Came for a friend's birthday brunch. We were seated off from the main restaurant. She was given a printed menu with a 3 course meal. I had the short rib croquettes which were delicious and my friend and I share the burger and the chicken panini. They both were very good. We got some kind of dessert but I don't care for it. At all not even sure what it was but it lacked everything for me. The rest of the food was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice ambience and vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Elegant, modern, new and very spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were a party of 6 for lunch. Our server was was considerate to our dietary needs and Terravita had options to accommodate us. From vegan, gluten free, vegetarian and also for hearty classic eaters. The restaurant satisfied our group. They allow BYOB as well. I would go back, yes!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe inside is so cute. They have an outdoor (but indoor?) setting type of place which is great bc you get the outside views while not getting any bugs on your food[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Out waitor was super nice and accommodating + food came out pretty quick (and good). The steak was so perfectly cooked (medium rare) and juicy, the salad was delicious (some semi sweet vinaigrette), potato cake was so crunchy and well szned (that I forgot I hated potatoes for a second), and my request for just the egg whites was perfectly accommodated:) Mocktails were just okay (prob bc I wanted alcohol in it but there were only mocktails as an option) Overall a 10/10

terravita was a pleasant surprise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I almost walked out because I didn't feel comfortable with how empty it was at first.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had great service so I decided to stay and try one thing. The black truffle mushroom risotto with hangar steak was probably the best thing I've had in a while. I also tried the lamb hummus- I do not like hummus but this was excellent! It the pushed me to try the lobster with bacon and cheese ravioli - incredible! Both of these are worth trying if you're in this part of the country. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is absolutely gorgeous!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even on a cold snowy evening[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's rare that we actually go to a place we just added to our never ending list of places to try. I'm so glad we went to terravita as soon as I found it on TikTok !! We got there probably 1-1.5 hours of it opening so we didn't need to wait long to get seated -- in fact we got seated right away for brunch. I'm a big fan of short rib and they had so much short rib on their menu it was hard to choose from ! On their brunch menu, they had a short rib croquette, short rib panini, and short rib hash. We ended up getting the croquette and I wasn't expecting the amount of short rib it came with inside the pairing with truffle aioli was delicious and not too overpowering. Because we got the croquette, I opted for the vegan option of their king trumpet mushroom. The mix of textures from the mushroom and the puffed rice worked so well, I bet it would be delicious with risotto, too. My fiancé opted for the salmon madame that was also the perfect size and perfectly cooked and prepared. The sourdough's crust crunch really made it even more exciting to eat (as you can tell, I love textures ) We closed off with their bread pudding which wasn't too sweet at all. The warmth of the pudding along with the ice cream is always a great pair. Can't wait to come back and try their lunch and dinner menus next

Make sure to make a reservation on the weekend cause this place gets busy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was bigger than the initial glance and the lighting was perfectly moody especially for an intimate dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My table got a few apps to share namely the cauliflower and the burrata, which the burrata was deliciously sweet yet full of flavor. As for the entrees I had a yummy salmon and the table had various steaks and the lobster, all of which were cooked perfectly. In the end it was a pricey but enjoyable dinner.

    The most delicious dessert!

Came here for a Saturday brunch in July. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really like the ambiance of this restaurant. It's really beautiful inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A nice BYOB spot with a delicious menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's on the quieter side, no loud music. A place for deep conversations with your girlfriends where you can spill all the tea.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was super attentive and kept our glasses full. Parking is a bit of an issue. There is street parking, but since it's a residential area it's kind of hit or miss. But I believe there is municipal parking a block or two away from the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the dessert was even better. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.

    A very limey lemonade. Delicious.

As the Duke of Terravita I have the authority to title this place "Decent Brunch." I've been dining here since it was Emma's Bistro and it's always been a pretty good time and for the location--the price is right. For some reason, when making a reservation and choosing the dining room you still get sat in the terrace but luckily the heat lamps work pretty well. I haven't had a bad dish here so I'd recommend trying anything and everything. I think the apps are my favorite, the lamb hummus and the short rib croquettes...fantastic! Parking is a bust, I'm pretty sure everyone just parks at Whole Foods and walks over. Service needs some work, too many hands and yet the bill still takes a little too long to come but it's not a deal breaker. It's great for a cute meal before running errands around town. 'Til next time TV!

Our crew of friends and family decided to host a holiday dinner party here and it was absolutely awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is amazing and chic from the moment you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Usually BYOB spots struggle to create the right ambiance, but this place has something special going on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We may have had a bit too much fun because we literally closed the place down with the staff. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and sharing them at the table because that is what we did and everything was deliciously decadent. The burrata was packed with flavor and the basil foam was impressive. The octopus with potatoes hit perfectly. I already know I need to go back for the crab empanadas and the short rib croquettes soon. For our mains, my wife and I shared the short rib yucca gnocchi and the lobster and ricotta ravioli. Amazingly tasty across the board. This place delivered from start to finish and we will definitely be returning.

An amazing place to get brunch around Edgewater, New Jersey. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is beautiful on the inside with great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have a recommend pancakes and their burrata. Both were beautifully presented and had a lot of flavor that wasn't overwhelming. Everything else was very good though, highly recommend and will come back.

I was in a bind as I had to find a venue for my moms bday the next day for a large party. Had it been for me, I would have booked a place weeks before but having. Indecisive siblings led to this dilemma. Luckily, terravita was able to accommodate as they have space for a large party that's semi private . It was a nice surprise ( it's my first time ) when I walked into the restaurant. The facade doesn't look the most appealing but once you walk in, there's a Sense of coziness, partly due to the decor. I think the way the space was divided was clever . One can have a private space that's not completely removed from the rest of the place. Now the food, everything was delicious from the shared appetizers , lamb hummus , burrata ( crowd favorite), calamari (sweet and sour vs the Mediterranean salt and pepper - didn't like it as much )and short rib croquettes ( very good ) followed by each individual brunch / lunch items from steak and eggs ( Most popular choice ), shashuka , short rib hash ( was also a Crowd pleaser ), burger ( meh ), chicken and short rib paninis ( good ), salmon Benedict , ricotta pancakes ( crispy on the outside , fluffy and good inside ) and french toast . While majority of what we ordered were tasty , the portions sizes need to be tweaked as they were on the smaller side. I'm a quality vs quantity fan but adjusting a little can go a long way . Service was attentive and friendly , much thanks to the staff for making my mom's brunch / lunch celebration memorable . It was an overall good experience . I can't thank the restaurant enough for doing a good job accommodating and delivering ( a day before is quick notice for larger parties and hence I understood when some of the items weren't available, ie. Chorizo and the rib appetizer). I would definitely come back to try their dinner offerings . This place is bYOB which is a major plus ( and a good surprise ).

Ordered an egg Benedict from here a while back and didn't think much of it, but recently decided to try this place again because of their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Lobster Bisque Pasta. Unfortunately, they no longer serve the Lobster Bisque Pasta, but their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes ($18) were so good! The pancake was super light and fluffy with strong lemon flavors and slight crisp on the edges. You won't regret ordering it! There were so many dishes we also wanted to try from the menu, but stuck with the Lebanese Lamb Hummus ($18) and Short Rib Croquettes ($18). YUM! Both these dishes were so unique and delicious. You can ask for more pita bread, and 3 people can thoroughly enjoy the Lebanese Lamb Hummus. The Croquettes were probably my favorite of this visit; they sure packed a punch of flavor. For drinks, we got the Green Point ($12 mocktail; had a strong ginger flavor, but I liked it) and the Americano (around $8?). Service was great. Quick, easy to get their attention. Interior was modern and clean. Glad I decided to come back! ---------------- Came back for more with another friend, and it was just as good. I actually noticed that the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes have been smaller than what's pictured on Yelp these last two times I came. And I think they're too doughy for me; they gave me a stomach ache. However, their Short Rib Croquettes were consistently good. And their Avocado Thai Salad ($17) was surprisingly really tasty! It looks so simple, but packs a punch of tangy flavor with a nice blend of fruits and herbs. I might have accidentally grabbed a basil from the pancakes, and it was really good with the salad! Got their Lychee Ginger ($12 mocktail) this time. It's just as gingery as the Green Point but less sour. I liked it slightly better. Next time, I definitely want to try their Grapefruit or Strawberry mocktails!

Is there a corkscrew charge for BYOB?

Nope, no corkage fee! Part of why we love it.

I'm little confused by the reviews, is this place BYOB or is there an alcohol menu?

We ordered the lamb skewers, pig skin, and stir-fried squid -- all of which were delicious. The lamb skewers were tender and had a great crisp to them, and the stir-fried squid was hands-down my favorite dish of the night. The batter was so light yet crispy. I also really enjoyed the cucumber scallion salad served as a side -- super refreshing and pair well with the meat. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner is friendly, and the overall vibe is very relaxed. They also serve beer and soju, which is a nice touch. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the seasoning on the skewers -- I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Also, while the electric grilling machine is convenient, it doesn't quite deliver that smoky taste you'd get from charcoal. That said, everything we tried was delicious, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended for a flavorful and satisfying meal!

We thought the QR code on the tablet was for the menu but it was for something else, so it was kind of hard to see what to order as a group. The menu did have similar things you would find in other skewer places, but nothing really seemed appealing. At this point, we contemplated if we should just go eat somewhere else, but since we were already there, we decided to stay. When we ordered our food, it was just okay. This place cooks with an electric grill, not charcoal, so I definitely prefer the places that have charcoal. It was busy by the time we left so it seems like it's popular and really liked it, but overall, we thought the place was just okay, with no desire of going back. I'd rather go to the other 2 places in Palisades Park instead.
