Pass this on a regular basis, figured let me try it out. Only positives was the chicken was hot (temperature wise) & the broccoli was decent. Besides that, not worth the $19.25 for half a chicken with two sides. No flavor, I mean besides the little bit of spices added to the skin, the chicken itself had no flavor. Chicken was fresh, so fresh it still had two feathers attached to it. Sweet potato mashed was ok, but not good. Place looks & feels tired, sorta like they're giving up. Wont be going back. It's average all the way around. I'm being generous with 3 stars.

Another new lunch stop!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised today when I stopped in at Fire Roasted for lunch. There's not a lot to the restaurant, just a line to order and a few tables. Ordering is somewhat similar to Boston Market where you order chicken and a couple of sides. I wound up ordering a crispy chicken sandwich, but the sides with the chicken (especially the Mac & cheese) looked very good...next time! When I first saw the sandwich my reaction was that it was pretty small for $6+, however, once I started eating, I found it was packed with delicious chicken! Loved the pickles on the sandwich too! The restaurant is located in a convenient shopping center with plenty of parking. Service was friendly. I'll definitely be back!

First time here. Grubhubbed tonight and was pretty good. I got a chicken wrap with avocado which was hot & fresh. Had sides of macaroni and cheese along with garlic potatoes. Ordered creamed spinach but was out. With a cucumber salad side and nice size chocolate chip cookie. Will definitely go back again.

FIRE is a decent place to get standard American fare for a good price. The food is either delicious or average, and the meat options are quite good. We dined in for lunch and tried the 1/4 chicken dark with cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes, the waffle fries, and the 6 ribs with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Waffle fries are fine, but the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese are nothing more than mediocre and bland. The chicken was good, and the ribs are flavorful but fatty. (My dining partner liked this about them, though.) Corn bread was fantastic, and the cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes are both fantastic sides - I'd highly recommend them. The place is great for a bite for very good prices. Menu has quite the variety, so it's worth stopping by if you're close.

Pulled pork sandwich

WOW!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!! The pulled pork sandwich I had was as tiny as junior burger from Wendy's, but with tax it cost more than 10$, no sides, no chips, not even a lousy slice of pickle. Had to wait for almost 10min for a fast food sandwich on the burger buns. The service was not good and the flavor was not great. I wouldn't recommend it.

Moldy cauliflower

Ordered delivery through Yelp for lunch. We only live about 5 minutes away but somehow this delivery took over an hour. We ordered spicy chicken sandwiches which were decent; breaded chicken which seemed soaked in buffalo sauce, with a nice potato bun. The corn bread we ordered felt like it just came out of the freezer or a very cold fridge. Ordered a side of steamed vegetables, which were 90% raw still, which included what looks like cauliflower with spots of mold on it. Mac and cheese was decent as well, but tasted similar to what you'd get in a box. We've previously ordered from here in person, as well as through Uber Eats, for dinner and had no issues and really loved the food. (5 stars both times). Not sure what happened with today's order...

It was good, but nothing special. If there isn't a Boston Market local to you-- this will do.

The ribs (Pen's House Ribs) were fall-off-the-bone tender with a flavor that hit all the sweet and savory notes.  The sauce is perfection, but they stand alone without it too!   The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy with a panko crunch, the green beans were seasoned beautifully, and the rice and beans were full of flavor and cooked to perfection.  All of them complemented the chicken and ribs very nicely, and together with the BBQ it was the perfect amount of food for our family of 5 (though I could have eaten the chicken and ribs forever). And let's talk about the delivery, because that can make or break any meal, especially BBQ -- not only was it on time, but it was hand-delivered with care, arriving at the perfect temperature like it just came out of the kitchen. Every bite tasted fresh and made-to-order. You can taste the love and craft in every dish. Pendragon's Smokehouse is a must-try - absolutely soul-satisfying food -- and we can't wait to order again!

We also shared their signature sliders with fries. The pork burger was extremely juicy and flavorful, and the fries were so crispy. And we also had their chicken fried rice. Wow it was savory. My bf doesn't really like rice but he kept eating the rice. That's how savory it was. I'll definitely be back to try new items. I heard their brunch is awesome.

The place is a simpler local eatery, so decor wasn't exactly a designed by some of the best New York interior decorators, but it was pleasant and very calm. The food is a fusion of various Asian cuisines but it is picked very well and cooked to perfection. Kids loved the Baos and Ramen which is probably one of the best indicators of the quality. From what I can tell it is family owned and run, so service may be a little slower than most similar places but it is definitely attentive and friendlier then most.

There is an entrance with a ramp and stairs. I want to say that the workers at Garden State Tavern are the best! Everyone is extremely kind and welcoming. I attended a private event as this location. The room that they have is big, with plenty of windows, and very clean. They allowed us to bring in a band so having our own live music was great! They offered food in buffet style. This included pizza, chicken, and sliders. I would rate the food a 3/5. The staff was very attentive during my time there, always asking if we needed anything else.

However, the service was weak. Don't get me wrong our server was very nice and personable once he "finally" made it to our table. But the overall impression was that they were understaffed, overwhelmed and very disorganized. The appearance of the tavern is essentially unchanged from its predecessor, Brook Tap House. Which really isn't a bad thing. Tastefully appointed with lots of TV's to watch your favorite game. I just wish that they would invest in some sound deadening materials as the dining area can get very loud. I will definitely dine at GST again. Hopefully they can get their service figured out before our next visit.

Also the Mayonnaise too has been reportedly upgraded to a more "Creamier" version. The original Whopper has been around for decades and this is the first time it's ever been served in a box. My tastebuds and I all agree that the new version is clearly an upgrade offering a more enjoyable Burger experience. The new Bun is tasty and firm which holds together nicely throughout the entire session. I've never really been a big fan of mayo on my Burger but for some strange reason it's always worked well on the Whopper. Maybe it's all the Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, and Onions that go along with it but with that being said I do think that the new Creamier Mayo tastes better. Plus the upgraded packaging does keep it from getting squished which used to happen alot especially when larger orders were tossed in the bag. The presentation was a major improvement as well. It now comes in a cardboard box and is half wrapped with BK theme paper for easy handling. The quality of the pattie and toppings, lettuce, onion and tomato seem to have been ungraded a bit as well. Definitely seemed to have a fresher taste than before. This particular location is almost brand new. It's clean, bright and well appointed. The staff is very efficient and personable.
