cauliflower crusts to Impossible patties, I never have an issue finding something to order while I'm there. The Wayne location is conveniently located in its own section near other major stores, there's always plenty of parking. It can be a little challenging to get a table depending on the time of day since they don't offer reservations. Every time I have visited this location, I've received amazing and friendly service. The cocktails are always great, and the food is even better. My orders have always been correct and prompt, and I appreciate the value of seamless dining experiences. This Tommy's gets two thumbs up from me.

I come to this place at least twice a year. The wings are pretty good, but the drinks, dumplings, pizza and steak salad are all excellent! Service is very good too and they always have some specials or special seasonal event going on. Case in point I just had a delicious braised short rib and chocolate Manhattan as part of their winter special menu. In a couple of weeks, they'll be releasing their special Saint Patty's Day menu (3/13-3/17/2026) I highly recommend Tommy's out here!

Tommy's is always a hit! Their portions are absolutely huge and overall pretty decently priced as well. The penne vodka has a little kick to it and is seasoned to perfection. The Caesar salad was super tasty as well! We also got a kids cheese pizza and it was pretty big for a kids meal. Overall, 10/10 experience. Will be returning to try their football specials!

Kung Pao Chicken Dumplins - Pan-fried dumplings with scallions, crispy onions & chili oil, with ponzu sauce

Tommy's Tavern + Tap in Wayne, NJ on a lively September evening turned out to be a flavorful stop worth noting. Walking into the restaurant, the first impression was the buzz of energy--a mix of family diners, groups of friends, and couples catching up over drinks. The décor struck a balance between polished tavern charm and modern casual dining, with warm wood tones, industrial lighting, and just enough background music to set the vibe without being overwhelming. We kicked things off with the Kung Pao Chicken Dumplins. Pan-fried to a perfect golden crisp, they arrived sprinkled with scallions and topped with a delightful crunch of crispy onions. The drizzle of chili oil added a subtle kick that paired beautifully with the tangy, umami depth of the ponzu sauce. These dumplings didn't just serve as an appetizer--they set the tone for the rest of the meal, balancing comfort with a playful punch of flavor. For mains, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich was a standout in its own right. The creamy pesto was the hero of the dish, rich but not overwhelming, harmonizing with the roasted red pepper's sweetness and the cool, soft bite of fresh mozzarella. All of this was held together by ciabatta bread that had just enough chew to give it substance without overshadowing the filling. The side of fries was classic and crispy, a reliable partner to the sandwich. The Shrimp Wrap offered something a bit lighter but equally satisfying. The shrimp were tender and fresh, complemented by avocado's buttery texture, crisp lettuce, and tomato that added brightness. The chipotle mayo tied everything together with a smoky creaminess that elevated what could have been an ordinary wrap into something memorable. Again, the fries were a safe, crunchy constant on the plate. Service was attentive without being intrusive--the staff checked in at just the right intervals, making sure drinks were topped off and plates were cleared smoothly. The pacing of the meal allowed us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. At the end of the evening, Tommy's Tavern + Tap delivered on its promise: approachable tavern fare with an elevated twist, in a fun and bustling atmosphere. It wasn't without the occasional background noise of a busy dining room, but that was part of the experience--it felt alive, warm, and welcoming. Solid food, creative twists on classics, and a lively environment make this spot a dependable choice for casual dining with a bit of flair.

Ate here after an appetite-stimulating hike up Pyramid Mountain. Music was way too loud, could barely communicate with the waiter or hold a conversation. Overall, the food was good and prices were typical. The sesame crusted ahi tuna salad was excellent. Brisket sandwiches were good. And the waiter was attentive and pleasant.

As an avid guest at the Tommy's location in Clifton, I was psyched to see that they were opening a new location closer to home. The new restaurant is located in Wayne on the outside perimeter of the Willowbrook Mall. It's the old TGIF location which is easily accessible from 46 and 23. This new location is a big restaurant with a full bar, tables and booths throughout. They also have an outside patio but it was WAY too hot yesterday to sit out there. Same menu so you can expect consistency. Their menu is very extensive from burgers to salads, pizza and even sushi. Yes, sushi! I normally wouldn't trust a place with so many different items on the menu but their sushi is great. For dinner, we ordered the smashed potatoes side I imagined it would be like a Boxty, but it wasn't. It was like mini baked potatoes - I can't complain! We also got the Hot Honey Roni which is my favorite pizza on their menu. The Hot Honey Roni has mini pepperoni cups along with mozz and a sesame seeded crust. Who knew a sesame crust on pizza could be so good?! I'll definitely be back here since they're so close to home for me!

I am surprised that a chain restaurant was so good. Service was fast. Server was very friendly. Food was great. Ordered a meatloaf sandwich. Made with caramelized onions on buttered toasted sourdough bread. Comes with dipping gravy and one side.Overall one of the better places in the area. Will be back.

Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Located on the site of the former TGI Fridays. The service was quick and the food was fab. I got the flatbread with meatballs and my son got a burger. Both were really fresh and delish. We will def be back !

I've never been to a Tommy's and ended up there after the movies, the ambiance of the place is interesting there is no windows looking outside but it's decorated so good that you don't notice. It definitely is good for catching up with friends and impromptu drop by. The food was great and the drinks were all reasonably price which is hard to find. The staff was super nice and our waiter was such a delight.

Everything was great. Relaxed atmosphere, good food (including the sushi which I won't say is the best but it was surprisingly good!). The burger was juicy and the tuna tartar was very good (bland though for anyone that wants different flavors.)

I had my back to the bar, but from what I was able to see this is a very cozy place. Service was quick and attentive, and we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy a pleasant time chatting. Drinks: the black walnut Manhattan, Fig jam old fashioned, wine , beer and port. Drinks were all excellent, i tasted the Manhattan and enjoyed it over the Fig Jam. For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. I ate it and enjoyed it, but not the best I've had. My husband ordered the key Lime Pie happy that it did not include nuts in the crust as some do, he thought it was good. Overall we had an enjoyable albeit pricy meal with good service. I would come back if other's wanted to go but it would not be my go to place.

The place is very cute inside with different seating areas, multiple bars and a closed in outdoor patio with heaters which is where my friends and I partied the night away. We arrived around 10 pm and the place was mostly empty, but as the hours passed, the place got packed! We attended on a Latin night and I actually loved the good mix of music - it was mostly Spanish music, but not all. I really liked how we did not have to pay for bottle service for a table, because most other places require it in order to have a seat or table. The drinks are fairly priced, however, the hookah was a whopping $42. So we opted out of that. Maybe that's how much the price is now but I remember back in the day paying $25 for a hookah. I had a great night out and definitely will return. Thank you for a great night, 46 Lounge!

Being used to places like Illusions at the Sheraton Mahwah as well as the Limelight and Webster Hall, the NYE advertisement made it far larger than it actually is. Paid $100 for open bar and buffet - which is super reasonable but we would have preferred a table but none were available. Getting drinks throughout the night was not a problem - always prompt and friendly. The buffet was actually quite good which included jumbo shrimp, sushi, Spanish food , Italian, and lots of appetizers which were pretty good. In the beginning, we thought it was a bad idea coming as it was quite empty at 8pm. By 10:30, it was quite busy and at 11:30, packed to the limit. They served midnight champagne, party favors, and were quite well staffed. The BIG issues.... It was open bar. So I probably had at least 12-15 drinks. I would be normally plastered for drinking so much (and I don't normally drink very much). I just wanted a slight buzz so that I would enjoy the constant dancing. I always saw them pour at least 1 shot of alcohol per drink. I wasn't even slightly buzzed or drunk for that matter. Leads me to believe they watered down the bottles. I can't prove anything but the fact we drank so much all night with no effects leads me to wonder. Second, with hundreds of people and 1 women's bathroom with 2 stalls, my wife was was holding it in instead of waiting for a 30 minute + line. In the end, we did enjoy the NYE party very much. $100 is pretty reasonable but with alcohol issues, I would skip the place if that is important yo you.

When we arrived (around 7pm) there was only one occupied table in the restaurant. The room was cold and drafty, as if they were trying to save money on the heating. We had to change tables twice trying to avoid the chill which was forcing my mother to keep her winter coat on. On our first visit, the breadbasket included some delicious garlic bread. That was gone this time. Previously, the staff immediately set out an ice bucket and glasses when they saw our bottle of white wine. This time we had to ask for both, twice. Throughout the meal, we watched our waiter standing in the doorway to the kitchen engrossed in whatever he was doing with his cell phone. Given that the restaurant was virtually empty, the fact that we couldn't get his attention when we started to have issues was frustrating. I chose the Calamari Chino again as an appetizer. I enjoyed it so much on our first visit that it was the one thing I knew I wanted again. Unfortunately, I ended up sending it back. Although it looked like the same dish at first glance, the crispy and tender calamari I loved the first time was now soggy and rubbery. My mother again went with the Grilled Norwegian Salmon, which she enjoyed. My father had the Paccheri & Shrimp alla Vodka, which is described on the menu as sautéed wild shrimp, over paccheri pasta with a creamy vodka sauce, oyster mushrooms, & green peas. He wasn't a fan of this. It seemed to be missing both the oyster mushrooms, & the green peas. He also described it as being "goopy" and thought it tasted artificially thickened in some way. I ordered the New Coconut Jumbo Shrimp, which is served with grilled asparagus, white rice, in an orange marmalade sauce. I had high hopes for this since coconut shrimp is a favorite of mine. The presentation was quite nice, but the shrimp was overcooked, and the coconut coating was nearly burnt. I believe it had been left in the deep fryer too long. Frankly, if I had not sent back the calamari I would have sent this back as well. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant still looks nice, but it seems like they're just going through the motions now. I don't see us returning.
