So today is November 17 I had a scheduled moving time of 12 PM to 3 PM. Right now it is 3:08 and I have they have not arrived and until a minute ago they did not call and I had to call them. They said they were still coming, but of course, that means that I'm going to be moving late into the evening and maybe even dark. This was for my sister who lives in an assisted living facility so of course we're seniors, and moving at night was not planned to say the least I am seriously disappointed. this also means that the entrance that is closest to the door they're going to be moving from will be locked and they will not be able to open it because the janitorial service will be gone. read more

I would give these guys a ZERO star rating if possible. Somehow I didn't see the terrible reviews, I wish I had. I contacted them 2 weeks prior to my move and scheduled the move between 1-3pm. I called the day of to confirm, the booking guy named James, apparently moved my time slot to 3-5, without telling me! To make matters worse the movers were running so far behind they couldn't even make it at 5, I never received a call or text message until 8pm asking if I still wanted them to come. SMH this company is a joke. I called Community of Champions moving and Michael was able to schedule me in, LAST MINUTE and finished the move professionally and at a better price than this crap company. I've used them twice for my moves and the first time was really quick and I was very satisfied with their service. The second time they were late but of course that was due to Mother Nature. I will say the professionalism of one of the driver was sub par, everything/everyone else was fine and kept me informed throughout the day with ETA. I hired these guys to help pack up my truck for my move from New Orleans to Dallas because they'd help me move in the past. First of all, my appointment was scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and they didn't arrive to 9:00 p.m. James, the owner/supervisor, never answered my calls or texts. They just threw my stuff on the truck and when we got to New Orleans everything they were supposed to wrap, tie down and secure was strewn all over the truck. These guys booked a move with me 2-3 weeks in advance. I prepped our move very well and was ready for them to arrive between 2-4pm. Talked to them at 3:45p.m. and they were still in another city 1 hour & 10 minutes away. Confirmed with me they were still coming. Then minutes later sent me a TEXT and stated they were canceling the appointment. Never heard from Miles again. What a joke of a manager. HORRIBLE Customer experience. My move got totally screwed up. These guys are superheroes. The main guys name was Dennis and was very cool about the fact alot of my stuff was not boxed. The other two guys were polite too. These dudes were big and strong and moved my stuff like clockwork. Hired these guys 2 weeks ago for a move today. Scheduled to meet at 9 am, 10:30 I called to get an eta and was told they had issues with the truck and it would now be 1:00. At 3:00 I still had heard nothing so called again and was told that it would be around 4:00, at 5:00 I called several times and was sent straight to voice mail each time. Finally at 7:00 they call back and apologize saying they were in an accident and that they'll be there in the morning. Thanks but no thanks! They may be reasonably priced but reliable and professional are not words you can use to describe them. Thanks for wasting my entire day! For the prices they offer you, you can't get much better of a service from them. These people do exactly as what's in their name, move your stuff at a reasonable price. Terry and James were my movers, and they were exactly what I wanted. They worked hard to move my stuff and complied with all my requests without question or complain. Don't listen to these other reviews, because you should give them a chance, they do give you a good move for the lowest prices I've seen. As long as you pack your stuff well (That means taping the bottoms of broken boxes) and label the fragile stuff, you most likely will have a good move. read more

I had a goo experience with these guys. The crew showed up on time, called ahead to let me know when they would be there. I had almost everything packed, they stayed busy loading the truck, and one guy helped wrap and pack the few special items left. They were very careful with my boxes and furniture, didn't bang walls or scrape anything. Followed me to storage unit and unloaded and packed and stacked everything to fit in the storage unit very well. Overall very positive experience, pleased with the crew and company. James sent these guys Gray and Josh. Gray was an old guy and teaching Josh about the job. But why it has to be in my appointment? Almost every furniture got damaged starting from couch, coffee table, study table. They even scratched the walls of my new place. Gray was so tired that he was carrying the couch pillows while on the clock. I had to pay them extra for the luggages. Then they have the audacity of asking for tips. They arrived on time without the right tools to take furniture apart. They proceeded to loose parts to our bed after we ended up almost doing it for them. They were all about cutting corners rather than doing thing correctly. As they drove away, after NOT putting our bed back together, we tried to call their cell to ask where the missing bolts were and they refused to answer the call or return our call. The Most unreliable and unethical experience I have EVER encountered. I had my move scheduled for May 15, 2015. I scheduled my move almost 11 days prior to the move date, James, at Reasonable Movers, setup the move date and stated he would call Wed., prior to the move date, to confirm everything was still scheduled. James called on Wed., as he stated, so I was feeling like I had "reliable" movers. I was scheduled between 3-5 pm, and was to receive a call 30 minutes prior to the movers arrival. At 4:30 pm, I had heard nothing from James or the driver (movers). I called Reasonable Movers and James acted like he didn't recognize my name, and stated, "the movers still have 30 minutes to be at my place". I stated I was concerned because they were to call 30 minutes prior to arrival and I hadn't heard anything. James stated he would contact the driver and call me back. James NEVER called me back. Close to 6:30 pm the driver calls me and was very difficult to understand (very poor verbal skills), telling me they've been backed-up ALL DAY and they still have 2 more jobs before mine! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had left work 2 hours early (vacation hours), rushed home, only to find out 4.5 hours later, the movers would be over six hours late. I called James several times during 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and he would NOT answer my call. James is a deceiving, unethical, highly unprofessional individual and I wish I would have conducted a background check on this moving company. The conclusion to this nightmare was the movers NEVER showed up and NEVER called!! I was fortunate enough, after calling movers for 3 hours, to find a RELIABLE moving company that made me their first move the following morning. All of my scheduled appointments for Saturday had to be rescheduled during the week, therefore, I lost additional hours from work due to James and this moving company! This company should be called UNRELIABLE MOVERS!! James, this message is for you: You had ALL DAY to contact me and let me know the movers were running behind. You LIED, when you didn't even have the decency to contact me, a Customer, to apologize and let me know what the status was on my move. You are the POOREST excuse of a representative for this so-called moving company. You should be FIRED and I am contacting the appropriate individuals to file an official complaint against you personally for your highly unethical, unprofessional manner in which you handled my move. Additionally, I am contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have advised a very large corporation, my employer, as to WHO and WHY I had to take off so much time from work and my company highly suggest I take such action. I used them in June 2015 to move my out of a 3rd floor apartment to a storage facility. They got me moved in under 2 hours and never complained about the stairs. They did ask to be paid in cash for the move which I had no problem with. I also tipped the three men and provided water as it was at the start of the Texas summer. My first experience was great! I used them again June 2016 to move from the previous storage and my experience was much more horrible. I had an afternoon appointment scheduled between 3pm-5pm where I took off work expecting the delivery. While waiting for them to show I got a call from one of the movers close to 3pm saying the person ahead of me had more stuff than they thought. He said if it gets too late then they'll have to deliver the next morning. This call came from the mover, not the moving manager. I called the manager 4 times and never received a courtesy call back. I never got a call from the mover that they in fact would not be delivering on the agree upon date. I called the manager again the next day to confirm when delivery would take place and still no call back. The actual movers called me to say they wouldn't get to me until after 3pm. BIG INCONVENIENCE to me. They arrived at 3:45pm and we finished at just before 6:30pm. At the end of the move they asked for cash payment again and on top of that, a full payment for the move. No discount for not delivering on the agreed upon date, no discount for not making me the first move of the day, nothing. I told him I still had to wait until after 3pm to get moved and you didn't make me the first move of the day either. I refused to pay the full amount because of my inconvenience. I asked for the movers to let their manager know I was still expecting a call back, an apology or something. One said "yes sir, I understand but could we at least get a tip?" Still no call back from the manager till this day. I will not be using this company again. Not professional at all. read more

I had a move scheduled for March 28, 2015. The time was set between 1 and 3. The movers called me at 12:45 on the day of the move to let me know they were finishing up the move before me and they were getting something to eat and they would be heading toward me soon. Well, 2:00 rolled around, I called and got no answer, 3 o'clock rolled around and I called 3 times before I got an answer. They then told me that they just finished loading the move before me and that they had to go unload and then they'll be heading toward me. It was 4 o'clock then. I really think that is bad business. When I told the movers not to worry about moving me he got an attitude and told me he's not the one who does the scheduling. He was the one called and told me he was finishing up with his prior move at 12:45; he could've kept that call to himself. I would never refer my friends or family to them. BAD BUSINESS!! read more

Five stars cant even justified the service these guys have done for my family. First and foremost, the agent James was ASTONISHING!!! The hourly rate I was given just proves why the company is called Reasonable Movers. Second, they showed up on time and not to mention with a third mover at no extra charge to me. The movers performance was surprisingly amazing given their size. Third, they shrink wrapped and padded all of my furiture at no extra charge. Saving the best for last, when setting up my move I told James I think it will take at least a minimum of five hours, the movers got it COMPLETED in 3.5hrs. The movers were swift on their feet and they all had such friendly personalities. My two little ones (5 & 6 years old) enjoyed helping them out. I was told by James that if I referred a friend I would recieve a $25.00 referral fee, but I told him for the rate that he has provided me with, the extra crew member he sent FREE OF CHARGE and the job his crew had compeleted for me, dont even worry about it. just take care of my family and friends the same way he and his guys have taken care of me. Most definitely I will use and refer reasonable movers to my friends, family and any anyone reading this review!!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! They are thieves. I had them move me from a small town to Mesquite with about 4 pieces of furniture and about 12 boxes of stuff containing dishes, pots, etc....One box held my crock pot only with the lid and its missing. I've looked and looked and its not at the old place nor at the new place. I was standing on the front balcony watching them unload the boxes from a Budget Rental truck (??) and the top box fell off onto the parking lot. It sounded breakable like my dishes, so when the guy picked it up cussing I ask him was it my dishes he dropped and he said no the box had bathroom written on it. I let it go but I shouldn't have. It could have been the missing crock pot that broke, but instead of being honest with me he lies and then it goes missing?? I also have a digital clock missing too that was in a box with no lid. I have tried calling the guy James who set up the deal with me a thousand times but all I get is a recoding that keeps saying "all our current reps are busy with other customers and to leave a message or a call back number"...NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK.
