Went the other night with some friends and really loved my meal. I got a plate of half chicken and half beef gyro served with rice, salad, and a very delicious pita - it was so good! The way they season the meats is very well done and that bread was so enjoyable. They gave us a yogurt sauce so making little mini sandwiches out of it with the bread, sauce, salad and meat was the right way to eat it. And then of course followed by a few bites of the meat with the rice. We also got some fries on the side which were solid....they are the thicker cut fries which aren't my favorite but they coked it to perfection and were nice and crispy. Will definitely come back for this same meal again soon. read more

Turkish Gyro - Turkish Near Me - Cliffside Park, New Jersey

Portions are huge (you can easily share 1 order per 2 people). Spices and flavor are great. Meat is lean and well trimmed. All very fresh and would highly recommend. read more

I'm new to the area and had been relying on Uber Eats for every meal. I found Turkish Gyro, and it's easily my favorite spot near North Bergen! Their chicken gyro wrap is delicious, generously sized, and packed with savory, healthy ingredients. I went with the avocado sauce, which added a perfect creamy touch. The house salad was fresh, crunchy, and a great side. Their service is fast and prepares with care. Definitely a go-to from now on read more

I was craving food after work and looked for places in the area when I stumbled upon this place. Ended up trying the kofta platter and chicken gyro. The sauce, the salad, the fries, kofta, and chicken was all delicious. Will definitely return to try the beef and lamb gyro. read more

This is my new grab-n-go sandwich shop for gyros and kofta wraps! Loveeeeeee their kofta wraps and the side of spicy and white sauce is tangy and zesty. Can't get enough of it! You can dine indoor for some good service as they aim to please. read more

Hole in the wall place. I ordered the beef Turkish gyro. It was good. Hit the spot. Service was decent. A bit pricey tbh. Food was fresh.

Ordered a falafel gyro for lunch with a piyaz salad. Falafel was good even though they completely forgot my sauces and the salad was $6.95 for an 8oz container. I'll probably go back since it was good read more

Ordered delivery via Grubhub. Ordered the chicken gyro box meal with a Diet Coke and side of pickles/japapenos. The meal is supposed to come with chicken gyro, salad, fries, two sauces. All I got was dried chicken over plain salad. No sauces, no fries, no pickles, no soda, and I received instead some weird white drink that no one could identify. This tiny portion cost almost $22!!!! Either they messed up my order terribly or they are a huge scam. Tried to call to get it fixed, they couldn't understand that it was wrong and refused to assist. *update* called two more times, got hung up on both times. *update 2* dry. No sauce included. Spiced meat over plain salad. Not bothering with the drink as I don't know what's in it and couldn't trust it. Worst experience I've had with any order, from any restaurant, to date. read more

Since moving here wanted to find a good gyro like we used to get at Greek Village in Northvale. Unfortunately we picked up a gyro at Turkish Gyro in CP. The worse gyro we ever had, dried out meat, no tzatziki, not enough lettuce, onions, tomatoes. Now the bread.. not sure what it was but it wasn't pita. Nothing had flavor. Threw both out. Want a great gyro? Visit Greek Village in Northvale & you'll know why it's so busy. read more

This place serves a beef gyro on awesome bread! ...I went with both sauces, but hold the onion Woman at the counter had a pretty smile Really, really good and memorable read more

The beef gyro plate is what you order. Actually their burger is also pretty great. Fries are fresh and not frozen. Everyone is lovely and totally one of my go to places in area now read more

I was lucky enough to be able to come on grand opening day. First of all, I want to start off with the atmosphere. It is a very friendly vibe. As I was sitting with my family, I noticed the frequent amount of foot traffic. Everyone was asking for a menu, excited to see what was being offered. So I usually eat gyro at a different spot, but I heard specifically that this spot would be doing chicken gyro which is why I was excited to try it. I was impressed--the portions were very generous as you can see in the photos. I wasn't even able to finish my entire meal, that's how much food was on my plate! My favorite was the homemade ayran that you can see churning in the machine in the kitchen--can't get fresher than that! Prices were super reasonable and I'll definitely be back. read more

The food is absolutely delicious! I've had the chicken & beef gyro sandwich as well as the platter and both are great. The platter seems to be a better sized portion. A bit pricey otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Great food and all of the workers are extremely friendly. read more

Worst food I ever had in my life ... and l love love this type of food .. meat was like leather chewy and just awfully gross

Very good. It was a lot for one meal. I ordered a gyro and the meat alone in one can make 3 gyros.

A different gyro experience. I like the gyro wrap. Very tasty meat flavors. I am not a fan of their sauces as I like the traditional tzatziki sauce. Good enough to not need sauce. read more

Definitely my favorite gyro place in the area, and I go at least once a week. Staff is always friendly and accommodating to any changes I request. read more

Low quality and stingy with portions. Places like this learn the hard way how to treat customers, by going out of business.

Outstanding service and food! The portions are large and when you ask for it in a sandwich, it has a nice soft crisp to it which was delightful. Ask for the hot sauce in your sandwich (it's not hot at all, just more like flavorful). The chicken and beef shawarma were both equally great. The kofta was tasty as well. Also, the place was very clean! read more

Employees are so lazy and they were not friendly we asked a wet wipe and they said you can come and take it they are not professional. They only take care with you at cash register desk for the money! I never recommend here read more

Best Turkish gyro in the area. Great Ambience, fresh ingredients and great staff. Highly recommend.

Delicious food , nice and friendly people And super clean . is our new favorite place now .

For the price the food was not that good. It was delivery so maybe better when it's fresh. My was pretty bland and very greasy. I couldn't get the meat smell of my hands for hours after eating it. I wasn't blown away by anything I ate. The portion of meat they gave you also isn't a lot for spending nearly $20 on a sandwich. I wasn't blown away. At that price point we honestly probably will be skipping this place in the future. read more

I was recently treated for lunch and I must say the gyros are AMAZING! So flavorful! I cannot wait to order for myself and try their other tasty menus options. The food was beautifully presented and felt light, not heavy. Very healthy as well as delicious option for lunch or even dinner! read more

I was not sure if I would order from this new place since I saw it was empty (not peak hours). I am glad I decided to try it anyway, don't let an empty restaurant deter you from trying anyway, you might find a gem as I did. I had the beef gyro and it was one the best one I had tried in the area, the meat was delicious and not too grease, all vegetables very fresh and they finish it on the hot press which makes the bread crispy. Very flavorful sandwich I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. Go to this place for sure you will not regret it. read more
