I visited here with a group of 24 for a celebration on a Thursday night. We had the room in the back which was set up nicely. Parking was a bit of a struggle because it is only street cleaning. We ended up parking about 3 blocks away. We had a pre-fixe menu for our group. The waiters went around and informed us of our options for the main dish. The appetizers and desserts were family style. The restaurant is BYOB so make sure to bring your drinks. The appetizers were great! The flavor was perfect. The avocado salad - OMG I have no clue what they added to it but it was so good. The appetizers were decently portioned. The main entrees seemed to be hit or miss. Everyone had different opinions on their meals. I was one of the lucky ones who really enjoyed the churrasco. It was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The only downside is they did not give the chimichurri sauce until we requested it. That was also something that not everyone was fond of. The sides for the dinner were disappointing. The sides (rice/sweet potato) were family style and tiny portions that was not enough for us to share. I tried a tiny amount of the morro and the sweet potato. Both were good. The sweet potato had a kick of coconut which was odd but I kinda enjoyed it. I didn't get a photo of the family style dessert but trust me... it was a small portion as well. I didn't have any but heard that the flan was amazing. All in all I enjoyed my food. I would like to return but not in a group. The staff overall was great and the food was delicious.

Such a wonderful ambiance. Dim lighting, candles on the table. Very intimate. The service was great. This place is BYOB but they do provide wine. We ordered the Rosita wine with the Tropical Fantasy Sangria mix. It was very refreshing. A great pairing. The appetizers were amazing. We had the jerk chicken skewers (so flavorful) and the beef empanadas. For our entrees, we had the Red Pepper Sea Bass. It had good flavor. We also ordered the Churrasco which ended up being chewy. All in all, it's a great place and I will be returning.

Came here for a pre-fixed birthday dinner. Everyone thought the food was delicious. We were a party of 19 and the service was excellent. The churrasco and the espresso crème brûlée were the star's of the show. If you are a large group I highly recommend this pre-fixed menu.

Rebecca's is an amazing restaurant! I came here for the first time to celebrate my friends surprise birthday/ going away party. Because of covid we decided to keep it small and intimate so we rented out the small room that fit around 12 people. We had our own space which was great! The space was cozy and cute. For private dining/ parties they have 3 different types of menus to choose from: a $35, $45 or $55. We decided to opted for the $55 menu and it was so worth it! The food was delicious. We got appetizers which were family style (empanadas, salad, and guacamole) then for the entree it was a la carte so everyone got their own plate. Lastly for dessert it was also family style but my favorite dessert was the flan! It was delicious. This place is BYOB so we definitely brought some wine and champagne to enjoy with our delicious food!

First time coming to this restaurant! Parking was a bit rough, I waited for someone to leave their spot on the street. I came here for a celebration and we were seated in a private room toward the back. The servers were friendly and attentive. They explained the menu options for us. The restaurant is BYOB ! The appetizers were delicious, they brought out salad, shrimp, guacamole and empanadas. The entrees came with sides family style: the portions were so small of rice and sweet potatoes mash. We also found the churassco to be a small size. They brought out the dessert family staple and that was also small. To a table of about 10 they brought two plates out for each time, they need to bring out three. The portion of the flan was almost bite sized! The food was good overall.

Rebeccas is still killin' it! Being a BYOB we always bring a bottle of vino to turn into a lovely Sangria - the red has apples and oranges. Feeling frisky then try one of the white tropical sangria mixes. They also offer bottles of wine for sale in the $25 range.

Cuban food and BYOB, sign me up! Came here for a birthday dinner. We brought 3 bottles of wine with us. There is no corking fee so feel free to bring as many as you think you'll need to satisfy your group. Staff was very nice and accommodating. They kept our bottles in the fridge until we were ready for them. The food was really good. Atmosphere is dark and intimate. Everything we ate was good. The guacomole was a stand out.

Another Cuban restaurant I enjoy. If you're ever in the jersey area and want to visit somewhere more secluded I would recommend. The night I went was pretty busy even though I called to reserve a table- there was a lot going on. I remember asking the waitress for another bread basket and it was a while before she showed up with it. Moving on. The croquets were soo delicious! Probably my favorite from any place I've been to so far. The shrimps were cooked to perfection (hate over cooked shrimp) and had a great garlic flavor. I of course completed my meal with rice and beans.

Espresso Creme Brulee, Our Legendary Flan, & Rice Pudding - A dessert plate features a caramel flan, a cup of coffee, and a glass of whipped cream with layers, served on a white plate with doilies.

Came here with a large party, we had a space in the back separate from the main restaurant area with approximately 25 people. Although we were likely too many people for the party, they treated us so well! The restaurant was nice, clean, and had a very fancy vibe. The wait staff was extremely attentive. They spoke Spanish and English (perfect for a multi generational immigrant family). They provided extras when asked. It was a BYOB so they corked our wines and champagne, provided ice, and made us feel really good. They didn't mind the many questions or the confusion over who ordered what. Extremely impressed by their service. Their food was also exquisite although I wouldn't say 100% authentic, the flavors were familiar, and their presentation was nice. The meals came with appetizers guacamole with plantain chips, and tostones with shrimp, pico de Gallo, and empanadas the main course (choice of meat/fish -- options were churrasco, salmon, chicken, or lechón/Pork). They brought out sides for the table white rice, congris (Moro or black bean and white rice), and mashed yams. Lastly, but certainly not least they brought out desserts for the table. It contained flan, rice pudding, and the best Expresso creme brulee I've ever had. It was truly both a great time and the food was delicious. I was not the one who paid, so I am not sure how much it cost per person. Would definitely come back with a a group, or for a date night.

Be advised they charge you 20% as a party fee even if it's just 2 people. I looked over their website and menu and this charge isn't listed anywhere that I can find. Again it's only 2 people and if it's disclosed somewhere it's pretty hidden so this is fraud at worst and impolite at least. Other than that the waiter ignored me a lot and the place was empty when we arrived yet the waiter still rarely came around despite us being the only ones in the restaurant. If you guys want to contact me for a refund you where to find me

I was a little disappointed.. the food was top notch, great quality, simple fresh Cuban flavor. The service on the other hand wasn't there. When we first walked in we were impressed, very romantic, intimate candlelight date night restaurant. It's BYOB , they have a few different sangria mix in options to choose from and they will make it with your bottle of wine. We were seated right away. Started with the shrimp appetizer, four perfectly grilled pieces of gulf shrimp on a fried plantain and topped with fresh pico. We noticed a few tables have been waiting for their meals.. and then so did we. We were at the restaurant for a total of an hour and just had our app. For our main course I had the Tuna, hubby had the Snapper. Both very delicious, we both got the Mashed Coconut Yams which were out of this world!!! I must say the food again wass really great but we were waiting around hungry. I'd love to go back but I just don't know if it's worth the wait. Maybe they were just having a bad day and short staffed.

You'd think living a few blocks away that i would have been here sooner, but unfortunately you are wrong. Rebecca's is the perfect date night. be it for your lover or your friend. Myself and my friend loved sitting outside in the verranda area. Despite that its kinda outside, Rebecca's staff keeps it warm. The service is quick and smooth, the staff is super friendly and pays attention to our drinks and is very helpful. The cilantro shrimp was a larger portion than i thought it would be. it could be sharable, or even an entree like i chose. the shrimp is grilled and seasoned perfectly. The coconut yams were out of this world, in fact i wish there were more of a coconut flavor. the yucca frittas came with an amazing dipping sauce, but felt they needed to be fried or baked more. ive had far better at other places. i would come back for dessert, their dessert menu looks to die for!

The food was awful and tasted like it had been reheated from a few days ago. Never again. How can a Cuban restaurant not have decent pork?

Nestled on the corner of Broadway and W 91st on the Upper West Side the restaurant's color scheme is vibrant, energetic and inviting The use of turquoise reminded me of the cool waters of the Mediterranean. Which fits Dagon perfectly as it serves exquisite dishes from across the region. Mejda, our waitress was one of the best servers I have ever had. She was so attentive to every person and suggested foods to compliment everyone's palate. For those that wanted light items she recommended the Mezze. Mezze is a style of dining where one eats small plates similar to tapas. At Dagon, we chose the Matbucha, a roasted tomato, sweet pepper dip, and the Baba Ganouj, a fire-roasted eggplant with preserved lemon. For a small plate we had the Shishbarak, Lebanese mushroom filled dumplings with warm yogurt, pine nuts and spicy herb since it was highly recommended. For my entree I chose the Chicken Sofrito, a slow-braised chicken with olives and preserved lemon. The meat was tender, flavorful and eating it felt so divine and guilt free! Mejda regularly checked in on us. Her mindfulness and thoughtful nature made us feel extra special and elevated our dining experience. We learned she is from the region and dishes from her country are on the menu at Dagon. Overall the food, service, and ambiance was AMAZING!!! Everyone truly enjoyed themselves. It's no surprise the restaurant is so beloved in the city. We cannot wait to return to Dagon!!!
