This was my third time using their service to move a 1B1B apartment. The first two times went fine -- each took about 3 to 3.5 hours, and that's why I trusted them again. But this time? Total disaster. They charged me almost 8 HOURS for the exact same size move. From 9 AM to 4:45 PM -- are you kidding me? They didn't even start moving until around 9:20 or 9:30, and then moved like they were taking a casual stroll in the park. I asked them why this time was so ridiculously slow compared to the last two. Their excuse? "No elevator" at my old place and "your stuff is in small boxes and bags." That is complete nonsense. My new place has an elevator, and I used larger boxes this time to make it easier -- unlike the last move where neither location had elevators. And yet, that move only took 3.5 hours. There is no possible reason this one should take nearly EIGHT HOURS unless you're deliberately dragging your feet. And get this -- I even helped them move! I literally carried stuff myself while they moved slowly and inefficiently. When I brought this up to their supervisor, instead of acknowledging the poor service, he blamed me and said I had "too many things." Give me a break. It's a 1B1B -- and you guys have moved it twice before in half the time! I even attached a photo comparing the invoices from both moves -- one was 3.5 hours, this one nearly 8. Their supervisor had the audacity to say he'd refund me for 1 hour if I didn't leave a bad review -- that tells you everything you need to know. He knew it was shady but just wanted to shut me up. Avoid Leader Movers at all costs. They've clearly gotten lazy and greedy -- working slow just to pad the bill while pretending everything is normal. I'm furious and disappointed. I asked for a fairly complicated move on very short notice and they were able to accommodate on my time-table. This move was one part professional / technical equipment delivered to a professional office and one part personal items delivered to a residence, both on separate loads from a central storage location. The guys were able to completely fill the truck on both loads in short order and made the trips to the new locations (both in a different city from the storage location) very quickly. The speed kept the overall cost down. I was very pleased with the value for the money and the courteous and respectful service the movers offered. Best moving experience I've ever had. Alex and Yurii were very professional, efficient and well organized. I wish I could boast about the same great experience other reviewers had, however, my experience with this company was a nightmare. Initially, we were told that our move would be fine with just three movers and one truck and would take six hours maximum. That sounded great. It turned out to be all wrong. More movers were needed, the truck was too small, and the move took almost eight hours. In addition, our furniture was turned sideways, causing contents to break and the furniture to be damaged on the edges. The movers considered my drawers to be too heavy (there were only socks, pajamas, and undergarments in them) and emptied out my undergarments (yes, ladies! These guys will just grab your bras and toss them wherever they please because they're "too heavy"!) without so much as asking or even saying where they put them. I still have not found where they put my socks and other unmentionables. The movers also failed to read labels properly and left many boxes clearly labeled "UPSTAIRS" on the master bedroom on the lower level. I have no idea how I will be moving these boxes back upstairs, as when I hired movers, I figured they would be handling that part. This company is unprofessional, will lie to make quick buck, and fails to correct their own errors. I regret having found this company and hope this review prevents anyone from dealing with a similar situation. read more

We booked three hours with them and when they arrived they immediately let us know it would be 5-6 hours because of the elevator and long walk it took to get to the loading area of the old place. They did the job in FOUR hours! Not only did they move everything, they took great care with all of my belongings with meticulous wrapping. After scheduling a move date, the company followed up with an email outlining the process and simple terms. A few days before the move, another email confirmed the time and introduced the crew. Highly recommend! I was looking to move my one bedroom apartment in Lewisville to downtown Dallas. I called several moving companies- most of which quoted me around $100 - $125 an hour. I found Leader Movers online and gave them a call. I was quoted a more affordable amount that ultimately led me to choosing them. It is $75/hour if you pay cash and $85/hour if you pay card. The rate is for two movers with a minimum of three hours. This rate also comes with free insurance. I put down a deposit of $50 and also purchased the Yelp deal ($20 for $40 worth of moving services). The company confirmed my move the day before by text and I received a call this morning from the movers. They told me that they would arrive in about 45 minutes. They were a couple minutes early and got to work right away after I signed the paperwork. I had Tim and Terry who were incredibly quick! They made sure to delicately wrap my furniture and televisions. I had a lot of small boxes and bags, which they were able to consolidate. I was really impressed with their efficiency and teamwork. After an hour and ten minutes, my whole apartment was loaded onto the truck. It was about a 40 minute drive for me to get to my destination with traffic. They ended up getting there faster than me! All in total, my entire move was 3.5 hours. I estimated that it would take about 4 hours whereas some other companies estimated 5. For 3.5 hours, it was $263 (cash) minus my deposit and the Yelp deal. This left me with a bill of $173 and I gave them $240 total. None of my items were damaged or broken.
