Jonathan and his team helped us move today and they were absolutely amazing! They were so patient with us and worked really well with our needs. You know how apartment moving goes.. some times, your unit isn't exactly how you imagined it to be and there are corners and curbs you don't expect to be there on the day of the move. WELL! That's exactly what happened with our huge a** couch. They twisted it. They turned it. Nope. Nothing was working. They brought the couch all the way downstairs and Jonathan had this idea to remove the door to create more leeway. And what do you know.. it worked!! I was literally looking up apartment friendly couches and was planning on putting our current one in storage/selling it lol. Thankfully we didn't have to do that because I love this couch. To do what they do.. in this Texas weather.. I applaud them. I'm so glad we got such a great team (even the agent who booked our move was extremely professional and got back to me in a timely manner, main reason why we booked them in the first place!) Will definitely be moving with them again next time.. maybe in 2 years haha. read more

The quoting process was fine, they got back to us in a timely manner. But the real disappointment is with the moving process. We got 2 young guys who didn't seem very well trained on best moving practices nor were they very well prepared in materials. They didn't have any mattress bags nor enough saran wrap to protect our mattresses or headboards. Luckily we had bags and bubble wrap left over from our last move so we used that. They were also going to use the dirty moving blankets to wrap our mattress but we asked them to use saran wrap, which they did but they ran out of saran wrap and left half of our mattress exposed during the move. When moving our consoles and couches, they also packed them into the truck so that the 4 legs of the heavy furniture would bear the brunt of the traffic movement. When we first moved out here, the other company took the legs off and laid the furniture on the side, effectively spreading the weight across the entire console instead of focusing it on the legs. I had to ask them to do the same thing because I didn't want to risk ruining the furniture. When it came time to move the mattresses into the new house, they dragged it over the mud and ripped the bag, and if we hadn't caught that, they would've brought the muddy mattress bag inside. I hate to micromanage but I feel like if I didn't, our furniture definitely would've gotten more damage / mud / dirty than it should have. The young guys seemed to work hard, but they were woefully untrained and ill prepared for the move. read more

We had a very good experience with these movers on a recent cross-town move. The team of 4 men arrived on time and were hard working. Some of the movers seemed to have very little experience packing and moving furniture and boxes. The supervisor was polite and respectful with us, and efficient and organized with his team. We had a few casualties in the move. One of the less experienced movers dropped an antique dresser on its back. Luckily, there was minimal damage to the piece, but there was some damage to the wall that it hit. We also lost a large planter because it was inappropriately nested with other heavy items. During the unloading, the supervisor was focused on unloading the truck for the other three team members, which resulted in minimal oversight for the items coming into the house. They were not as careful with the newly painted walls as we had hoped. Also, some things stacked too high that risked falling over and causing more damage (e.g., expensive stereo equipment on the bottom of an uneven/balanced load). In other cases, they left boxes in the middle of the rooms (instead of moving the boxes to the walls) making it impossible to bring in other items or walk around. Once we realized this was happening, we had to intervene and supervise each load that came into the house. Overall, we were happy with our experience. read more

Reliable and hardworking movers! The team of 3 guys: Valery, Ivan, and Vlad were fantastic. They arrived on-time during the 9am-10am arrival time slot, and worked diligently. They were friendly and made sure we had clear and good communication throughout the move. Our apartment was on the 4th floor with no elevator, so when they had to take a quick rest (very reasonable), they were upfront and communicated that. Great experience with these movers! Setting up the move with customer service was straightforward and easy. I talked to Jon over email and the phone, and he was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I gave him some additional info and a map on where the movers should park the truck, but that wasn't shared with them. That wasn't a problem though, since Valery called me when they arrived, and I walked them to where the truck should go. Overall, great experience. Hard working and diligent guys who did a great job! I've now used this company twice! Both times were above par. These guys are great! They moved our three bedroom one story house to a three bedroom two story house in under three hours! They were very careful and wrapped everything. Before the move, the company answered any questions I had quickly. Victor and his crew was courteous and quick. Pro's: Fast response and was able to accommodate my short window to move. Movers called ahead of time Received the deposit over the phone to schedule my appointment. Con's: Broken light bulb on an expensive floor lamp. Cracked wood on the legs of a heavy wood desk, caused by how the maneuvered the desk. Chipped wood on an entertainment center piece I have an expensive Norditrack treadmill, which the movers found convenient to stack heavier objects on top of the platform, scratching up the sides. Left items back at the old location that were supposed to get loaded up. Overall, these were young kids that arrived to move me, it felt as if I hired my nephew and his friend to move me. They did great setting that up and were much faster than any other company I've used. They did not sacrifice carefulness either. Booked this company after reading reviews and I'm so glad I did! We had two employees from the company move us since we just had a studio apartment. These guys were amazing! They were efficient, very fast, friendly, and professional. From the very beginning of booking the communication was fast and clear. I had a couple follow up questions before my move and they were all answered. They also took very good care of our belongings. They wrapped up our couch and book shelves. I have had a terrible experience using a mover in the past, and so when I had to relocate I was extremely anxious. I found this mover on yelp and was given a very competitive price for the job. What stood out to me a great deal was the email with the quote I was sent. It was extremely detailed and let me know that I was the only one they were moving. The truck they were using was just for me and they were not going to go through a third party where I would need to wait 15 business days before getting my stuff. Long story short, the price I was quoted was the price a paid. No low balling BS! The mover Alex and his team were on time, pleasant, and extremely professional. None of my stuff was damaged. Everything was treated with care. When I had questions for the sales reps prior to the move, they were answered timely and clearly. This company is fantastic and needs to be recognized for it! Chose them based off their good ratings. They were scheduled to come move me at 10 am they did not arrive and get started until 3 pm. I had to reschedule my entire day / move. The guy that came to move me had a very heavy accent and was hard to understand. They moved my stuff to my new apartment just fine. When they were done I let him know that the manager called me earlier and let me know that they'd be offering me a discount he said he'd have to check on that. Then he harassed me for a tip and asked for a tip twice before I even finished counting out my money. Management called afterwards and apologized and tried to make it right. All in all I think they mean well and maybe it was just an off day for the company. read more

TERRIBLE. They took over 8 hours to move a one bedroom house. They dropped and broke my brand new 2 day old Google Home device while carrying a chair one of the guys was trying to balance it on top of his head. And it hit the ground right in front of me, and he just said sorry. The truck was too small, ended up having to drive back which they discounted for the inconvenience. However it took so long I missed a concert we had tickets for that we'd bought many months before. I called 5 times and left multiple messages during the Saturday move due to all the issues and no one called me back. No one called to see how the move went. Very disappointed. I hired these guys at the last minute and they were able to get me in. The crew I had was right on time, they called when they were headed my way and gave me plenty heads up. They arrived and got right to work. The movers also wrapped all the large items in a blanket and Saran Wrap prior to loading them on the truck. For two regular sized guys they did an amazing job! Once we got to the new house they unloaded just as fast and then put items back together and hooked up the fridge up and unwrapped everything. I used Expert Dallas Movers to help me pack my own truck for a long-distance move. The reservation process was simple and communication was adequate. The movers showed up pretty close to the expected time and jumped on the task right away. Gotta give those guys credit - they worked hard and finished in good time. Unfortunately, I discovered an issue when unpacking the truck. They had put a wardrobe box inside the TV space of a media hutch. This wouldn't normally be a problem but they had the box turned in such a way that the hanging bar edge was against the finished base instead of the back of the hutch. This resulted in severe, deep scratches in a $10k piece of furniture. Had they just turned the box 90 degrees, or put other boxes in the space, this would not have occurred. I have not addressed the issue with the company as I'm just too tired to deal with it. Overall, I think this is a good service. I just recommend you keep an eye on your good pieces of furniture and ensure they are protected well. read more

Excellent top notch... professional service. They responded via email very quick and gave info that they include all the above with dis assembly, shrink wrap, tape, blankets etc...this wasn't even the beginning we needed some speciality things wrapped and they came through. Most companies offer it but the actual wrap job with Expert City was a pro job not some Craigslist joke....again these guys are great! We also had lots of stairs and they didn't even complain...
