Well I haven't dined at this brand since 2013, but I felt like taking part of their unlimited shrimp offering. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by a nice young lady that sat me immediately, the place was clean and barely occupied (likely due to the time I showed up which was between lunch & dinner at 2:00 PM). Upon sitting, I was immediately greeted by my server, Alan K, with a basket of 4 cheddar bay biscuits. He took my drink order while I tried to decide on what appetizer I wanted to start with. Once he delivered my iced tea, he offered to take my order, which I opted for calamari & the unlimited shrimp (Marry Me shrimp, scampi & Walt's favorite, basically fried shrimp). My appetizer was delivered in a fairly short order and it was nice and hot, cooked properly (not over cooked or chewy), crispy and nice seasoning in the batter. Then my order arrived and everything was still very hot, seasoned well and cooked properly too. After I finished this initial set, I did want to try the shrimp Alfredo and asked if he could do a 1/2 order (since I don't like to waste food) and he said he would try, which I appreciated. That order came out hot and fresh as well, but the sauce (for me) was a little too salty to my liking. The biscuits appeared to be smaller and drier than I remember (but I don't eat a lot of bread products anyways). Overall the food was good, but the service that Alan provided was exceptional. He was very attentive, friendly, accommodating and professional and that is why I had to bump up my rating. He made me feel welcome as a single dinner eating an unlimited offering. Leave it up to a Red Lobster giftcard that was gifted to us to decide where we're eating for lunch. This location was conveniently located next to the hotel we're staying at. 1st time at a Red Lobster. All I know is I wanted the biscuits... and that one lived up to the hype. We had the lobster artichoke dip (so good!) and popcorn shrimp for starters. Then ordered two different kinds of crab boil in a bag. Lobsterfest boil ($49.99) with signature butter, add 6 pcs sausage for $6.50 more. The Mariner's boil came with 1 lobster tail cut in half, some crab legs, shrimp, corn, & potatoes. The lobster tail is pretty small but it will suffice. I appreciated the peeled shrimp. Flavors were good but nothing really outstanding. Best part of this meal was our server, James, he took great care of us despite running the bar by himself and also taking care of our table. Overall, food is okay. Service was great. Our server Daisha was wonderful! We were sat down right away. They did need an extra server because it took time to get our water refilled. We ordered our food. We had the special that day that was on for 1799. The shrimp scampi fried shrimp shrimp Alfredo. The biscuits were nice and hot and delicious. We got us appetizer lobster queso it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean. It was nice and calm quiet we really enjoyed our dinner as a family. Our food fresh and hot! I would totally recommend going to this red lobster. I know I will be going back. The waitress had so much body perfume on, I thought I was going to get sick. When she brought our food out to us, my butter didn't even melt on the potato because it was cold. I ordered fish and my husband got the all you can eat shrimp. He said that everything but the shrimp scampi was cold. First things first, the service was exceptional from the hostess to the waitress. Both were very friendly and offered suggestions when I was incredibly indecisive. Our drinks were never empty left waiting to ask for a refill, and the food service from the kitchen was well paced. Though, I will say that we were not impressed with the food. For "very spicy," I didn't taste a thing which was pretty surprising; unless I'm dead inside which is a possibility. I know I am a fan of spice so my tolerance is higher, but you'd think I would feel a little mouth burn? Definitely stick to Angry Crab Shack if you want a seafood boil with spice. The seafood did taste fresh for a land-locked state and was great for someone who usually sticks to a vegetarian diet. Overall, this is a very large restaurant if you need a larger party for a celebration or even just a date night like I did. Definitely recommend happy hour as the Tito's Twisted Strawberry Lemonade for $5 was a splendid way to beat the heat at a great price! And you can't forget their famous cheddar bay biscuits. It has been a few years since I've been to Red Lobster but I'm glad I went back. They offer daily specials and that day's special was steak & lobster for $29.99. Both my steak and lobster were great. Really excited to eat here, after a 3 year absence and seeing the commercials. Our server Alan, was excellent. We only ordered one entree: the mariner boil bag with roasted garlic, original spice. Enough for two people. The oily bag arrived hot with two small weird looking lobsters, dozen shrimp, two pieces of corn, two small 3-leg crab legs, and potato halves. Taste was okay, but too oily. I was happy and appreciative that Red Lobster was open on Christmas Day. I really appreciate these restaurants that stay open for people in teeny tiny families like me, and especially people in teeny tiny families who hate to cook. We have gone out for Christmas dinner every single year for the last 35 years. I normally like Red Lobster, and today was no exception. I did order a little differently than usual, but it was good. First of all, the Cheddar Bay biscuits are so delicious - - buttery and cheesy and just so good. Only one of us ordered a cocktail, the Ruby mule, but I tasted it. It was delicious! I got grilled rainbow trout with broccoli and a baked potato. Hubby got the shrimp scampi and grilled shrimp. Son, who traded half and half meals with me, got the grilled mahi-mahi. Everything was good. It felt like quite a bit of food. We did see some people order those big platters and omg that's a serious amount of food for one person. Apparently people do it though because many people were ordering those. My only problem with the evening was the service. Our server was nice enough and when we arrived took our order relatively quickly, but once we got our food he did not come back for a long time. In fact we sat after finishing our food for a very long time. I don't want to say that he did a bad job because I'm not sure what staffing was like. He may have had more tables than usual to handle which would explain it, especially in light of the fact that it was Christmas Day and they were very full. Just something to be aware of though. I know Red lobster is in financial trouble and I hope that it is able to fix it and stick around. It's one of those places that's dependable. Save your money and go elsewhere! Came here to try out the endless shrimp and to relive my childhood days. Unfortunately, all of the shrimp options were pretty awful. They were all extremely inebibly salty, and the coconut on the coconut shrimp was stale and going rancid. I should've sent it back and asked for my money back, the only redeeming factor was my server, Alyssa. She was absolutely great. At this point, even if they offered to "make it right" I would turn them down and just ask for them to refund my bill. I normally never do that, but it was that bad. And instead of asking her mom who told her NO! Sooooo... a friend took me to Red Lobster, when I told her I have never been to a Red Lobster in the 23 yrs I lived in the USA. A lot has changed since my last visit less than a year ago. My favorite dish (one I've ordered for over 3 decades, is gone). I contacted CS and they didn't give me a "why" just a canned response. We came here because I was gifted a gift card. We came for the endless shrimp but seeing it was $27, we both couldn't stomach that price since I don't eat enough to warrant that price tag. Online it said $25 (up from $23 the year before). I ended up ordering the stuffed flounder which I've never ever done but I had no choice since my favorite dish is gone. The stuffed flounder was tasty but the broccoli and masked potatoes were lackluster. My broccoli was also doused with oil (that defeats the purpose of ordering broccoli). The masked potatoes had a crust on them as if they were sitting under a heat lamp. I tried to just focus on the fish. My boyfriend couldn't finish his pasta and I hate that it had to be wasted instead of me being able to take it home (for example). The table menu said "no boxes". So I didn't even want to ask if I could save it from the trash can. How wasteful to not allow boxes in an effort to help reduce needless waste. I hope this policy can be reconsidered. It's not a one size fits all when it comes to people, business, and ethics. There was also an issue with my Rewards and I couldn't use a 10% promo I was emailed. Contacting CS after my visit was left with the same/similar experience as when I emailed about what happened to my classic dish. Unfortunately, this isn't the same Red Lobster I loved since I was a kid. The cheddar bay biscuits weren't even glistening with buttered tops and moist with flavor. They were dry, crumbly and lacking buttery flavor. There was nothing wrong with the service, we are low maintenance guests who don't need a lot other than water and our main dishes. I used to love Red Lobster for one meal only: The Bay Harbor Pasta dish! I asked for gift cards for holidays and birthdays and scheduled client dinners there often, all for that one meal. It was popular, healthier than all the fried stuff and thick alfredo sauces, and one of the most expensive meals on their menu, so why would they drop it? I gave away my remaining gift cards and have not been back since they dropped it from their menu. The food and atmosphere was great! Server was excellent! This is my issue this is the handicapped ramp on the side of the facility and the front. Note the special needs spots are in the back of the restaurant, instead of the front of the restaurant. Instead, there are many open spots designed for pick up. The ramp isn't accessible to all special needs people, and the front ramp going on the property is stalled by a curb, the access is just left of the curb. My sister is visibly impaired and had a hard time with both entrances. Special needs and handicapped are not just for wheelchair access, there are other disabilities too. Came here for my daughter's 35th birthday because it was one of her favorite restaurants. The restaurant was very inviting and clean. The Manager Connie was so nice and our server Llotel was awesome. She was so attentive and genuinely enjoyed her position with a smile. Haven't been in a restaurant where people were happy to make you feel welcomed. The food was so good. Placed a Red Carpet Curbside order. Arrived 5 minutes before the estimated delivery time. Waited 15 more minutes and no word on where our food was. It wasn't a small order, it was for two Surf and Turf orders at $120. Finally, with no word I walked in and they had the order sitting cold with no service person to deliver it. Food was ice cold. Lobster was not edible and steak was cooked fine but cold. Total disaster and no one at this facility cared. Time for Red Lobster to close this location. No management or service. read more

I have been an avid fan of Red Lobster, probably since they first opened their doors to fish and seafood lovers in my home state of Florida back in 1968 and I have surprised and dismayed myself as not having social media appraised any of the dozens of locations I have patronized coast to coast. It goes to show they've done quite of bit right for many years. And many have come to enjoy visiting their Nationwide accessibility. Now they are amid Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, and it's not just bad for them, but it could be disastrous for us fish and seafood lovers and connoisseurs across the country. Their fine attention to quality, reasonably moderate prices, great dining establishments, splendid service and giving the opportunity for we fish and seafood enthusiasts and our pockets. They've also been habitat conscious through their Global Ghost Gear Initiative and the Trash Free Seas Alliance. Locally, this location of Red Lobster has been the most frequent of ours over the last few years. We've enjoyed the likes of starters such as: some fab Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms; very nicely prepped Breaded Calamari; a really, really, really good Lobster Dip with Spinach, Artichoke and a few different cheeses; not to mention a very good Crab Queso, perfect with their chips. My wife and I being seafood lovers have had the opportunity to enjoy main courses that have included: tender yet crispy outside Cod Fish and Chips; Fried or Stuffed Flounder - always fresh and tender; great offerings of Maine Lobster (can't get it any less expensive anywhere); Grilled Scallop and Shrimp; a wonderful rendition of Shrimp & Grits; and some very, very good pasta versions of Cajun Chicken Linguini or Shrimp Alfredo. This is not to say that the myriads of other offerings are not above par, the beers, cocktails and refreshments from the bar, as well as other items like steak and chicken have always been above average. In closing, if Red Lobster has learned their lesson that all-you-can-eat shrimp was not profitable (although nice for the consumer, something we can live without!) and overall can improve Lobsters operational management and finances, we may be able to enjoy Red Lobster for a while. I have always been a Red Lobster fan, especially for their great lunch specials. This was the first time trying this Red Lobster location, but we were in the area last Saturday, so we stopped by for lunch. This was my first in-person visit to Red Lobster since the pandemic began, and I didn't realize they have a totally different menu now, and sadly, no lunch specials on the weekend. The food and service were fantastic but the prices were much higher than I had expected to be paying for lunch, so that was a bit disappointing. I realize that restaurants have had a hard time over the past year and a half, so just know this going in. They still have lunch specials Monday through Friday, however, so I will go back for lunch on a week day. I do appreciate that Covid-19 protocols are being enforced at this restaurant. I recently visited the Red Lobster in Goodyear, AZ. I paid for a to-go order at the bar were a server assisted me, which I gave her a cash tip & paid for my food with a debit/credit card. A few days later I checked my account & found that the same server I gave a CASH tip to, added an unauthorized tip on the total bill. I WILL NEVER EAT AT RED LOBSTER GOODYEAR, AZ location again because their staff is stealing from customers.... No wonder the restaurant is struggling!! Tell the staff to stop stealing! This is my fourth time at this location- and I always sit at the bar. Daysia the bartender is terrific! She works her tail off and it shows! Her drinks are amazing and her energy is even better. She's also so positive despite some run-ins they may face (bar is connected to to-go area where I've witnessed multiple irritated people picking up orders, that were either late or incorrect). We've always liked our food and have received it promptly when sitting at the bar (sports girly here). My wife and I decided at the last minute to go to Red, Lobster in Mesa for dinner this evening. We got there around 5:45 which was perfect because we beat the crowd. No wait, plenty of tables and booths available. I am now eating more healthy foods and portions, and was concerned that I'd have to overindulge in order to enjoy my dinner. Boy was I wrong! Linda ordered the grilled trout and crispy green beans with a side Caesar salad. The salad was delicious and larger than she expected. The only thing is she wished she had ordered the dressing on the side. Not so much because there was too much, but because we took half the salad home, and the dressing will make the croutons soggy! :) I ordered the Unlimited shrimp which was a choice of two types of shrimp, with additional shrimp after you finish the first portions. I ordered the garlic Scampi and the grilled skewers, with a side of broccoli. The dish also came with a little rice pilaf as well. Both the Scampi and the skewers were fantastic, and the portion sizes were perfect. In fact, I ordered a, second half portion of each when I finished my first. The bread is ALWAYS delicious w/o fail side salads are also always yummy -idk why- they just are! Steak was just "ok" lobster meals were overcooked :( -kids were happy w/their dinners. This is kinda a tough one. The food, staff was very good but the service lacked. Saturday evening and as expected a somewhat busy evening there. First before heading inside, my Dad is disabled and we noticed that the handicapped parking was very far from the entrance of the restaurant. Once parked my Elderly Dad had to walk the ramp that ran along the entire side of the building and then turn right around the corner and another 25 ft to the entrance. Needless to say I had to drive the car up after dinner to come get him when we were leaving. Not very good for anyone needing a cane or any other assistance to walk. When ordering dinner the selection was very good as well the food tasted good. So no complaints. The fried calamari, lobster linguini and Mac n cheese are excellent. The overall service suffered because the food took long to arrive and we noticed our waiter "James" is also the bartender and was running around like crazy. Regardless, he kept a smile, sense of humor and a great attitude. But clearly they were short staffed and definitely needed help. We felt bad for James but was apparently doing his best and we appreciate him. A solid Rock Star. It is probably more enjoyable to go on a slower weekday or possibly get more staff.
