Under staffed. My steak was supposed to be medium, but came well-done. It tasted almost spoiled. They made me a new steak, but it took so long that we finished all of our food, a couple more drink refills, ad by the time it came, it tasted spoiled, and like it was thawed out in hot water, losing all of its blood. First time eating there and we were really disappointed, our waitress had a larger table and we felt really neglected. The steak was cooked wrong, she took it back to correct it and brought back the side to the table. We waited a while, steak was now charcoaled and very dry plus with a cold side. Glasses empty, no refills and at the end we were literally eating cold food on a table full of dirty dishes that were never picked up. Suggestions: retrain staff to have better service equally to all customers not just bigger parties or add more help to staff. read more

I Really Love the Crab Legs with butter. I used to love their Crab Bisque but I don't see it on the menu anymore. I didn't like the lobster on baked potato(too salty & chewy)/ I also liked the Trout(plain). The one in Thousand Oaks closed & I got it from the valley via DoorDash. I used to get it for my birthday but the food prices have gone up & the long distance delivery fee from DoorDash are a lot higher & There are so many added fees & now they put the increased Tip Rate. I still really Love Red Lobster and hope I can't get it sometime again. I will add that they do add a lot with the delivery ie. The food was great, but the issue we had was that we ordered curb side pick up and it was handled by Grub Hub through Yelp. Dont bother!!!! Call the restaurant directly! They never called us back to tell us our order was ready, and when we called Grub Hub to inquire they didnt help at all and claimed they couldnt reach the Temecula location, Baloney!. So we called the restaurant directly with no problem, and they said the order had been ready for 45 minutes. Recently went for my birthday.. service was great! My food was hot and came out on time.. my drink never went empty same goes for the bread basket. The server was loud and clear and offered new things on the menu. The restaurant was clean especially the bathrooms.. even all the workers worked as a team helping each other were it was needed.I ordered the lobster lovers dream. Three lobster dishes consist of roasted rock lobster tail, butter-poached Maine lobster tail and lobster-and-shrimp linguini in a creamy lobster sauce. Served with melted butter, lemon and choice of two sides. I had French fries and lobster mashed potatoes.. and washed it down with a strawberry lemonade iced tea. We USED TO love this restaurant! NOT anymore! The last few times we've eaten here, we hope it's going to be better. Nope! Yesterday, on Christmas we decided to make it easy and eat out as I had just had a surgery a few days prior and our big Christmas was on Christmas eve. Red lobster was one of the only restaurants open so we crossed our fingers! Unfortunately it was worse than ever! Our server Anthony was great and felt bad about our food but it wasn't his issue. The service was fine! We had also forgotten that every single time we eat there, my daughter gets very I'll! Stomach ache, cramps, in bed all day. Our food was made three different times to correct the mistakes! First, the wrong order on the plate. Second time, wrong seafood. Third time, med/ med, med rare steak was well done. Came back with so much salt we couldn't even eat it! At this point everyone else was finished so we just left it. My other daughter tried to order the clam chowder but it was like water. They were out of food and condiments.... Each time a new plate was brought out, a different manager dropped it without as much as an I'm sorry, can we get anything else for you..... nothing! Didnt even acknowledge it! And they weren't busy! So that's not an excuse! This was the worst experience we've ever had here and will never be back! Now I'm taking care of my sick daughter again! This restaurant needs to reconsider their hiring process and training provided to employees. The hostess is the front face of the establishment. She showed no interest in making sure my party was taken care of. I walked into the restaurant with no other parties waiting. No parties waiting outside or no parties waking inside. I told her the size of our party and she looked at me and told me it would be a wait as they are waiting for a family to leave as they been there almost 2 hours(as she gestured to the table to the left of the hostess stand). We were waiting for that area and that party to leave so that we can be seated. My party waited patiently and we were really surprised that she didn't seat our large party when the table got cleaned up. Thought maybe the waiter or waitress in that area was on break...that was not the case. She sat a smaller party who came after us. When we brought to her attention we'd been waiting, she told us that party was there before us. This is a lie because she would have told me that there were parties ahead of us that put in a reservation when I checked in. My mother-in -law heard the hostess ask this family "is this table alright for you all?" And the female asked to be seated at the table that was promised for our family. And what made our dining out experience amazing was the waitress. Her name is Eileen, and she patiently explained the menu regarding the "Never Ending Shrimp". The food came in a short amount of time and Eileen was the BEST waitress we have ever had. She was very attentive, and when she noticed we were ready for more water, drinks, or food she was right there to take care of us. My boyfriend and I went here on Feb. 27 to celebrate, I had never been before. The waitress Desire was informative and helpful. She was friendly and put our appetizer order in quickly. She was very patient with me when I couldn't decide on what I wanted. We were not charged a split plate fee either which was a nice change. Went to this location for my husbands birthday. Food was okay. Service was the worst we ever experienced. Mario was the waiter. He told us that he was the number one server in the restaurant. Maybe he should have been listening to what was being ordered and not repeating back three different items that were not ordered. Also had to wait 45 minutes for our food to come. Asked for a little extra Alfredo sauce because pasta was on the dry side we were charged 3.99 without anything being said about an additional charge. That took about 20 minutes to come out. Fries were ordered extra crispy didn't come the way they were ordered. Came back with new fries not crispy they were hot just not crispy. Mario asked if they were okay because his manager said that order was for our table. He said sorry I saw that your order had had just come out. But he didn't think to bring the crispy ones to our table. Now comes time for to pay. I had some gift cards that I wanted to use first two were okay third one would not work. Asked Mario to here me he said we don't take that gift card anymore. I said it took the first two okay. He said we have not taken Olive Garden gift cards in over eight years. My sister in law was with us and like I said it was my husbands birthday. She gave him a gift card for Olive Garden and on the back of the card it clearly says it can be used at Red Lobster. First time visiting Red Lobster and all I can say is, WOW! I was greeted instantly by the hostess, Savannah. She was so friendly, kind, and polite.
