Füdgarten in Fort Lee, NJ is the spot for Burgers, salads and bowls. This fast casual cute cafe is the perfect spot for a lunch or a quick dinner! I definitely felt better after I left-everything is so fresh! Java Banana Shake-Banana, Walnuts, Honey, Cinnamon, Coffee, Grass-Fed Whey or Vegan Protein Traditional American Cobb- Chicken, Avocado, Corn, Green Onion, Hard Boiled Egg, Bacon, Cherry Tomato & Crumbled Blue Cheese served over Romaine with a side of Honey Mustard Vinaigrette. Aphrodite- Quinoa, Butternut Squash, Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Feta, and Creamy Pesto Sauce Creole Burger- Cajun Seasoning, Bacon, Arugula, Red Onion, Jack Cheese, and Homemade Russian Dressing
If you're looking for a healthy option and also delicious, this establishmemt is definitely one of the ones to visit in Fort Lee, I always seem to forget to take a photo of the bowl (guess it's that good). My usual go to for this place would be a salad bow,l Aphrodite. The people are friendly, they are quite flexible with the orders and no frill, quick easy in and out. The other day, I had the pleasure of trying their burger which was delicious. The location is just a few blocks from the GWB and located in the same strip mall as a Cafe, restaurant, nail spa etc. There is a private parking lot just in front of the property too.
Stopped in to grab a bite to eat while my EV was charging and the food was amazing, as was the customer service. I'm from out of town and wish there was a Fudgarten back home! It's a newer business so it could use some small improvements, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Füdgarten/Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap This orangic spot prepares a fantastic wrap filled with everything you need. The freshly made croutons were the best feature as they were extra thick and crunchy. If there was a crouton contest, Füdgarten would be at the front of the pack!
Had this a a few weeks ago. The cashier who took order was really nice and helpful. The food was tasteful, and definitely tasted healthy. I did enjoy the sweet potato fries though.
I went to Füdgarten only one other time previously and I think it must've been an off day because I did not have a good experience. However, I gave them another try today and I've had a definite change of heart. I ordered the Body bowl with chicken. Most of the bowls here come with quinoa or brown rice as the base. Personally, I don't like quinoa or brown rice (texturally, they just don't do it for me) but I was able to substitute the quinoa for potato, which worked out. The bowl came with a pleasant lemon cilantro vinaigrette, which tasted like a chimichurri sauce. It was a nice complement to the chicken (but the chicken was well seasoned and flavorful enough to stand on its own). It was also very juicy and tender and the portion size was really good. Overall, it was a nice wholesome meal. Healthy but not bland. Mike and his team run a great restaurant. For people who are health oriented and track their macronutrients, their menu makes it easy to stick to your goals. It's very protein focused and they have a good variety of protein options (including vegan/ vegetarian). I'll be back to try some of their other menu items.
What a pleasant surprise right around the corner from my gym! I left my gym session with a plan to head into the city. While charging my car, I wandered i to Füdgarten to grab breakfast. I ended up getting The Body Bowl and added chicken. It was so so good wow! Filled with protein and fresh ingredients, it's def a great kickstart for the day. I purchased the apricot, banana, and chocolate chip protein cookies as well (TBD on the review). They weren't busy at all, and the gentleman behind the counter gave me great recommendations, as this was my first time. It's a chill spot with decent music. I'll be back!

I got the SoCal with whole wheat wrap ($15.46 tax inc.) and it was really good. My friend got the Big NY and split half with me and this was tasty as well. I can tell they use fresh ingredients. I actually came here for the chicken Caesar wrap but they are only available early on the week, forget the exact days... I will be back for these. Absolutely delicious meals. I truly don't think you can go wrong with any thing you select. I can "eat out" without feeling too guilty. I ended up getting the Big NY sandwich and the guy up front recommended getting it as wrap and I'm glad I took his advice. The steak was juicy and pairs well with the feta crumbs and hints of the Leon on cilantro vinaigrette!
Füdgarten is a great place to get your healthy kicks going on smoothies, foods, and more. The past few times I came here, it was always delicious. You leave here knowing you tried different drinks or food off the menu, and it's yummy each time. Plenty of seating options, all forms of payment are accepted and shared parking lot with other stores too. Staff is helpful on any questions, too. Great overall options on the menu. It can be a little expensive, however we haven't found many places compared to Füdgarten and it's definitely worth the visit. I personally like eating the food at Füdgarten than bringing it to go. More fresh, tastes are amazing.
Took my daughter for the first time and she was not impressed by the western omelette because they did not chop any of the ingredients and mixed it together with the eggs it was just all put together as a whole but my El Toro with chicken was amazing
What can I say... I'm in love with Füdgarten, and everyone knows it! I dedicate this #ThankYouThursday to you... for being Awesome and Amazing! Always freshly made to order meals with local grown ingredients AND it's a healthier food option. Service is welcoming and heart warming (just like their brownies!) with plenty of seating- indoor and outdoor. Grab this to-go or dine in. Your tummy will thank you and crave more. My go-to meals are the steak quesadilla in which I add chicken for the more protein kick. BUT... my favorite daily special is on, none other, Thursday- #ThankYouThursday that is, and it's the Aztec Chicken... FINGER LICKING GOOD!!!!! Come hungry and leave happy, AND don't forget to grab a homemade brownie or cookie... you will be AMAZED! Thank you for a blissful feeling Füdgarten!
Wow this place is not only delicious but everything is organic! I had a homemade brownie with walnuts while I was waiting for my food, and oh my God I could've just eaten that. I had a Cobb salad which was incredible, also the big New York sandwich with real fillet. My friend had the Tuscany sandwich it was both cheesy and delicious if you were in the fort lee area this is the place to grab a Great sandwhich or a great snack! They even have burgers

Füdgarten - where life meets flavor! The food scene in Fort Lee is bustling and competitive. This organic, fast casual eatery doesn't fail to stand out from other businesses. I've been enjoying meals here since 2021 and I've never been disappointed. Füdgarten is the ideal spot to grab a healthy bite during a lunch break, after a work out, or for dinner. There's plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in. The interior is modern, clean, and inviting with lots of greenery. Their menu is built on natural ingredients and bold flavors. You can choose from diverse options like salads, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, protein shakes, etc. They use grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, wild-caught seafood, and locally sourced organic fruits and vegetables. They carefully craft their recipes and every item is made with love and care! Yes, the prices are on the higher end. But I'm happy to pay for higher quality food... because what you put into your body matters A LOT ;) I've tried a little bit of everything and they're all delicious. The food is packed with vibrant flavors and generous portions of protein. My top recommendation would be the Big NY (~$16). It includes steak, onion, mushrooms, romaine, feta, and lemon cilantro vinaigrette. I usually get it on a whole wheat wrap and it is to die forrrrrrrrr!!! The steak is super juicy and tender. All of the ingredients work so well together! One bite and I was in love. I also love getting a side of baked sweet potato fries ($6). Even the ketchup they use is organic and only made with REAL tomatoes. Don't forget to grab a bottled Kombucha ($5) from their fridge - a tangy, fizzy, sweet, and refreshing drink! The owner, Mike, is the man!!! Haha he's very welcoming, personable, and really cares about customer service. He's the type of business owner that will remember your name and order. And the cherry on top... they have their own parking lot. That's a major perk in this area. If you haven't been here before... get to it! read more

I forget exactly what I got but I turned it in to a wrap and added grass-fed steak. It was good and filling! The gentleman working, I'm not sure if he was the owner, was very nice and helpful! This spot feels like a hidden gem. Everything tasted fresh, such a good option for anyone really! read more
I've ordered delivery from here before, but finally stopped by for a quick bite after gym - my wife and I enjoyed the wholesome taste, right portion, and the diverse health-focused menu. First, the place is located right in the heart of Fort Lee with its own parking lot that does fill up, but you can always find street meter parking nearby, and is clean, spacious & inviting. We had a chat with Mike the owner and he seemed serious enough about healthy eating to show me his before & after pic of eating healthy, and the menu options reflected it. (First - for delivery, my wife had ordered the El Toro bowl with wild caught fish before... and that thing was DELICIOUS... it's substantial, fish perfectly seasoned, just order it already) Wife ordered the Body bowl topped with chicken (extra $5) and fresh slices of avocadoes and it was light yet full of flavor in every bite. The potato in the bowl helped make this quinoa bowl substantial enough that she had some leftover (for me) to enjoy the next day. I had the Creole burger due to seeing so many reviews raving about it, and it delivered for the most part. What I mean is that while the first bite did not "blow me away" with bursting flavors, it instead got me a full bite of wholesome-tasting, juicy beef, that was subtly seasoned with accoutrements and paired perfectly with the more-seasoned side of large potato wedges, the healthy kind I make at home. So it was enjoyable while not overwhelming the taste buds. At first, I thought the quantity was a bit on the smaller side, but once I took a bite, it was hefty enough that by the time I got through the burger and the potato wedges, I was quite full! Looks are deceiving. At $13 for the bowl and $13.5 for the burger, I thought everything was reasonably priced, and I genuinely enjoyed talking to Mike afterwards to find out the challenges of opening right as the pandemic began (ouch!). He seems to be making all the right moves - and I'll definitely be supporting Fudgarten for my lunch & dinner needs because of their health & sustainability-conscious food that is delicious and does not break the bank. I am so surprised that I have never Yelped this place. One of my go-tos in the area! Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Aztec Chicken - all SO Good! They use high quality products in their food and provide great quality beverages. Prices are fair for the items you receive but may appear higher than a typical fast casual establishment. All in all - I visit when in town. read more

I tried the viral Chicken Caesar wrap, and honestly, it was a letdown. First, the size was MUCH smaller than what's shown on their social media--super misleading. Second, $15 for just the wrap (no fries!) feels overpriced. The service was the real issue, though. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was off. The cashier was rude and gave us major attitude. When we got our food, it wasn't even served to us like other customers-- similar to Starbucks; had to get it ourselves. No big deal but when more people came in, the vibe completely shifted. Suddenly, other customers were getting better service, small talk, and friendly interactions, which made our experience feel even worse. Overall, the service we received was unacceptable and disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I am so happy to have found this place! I am always looking for somewhere to go when I don't feel like cooking, or just a staple place that doesn't serve crap and this place is it. The food is phenomenal and it's very chill. I'm so happy we live close to Fudgarten and ingredients I can actually trust! read more
Füd ist good, aber Füd ist also teuer (expensive). I was looking for something healthy after my gym workout, and this place worked well. I had a steak and rice bowl which was actually lecker (delicious). They also have some pretty great tee options. You're welcome for the German lesson. read more

First time ordering, and I'll be giving them another try, even though my meal was far less than stellar! Reading the reviews and looking at the pictures my guess is that you need to enjoy your meal right after it's prepared. My meal traveled for 45 minutes before eating and it did not travel well at all! The chicken club bread was toasted, which kept it from getting soggy, but it unfortunately went the other way and was very hard to the bite! The baked potato fries and baked sweet potato fries are very tasty, but the portion is very small and they are a poor value. My Pollo Argentina had quite the oil slick underneath from the chimichurri sauce! It was cold, dry, and hard after a 45 minute trip. I'll check them out again, ordering different items when my meal doesn't have to travel! read more

Here's my review of the new healthy spot that is in Tea Bar's old location. Pretty good place, I really enjoyed my tuscani panini. For a price of 10.50 for it, I would say it was worth it. Obviously not the healthiest food to get I know, but at least I didn't get a bacon panini. Place was quite busy when I went, glad to see new businesses open up that are different types of food. Used to go to tea bar all the time for their sandwiches, very happy a place where I can get sandwiches opened up. Will definitely give some of their salads or healthier options a try next time. Smoothies were super popular while I was waiting, would definitely try one if you're a fan of those. read more

This place is fantastic. they have grass fed meat AND wild caught fish. prices are so good for the quality of food that you're getting and the daily specials are always delicious. I wish I could give more stars, they really nailed a healthy flavorful menu. read more

Second time here and I tried their salads. I ordered the fudgarten salad with grilled chicken and it was very tasty and a large portion size. My initial order was incorrect so they made me a fresh new salad, which was good customer service. It's located in a small plaza so their is a parking lot but it can get filled quickly depending on the time of day. However, there is also street meter parking as well. Overall, good healthy option in town. read more

My new go to for a healthy & organic meal to start my day. To really keep up my vegetarian/vegan diet lol. I went on two separate occasions and enjoyed both times. What's not pictured is the sweet treat shake I've gotten to pair with both my meals. Sweet treat with oat milk, I love how they have both almond & oat milk options. Sweet treat shake really is a treat! A really good spot to hit after a workout at the gym as well to get your protein. You can add vegan or grass fed whey protein to your shakes as well! read more
