She was attentive, funny, kind, had great suggestions and was easy going as I had no idea what I wanted to drink or eat for a while. Service was great, food was what I expected. I have occasionally been going to Red Lobster restaurants around the country over the past 40-50 years and the food has always been about the same. Except for about 5 years or so when Red Lobster completely lost their way. The ambiance was also what I expected from this long established restaurant chain. Music was at a good volume, temperature was good, and no weird odors or fruit flies or anything like that. Lighting levels are comfortable for a relaxing dinner. Price was midrange for this style of restaurant. Again, what I expected. The one thing Red Lobster has going for it is consistency. No surprises either way. I suppose that's a good thing. The one area the Temecula location never seems to get right, and why don't go there more often, is the maintenance and upkeep. It does look like the carpet was cleaned or replaced recently, which was one thing that really turned me off the last time I was there. But, there are still little dis-pleasers here and there. Things not clean or tidy like bathroom fixtures not working, bathrooms that are pretty poor condition, where you look around and ask yourself, when was the last time this place was thoroughly cleaned? Water puddles on the vanity, paper towels strewn all around... Subconsciously wondering if you're not walking out with more germs on your hands after washing them than when you went in. Truly, these restaurants have found a nice little niche and really don't need to re-concept or renovate. Just a few bucks spent on keeping things clean and operating correctly is really all that is needed. It never fails to amaze me how some businesses will try to squeeze a penny by not keeping things clean and well maintained, while bleeding money from lost customers. We got their stuffed mushroom which are really good. My wife got her some of her favs - coconut shrimp with the best coconut cream dipping sauce & scampi with loaded mashed potatoes for the 1st time which she said was really good (she loves their coleslaw). I got the 3 shrimp dinner...the same as above + shrimp linguini with a loaded baked potato. All really good! This is by far our go to best dining place. We drive from Escondido through sucky traffic to Temecula because it's that good. Added plus, the Manager came around to tables asking how everything was. It's a shame you now have to add $3+ if you choose the salad as your side when it used to be free. Come on, Red Lobster -- it's just a salad! Yesterday, I decided to try something new and ordered their seafood boil. I chose the Signature flavor (all the flavors mixed together), and it was okay. I asked for level one spice, and I definitely felt the burn on my tongue and lips for a while. I got two snow crab clusters for around $36. The crab was meaty and cooked perfectly. I absolutely love red lobster, it was a childhood icon. All locations where I live closed down so we drove to Temecula to have a taste of the past. The first time we went was exactly 1 year ago. We were almost the only ones in there yet it took longer than it should've to get our food. The food was great nonetheless, just like I remembered. We had a great time. About an hour and a half later I was violently ill. I swore I'd never go back. A year later I'm back again. Hoping it was a one off and that maybe there is new abd better staff. When I walked back to the bathroom there was an unholy smell coming from bathroom area and what seemed like the carpet. I tried to brave iy anyway but then my table was completely sticky, like juice had been a smeared over the whole table. My waitress was really really nice, I appreciate her greatly. The food however took way too long to come out. After waiting an hour and seeing that two tables that came in before us still didn't have their food, we decided to just leave. I wish they'd put the old favorites back on the menu as well, but I'm sure with this crazy inflation their hands are tied. I'm really sad to have to give this place a 3 star. read more

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service and food quality my wife and I experienced during our visit to your Temecula, California (Store #6313) location on July 12, 2026. Our total bill was $94.59, and unfortunately, our experience was one of the worst we have had at any Red Lobster. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that there would be approximately a 35-minute wait to be seated. While we understand that delays can occur, what was frustrating was that there were numerous empty tables throughout the dining room. The explanation we were given was that the kitchen was backed up. Although we accepted that explanation, it was disappointing to wait so long despite the restaurant appearing to have ample seating available. When we were finally seated, we discovered that both the table and the booth seats were wet, which gave an immediate impression that our table had not been properly prepared before we were seated. I do want to recognize our server, Ashley, who was prompt, courteous, professional, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. She did everything she could to provide good service, and I appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, the food issues began almost immediately. The famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits were served raw and undercooked. When we bit into them, the inside was still doughy and clearly not fully baked. After waiting an additional 36 minutes for our entrées, our meals finally arrived. My wife ordered the Crab Boil with sausage, and I ordered the Salmon with the lobster and shrimp buttery topping, along with a side of rice pilaf. The quality of our meals was extremely disappointing. The sausage in my wife's meal was burnt, dry, and overcooked. My rice pilaf was undercooked and inedible. I brought the issue with my rice to Ashley's attention. She immediately apologized and brought me another serving. Unfortunately, the replacement rice was also undercooked, leaving me with no choice but to substitute asparagus instead. My wife spoke with the manager regarding the overall experience. While he listened to our concerns, his response amounted to little more than a brief apology and an explanation, with his only solution being to remove the charge for the sausage. Considering the number of issues we encountered--including the excessive wait times, the condition of our table, undercooked biscuits, improperly prepared entrées, and overall poor dining experience--this response was completely inadequate. We understand that restaurants occasionally have difficult evenings. However, this experience reflected problems in food preparation, quality control, and management's handling of legitimate customer concerns. In today's economy, families carefully choose when and where to spend nearly $100 for dinner. When customers make that investment, they expect food that is properly prepared, timely service, and management that stands behind its product when expectations are not met. Unfortunately, none of those expectations were fulfilled during our visit. I have enjoyed Red Lobster in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope you will review this incident with the management team at Store #6313 and take the appropriate steps to improve both the quality of the food and the level of customer service provided. Popped in to try to boil bags. Took me back a bit to the hey day of boiling crab in garden grove or Rowling Heights iykyk. The lobster dip was solid, seasoned well. The Diet Pepsi tasted great, really fresh tasting (I'm a Diet Coke kind of guy) Our server was fantastic. We got the bag with lobster l, shrimp and crab legs with Cajun butter. The corn was good, we added sausages ( a little steep for $6.99?) for one IMO. Potato's were cute too big, a little underdone. The biscuits were hot and fresh. It's a little run down; the men's bathroom is an outdoor portable...didn't ask but felt weird to walk outside just to wash my hands. The fish was very suspicious rubbery not flaky very odd texture, and tasteless.. after two bites, I called the manager and he brought me two other pieces of fish that were only slightly better. We visited Red Lobster in Temecula after a 45-minute wait just to get a table. Once seated, we waited another 45 minutes and still never received our food. We asked the manager multiple times about our order, and her response was that she had "no idea" where it was. Later, we were told the waiter had left and that the food would come out "when it was ready," even though the restaurant was close to closing and we had already been waiting a very long time. What made this especially disappointing was that I'm pregnant and had been looking forward to this meal as a craving. After wasting nearly two hours, we finally gave up and left without ever receiving our food. To add insult to injury, the manager still charged us for a Diet Coke despite the terrible experience and lack of service. We ended up going to Olive Garden instead and had our food within 15 minutes. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience, poor communication from management, and a complete waste of our time. The last time I visited a Red Lobster was approximately 13 years ago. I was curious what they offered for their crabfest and wanted to try their seafood boils. Both the Mariner's and Sailor's Seafood Boil were tasty. If you like garlic, I recommend getting the garlic butter flavored boil. The portions are best suited for 1-2 people. It appeared to be a long wait, luckily I made reservations. Definitively worth the time to reserve ahead of time. Although there was plenty of seating, they seemed to be short of staff unfortunately. In a way, it's a bit sad to see an iconic American restaurant like Red Lobster losing its popularity and becoming something other than what it once was. Although our last couple experiences have been disappointing, we came back for the crab fest. The service was not what it should be, losing some of the basics. As just one example, the plate of 1 lb of crab came but Red Lobster had ran out of the crab crackers needed to eat the crab. About 15 minutes later they were able to wash and get us the crackers. By that time the crab legs were cold, we asked for them to be warmed up. After a while, the server took our crab legs, came back with the crab legs still cold but with a warm plate. Asking again to get our crab legs warmed up, the server needed to request special permission from the manager. Eventually, they took and brought back those same crab legs warmed up. What we miss the most, from the former Red Lobster - the cheddar Bay biscuits (once delicious). Nowadays they are semi-tasteless and beyond dry. I would even say the deals have gotten better, especially with 5 dollar drinks and those flights look so amazing. I will be back to try. I will say our drinks were on point though. My experience with Red Lobster is going downhill each time I eat there. This time I only ate here because I had a $10 gift card to use. ON this day, Nov 1, I ordered the two lobster tail (you can substitute the tougher rock lobster for another Maine lobster tail), and two sides. First of all, I live in San Diego and Red Lobster closed the only two locations in the City of San Diego. So I stay at an AirbnB sometimes in Temecula and have people to eat with in Temecula. Last year I ate at this Red Lobster with my property manager Eddy. He paid for about 5 people(his family), and myself. But in fall 2024 I bought Lobster Lover's Dream for an employee in his office because she just passed the exam for her real estate license. It cost me $71 for Lobster Lover's Dream, including tax and tip. On top of that she got fired 4 months later. In paying for Eddy's employee's dinner, and ordering my own Lobster Lover's Dream, they no longer include the Caesar salad as a free side, you have to pay a premium for it, on this date Nov 1, 2025 $3.49. You have to pay $5 MORE if you want lobster in your fettuccini, otherwise you get shrimp, when before the lobster was all they had and it was included free. An THEN, the Maine lobster tails USED to be 7 oz, but today Nov 1, the server apologized that they are only 6 oz. Eddy gave me his receipt for that night, totaling hundreds of dollars, so I could add the points to my rewards. But I did not know, that Corporate Red Lobster at that time 2024 told me that" I can never accumulate 125 points, because upon doing so, the 125 results in a piece of chocolate cake". I was shocked that Red Lobster Corporate spent my points immediately (when before I could have a choice of 3-4 items that I instigate the time and choice I pick) for each 125 points, and forced me to have the chocolate cake reward. I am diabetic and do not even eat dessert and can't eat chocolate, so Red Lobster blew away my points spending hundreds of dollars for 3 pieces of chocolate cake. Also I get same for my birthday, so I never come in to eat that. After that, I no longer try to get 125 points. Later, 2025, it turns out they offer 3-4 choices again, 3 savory items and 1 dessert. Well it turns out it isn't MY choice to pick, it is Red Lobster's choice, and they always pick the cheapest, and FORCE the dessert on met, and I don't eat dessert. So you can see to ME, I am NOT rewarded for eating at Red Lobster. The lady I ate with at this Red Lobster last night, told me her father just ate here a week ago. When she asked her father how was his dinner, she told me he said not so good, because Red Lobster made so many changes that make you pay MORE for items that used to be included in your entree price, and all the prices were soooooo expensive, already. No wonder Red Lobster closed both San Diego locations, so no more Red Lobster in one of the largest metro areas in the nation. Red Lobster also closed my favorite location which was about 1.5 miles from my Scottsdale house on Scottsdale Road and Obsorn Rd, next to the Olive Garden, years ago. They built apartments there now. So sad. There were very few occupied tables in the entire restaurant with many empty tables stacked with dirty dishes; including an aisle cart loaded with dirty dishes. We sat there for 15-20 minutes, watching two servers walk around, but no one ever stopped by our table to take our order. I walked up to the bar and asked if we could order there. The chocolate was delicious without having it be too sweet, which balances out well with the side of vanilla ice cream. My partner really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts. They were crispy on the outside and had a sweet and savory flavor to them. The restaurant is outdated and needs a revamp. The wait times for the food took some time as well. We got seated right away but it took awhile for sometime to come by. It also took awhile to receive our food. We waited around 45-50 minutes in total until we received our food. Came in to this place because we had a gift card and wanted some seafood. Great service, we were seated ASAP. The cheddar bay biscuits were pretty good, nice and warm and fluffy. The clam chowder cup (forgot to take a picture of it) was okay, didn't really have much flavor to it. The Parmesan crusted chicken was just okay too, the chicken was good, but I think would have liked it better without the sauce on top of it. The baked potato was bland even though it had the butter, onions and sour cream on it. The brussel sprouts were good but to rich, I could only eat a few of them and they were an up charge of about $3.49 more for them as my side dish. Went to Red Lobster for my Birthday. The service was good, though it took way too long waiting for the bill. The $50 meal I wanted to treat myself with was worth $20 at best. The first set of dinner rolls were stale and overcooked. The salmon and shrimp were okay, not great, but okay. The lobster was cemented to the shell and would only shred out with a fork. The coleslaw was soupy and swimming in dressing (I didn't touch that). The broccoli was mush. That was just my meal. My husband's mashed potatos ball was dry and starchy along side of his coleslaw soup. I got the feeling that all of the cooked food had been taken out of the freezer and put in the microwave. Came here with the family to celebrate a birthday. Made our reservation for 4pm, so it was well ahead of busy times. We walked in about 10-15 min early and the hostess told us they would sit us closer to our time. That was fine and we looked at menus while we waited. As we were escorted to our table, we noticed several tables empty. We thought that it being not as busy that we would be serviced soon. Boy was I wrong!!! We sat at our table with zero acknowledgment from anyone beyond our hostess seating us. No one said hello, no one offered us drinks or say they would be right with us. Several servers walked by. I made eye contact with one who approached the table next to us and still nothing. We literally waited for 20 min and we decided to leave. Lord knows how long it would be before we got our food. We told the hostess we were leaving. We didn't want to speak to a Mgr because it would be pointless. No wonder they are going bankrupt. read more

It's been over 10 years since we have been to a Red Lobster because the last time we dined the food was so disappointing! We received a gift card for Xmas and came for dinner last night. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food has improved. We ordered the Ultimate Feast for husband and I to share. It was a LOT of food! Lobster was a nice size and very good. Filet was tender and juicy, though a bit salty. Coconut shrimp was crunchy, cooked perfectly. Enjoyed the loaded baked potato. Broccoli, because it made us feel better about ordering something "healthy ". Shrimp Alfredo linguine was not that good. And of course, those signature biscuits are addicting. Husband had an El Patron margarita. Loved how they serve the tequila in a shot glass attached to the glass. It was pretty potent! They have a tank with live lobsters, so you know it's fresh. The last time as I remember (years ago) my lobster was a skinny piece of unappetizing lobster. This time it was a pretty big tail that was nicely cooked. Service was good. We sat at the bar, which is open seating and no wait if seats are open. This place got really busy. I guess it's a pretty good deal to get your lobster fix. We may be back next time I need a lobster fix. read more

Their ayce shrimp deal is great! I was eating that deal when it was 20$, now it's 25$. I suppose losing 11 million in 1 quarter immediately requires upping the price, buy even at 25$ their still losing a ton of money. My fav of the shrimp has to be the asian themed ones. I like the shrimp pasta too. The coconut shrimp is good but I just can't eat too much of it. I like that you get sides one time. It's definitely filling. Also this location, the service is great. They are also d9g friendly, so a plus! read more

I won't be back to Red Lobster in Temecula. I drove 45 minutes looking forward to eating there, only to be told the wait would be over an hour. What made it even more frustrating was that half the restaurant was empty, and all the employee could say was "sorry." Now I understand why this franchise is struggling. On Mother's Day weekend, they really need to get it together and improve their customer service and staffing. read more
