This a go to place for happy hour. I love the variety in the half apps menu and discounted drink. You can do some serious chowing with $20! Service is always quick and top notch. I really enjoy sitting at the bar. Good food, great vibes, cold drinks - no complaints!

09/25/2025 Always enjoy coming here, if it's not too crowded. Since we'd caught 'happy hour' and decided to just munch on a few apps. The Poke nachos (amazing as always)... blackened Ahi sashimi, an order of chicken lettuce wrap, and some spicy hummus. All very good. TONS of amazing beers along with mixed drinks and even wine can be had as you watch your favorite sport show.

Quick review. Pros : Impressive, very well organized beer list. Better than average food for a big box chain restaurant. Nice selection of junk as well as relatively heathy options. Prices actually are pretty fair overall. Plus, they have some really good deals on apps and drinks during happy hour. Very large bar and dining area with spacious comfortable booths. A good place to watch your favorite game. Cons : Dining area is a bit on the dark side with very loud music pumping which makes it difficult to have a conversation. We ordered the following... Apps : Poke Nachos - Three Stars Brussel Sprouts - Four Stars Main : Kale Caesar Salad w/ Grilled Chicken - Four Stars The service was fast and friendly. They also provide tablets on the tables which makes ordering additional apps and rounds a breeze. Pretty decent experience overall. I would go back to the Yard House and probably will at some point.

Usually Yard House and myself are not the best of friends. I was first introduced in Georgia at Truist Park (who remembers the Strawberry Fields drink...they need to bring it back) but moving back home Yard House was a disappointment. I t wasn't until recent Tik Tok videos that it peaked my interest to give it another try. Needless to say, I had not been to Yard House in over 3 years Yeah I was over it But on September 6, 2025, it was a different story I hopped over to Willowbrook Mall (hadn't been there in over a decade) just to grab lunch and ended up spending hours at the Yard House bar enjoying a good meal On deck I started with a Malibu Peach (cruzan pineapple rum, skyy infusions cherry vodka, dekuyper peachtree & island such, citrus agave) hit the spot. I wasn't interested in any appetizers, but this drink sneaks up on you Trust I had a few Meal of choice: A Korean Ribeye (sweet soy ginger marinated 20 oz bone-in ribeye with a Grilled Shrimp Skewer and Crispy Brussel Sprouts (gochujang sauce, crispy garlic, malt vinegar aioli dip). The sprouts replaced the chili garlic fries that come with green onions, parmesan and crispy garlic. Plus I needed veggies :-) When I tell you I tore that meal up ... I tore that meal up!!! It was worth every penny and I took every piece of meat off the bone...it has a slight sweetness paired with the Brussel sprouts ... but its not overpowering...the shrimp are tender and they made sure not to over cook them... the portions are not small but I had no leftovers LOL...I was tempted to order something to go but decided it was in my best interest not to I was enjoying the food coming out fresh and hot...so I decided to sit for a little while longer and top my meal off with a Pink Dragon ( esopolon reposado tequila, grand marnier, dragon fruit agave, pink Himalayan salt) and Bread Pudding My Pink Dragon had to be made with sugar on the rim (trust me you will love it that way) and the bread pudding with creme anglaise, vanilla and caramel sauces, vanilla ice cream and powdered sugar. I opted out for no ice cream, extra sauce and the presentation was beautiful but it came out lukewarm but still delicious Overall, I had a wonderful meal, time and service compared to the last time I had stepped foot into a Yard House. They have sparked my interest back into Yard House I suggest you give it a try ;-)

Went here for a late lunch during the work week. Nice restaurant Great seating options Huge bar with a million taps and strong beer list Clean Excellent service Tasty food We got the Brussels sprouts for starters Then 2 salads - Caesar and ahi tuna Penne vodka with salmon Korean bbq cheesesteak with truffle fries Wine Shiner Holiday cheer - nice to have it on draft since I typically only have it bottled. 5/5 would do it again

The drinks were okay and a bit lacking had little to no flavors available at the time. The food was overall really good except for the steak bowl the steak was tough although it looks like a plate full of steak it was just a layer of steak with ton of veggies directly under fluffing up the plate. Service was okay but a bit slow had to ask several times for utensils and napkins. Overall the ambience was nice would definitely go back for the food not so much for the experience.

Korean Ribeye

I'm not sure why I am just now learning about Yard House, but I can't wait to go back. I will return strictly for the Korean ribeye (from the menu: sweet soy ginger marinated 20oz bone-in ribeye, chili garlic fries, green onions, parmesan, crispy garlic). I did coward out on the chili garlic fries and requested their regular fries instead which were still very good. The Wayne location is located just outside of Willowbrook Mall. The wait wasn't anything too crazy, maybe 15 minutes. We decided to sit outside on the patio which made for a nice, maybe more quiet, experience. I have been thinking about this ribeye ever since our visit. It was uniquely flavored and very tender, cooked medium as requested. It had a nice char on the surface but remained very tender. Delicious! Until next time.

Pretty cool place. Lots of beer on tap. The bartenders were very attentive and pretty cool. I love their poke bowl. Very filling and very fresh. Came here for lunch. They have happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. Half price for most things. I'll come back.

PROS: This place was very nice! its huge, many tvs, nice staff, good food, electronic tablet payments, loads of parking, menu variety plentiful CONS: It takes a while for the wait staff to get your drink orders OVERALL: I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area, especially to watch sports

Julie P.

Stopped in for a quick drink and app and was greeted with the best service. Our bartenders were skilled and knowledgeable in their craft! If you're looking for a refreshing cocktail their passion fruit spritz is awesome! Their buffalo wings are spiced to perfection and they maintain a clean atmosphere!

Our waitress was fantastic. She should be at a higher end place. Unfortunately that was the highlight. The food was meh overall. Oh well.

Yard House is always pretty solid and consistent. And this location is no different. My biggest issue is how LOUD this location always is. I stopped in while visiting my family twice in the last year and both times was extremely loud- once on a Sunday afternoon and once on a weekday during happy hour. There were no games going on to heighten how loud it was. The food is pretty consistent and tasty- which is what brings me back every time. Happy hour is very much worth it as my girlfriends and I were able to split 3 apps and a couple drinks which were more than enough for us. I want to say it was about $25 pp.

Veggie Heaven is a gem for anyone craving classic Chinese dishes with a fully vegan twist. The menu…read moredoes an impressive job recreating traditional favorites--everything from General Tso's "chicken" to dumplings and lo mein--without sacrificing flavor or texture. Even as someone who isn't strictly vegan, it's easy to appreciate how well they execute these plant-based versions. The variety is a huge plus, and it's clear a lot of thought goes into balancing taste and authenticity. Some dishes truly stand out and could easily rival their non-vegan counterparts, which makes it a fun and satisfying experience whether you're plant-based or just exploring. That said, while most items hit the mark, a few dishes can lean a bit heavy or slightly one-note in flavor. Nothing that ruins the meal, but enough to keep it just shy of a perfect score. Overall, Veggie Heaven is a go-to spot in Montclair for delicious, creative vegan Chinese food that proves you don't need meat to enjoy the classics.

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating the menu. Employees may refer to Rib Tips as Spare Ribs. The flavor, in my opinion, between the Vegan and Non-Vegan Rib Tips, are the same. There is no bone or cartilage in the Vegan Rib Tips though the harder texture (of bone/cartilage) is possible to attain if one eats the meal at a latter time (without reheating though without refrigerating). The Vegan Rib Tips are so delicious; more sweet than savory, chewy though not gum, and offering a wonderfully satisfying flavor. The Calamari is so good; more savory than sweet, tastes like Non-Vegan Calamari more so in the aftertaste though like Calamari (87%) and Shrimp (13%) in the beginning ànd middle taste, the crisp is light, not heavy on my stomach, what a wonderfully satisfying combination. The Mixed Vegetable Soup is like Hot Vegetable-Infused Water, very soothing to sip within bites of the Calamari and Rib Tips. The Mixed Vegetable Soup is like a tea of the meal, good at any time warm. I find the meal so good, I intentionally save about half to eat with a dinner portion of home cooking. Good Vibes. The establishment accepts different forms of payments. The establishment has a variety of seating options.

I chose romaine with chopped egg, avocado, buffalo chicken, mandarin oranges, & roasted cauliflower with balsalmic vinaigrette dressing mixed in. Everything was fresh & very tasty and the portion was quite filling. My friend chose a salad off the menu, which was also made on the spot, and she was able to choose an alternate dressing to her liking. This fast casual choice hit the spot today and fueled us well & comfortably to enjoy some post lunch shopping.

The service was alright-- they weren't the friendliest but they were doing their job. I ordered the mandarin chicken salad. It had oriental sesame dressing which was very sweet, but good. However, at one point it got a bit too sweet which made the salad hard to finish. The chicken tasted alright, nothing about it stood out to me. Something in the salad also tasted a bit fishy-- not sure if it was the dressing or any of the toppings. I don't like the taste of seafood so I was not a huge fan of the taste. The overall salad was just average and wasn't special in any way. I'm not sure if I'll come back. Although the portions are big, I am still paying $10 for pretty average salad.

The dashi course was savory, rich and tempered well with the pickled spring vegetables, which kept the dish from being too heavy. The rye bread was pillowy and warm. The salted butter the perfect complement. For my first course I chose the beef carpaccio. It may have been my favorite dish of the evening. The beef was sliced perfectly, the salted crackled pork eaten with the beef and aioli were a lovely mouthful of textures and rounded flavor. The next course was a beet salad. The golden beets were just tender while still firm. For my main, I selected the Parisian gnocchi with truffle sauce. If I could have eaten all of the sauce with a straw I would have. The gnocchi texture had a nice slight crisp but the potato filling was a tiny bit overdone. The dish was very rich but somehow a bit fluffy. For dessert we tried both the rice pudding and the sorbet with chocolate ganache. The sorbet was a bit tart which went perfectly with the dark chocolate ganache. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and knowledge. Sam's mom came to wish my brother a happy birthday which was a nice touch. The green velvet channeled seating was comfy and lush looking. Also, the chef does not know how to make a batura. I have complained about this before. What they serve for a bhatuta is just a puri that was rolled out bigger to look like a batura. Traditional batura is a bread made out of white flour and fermented with yeast. It has bubbles in it like bread. I wish they corrected this.

I was incredibly keen to try A2B Indian Restaurant after hearing numerous glowing reviews,…read moreincluding a stellar 4.8-star rating from 7.4k reviews and a passionate recommendation from my fiancé's South Indian friend claiming they have the best masala dosas in the state. Given the difficulty of getting a reservation at my current favorite, Semma, this was meant to be my new go-to. Unfortunately, my Saturday evening experience was an overall big letdown. We arrived to a packed restaurant, with the parking lot at capacity, which certainly spoke to A2B's popularity. The interior was spacious, offering plenty of booths and tables, yet it was still quite full. We were seated quickly after a short 5-minute wait. However, once we sat down, the waiting game began. There was an iPad on the table with the menu, but we couldn't place the order ourselves. After nearly 15 minutes had passed with no server approaching, we finally flagged someone down. When the waiter did arrive, they offered no introduction and simply asked for our order before taking the iPad and leaving. For drinks, the Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi (made with pulp, not fresh mangoes) were both good; no complaints there. We ordered the main event, two Mysore Masala Dosas with the potato masala on the side. The food came out alarmingly fast, within like three minutes, which immediately made me suspicious. How the food was presented was perhaps the most jarring part of the experience, the small separate dishes for the potato masala and the chutneys were placed directly on top of my dosa! That's not hygienic at all, and to have serving dishes underside directly contacting the food was a bad look and presentation. Beyond the questionable presentation, the quality of the dosa was deeply disappointing. It was soggy and not crispy whatsoever. The speed suggested it was possibly pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the sambar, which was genuinely good, almost as good as my mom makes it. Given this experience, I completely lost interest in trying the Palak Paneer or Malai Kofta I had initially planned on. We finished with the Pista Kulfi for dessert, which was just okay, with a heavy taste of cardamom that you'll love only if you're a big fan of that spice. While we were there, another family in front of us complained to the manager about the service, but the manager looked like he didn't care since business is booming for the restaurant. I wouldn't come back here again; there are much better spots for dosas and vegetarian Indian food. This was an overall disappointing experience.
