Outstanding service from Evolution Moving Company! The 5 young men who helped us move a 4 bedroom house and storage unit were simply amazing! They were extremely polite, respectful, and patient. These young men had fun doing their job even though it's hard work. They were funny and playful with each other, (in a wholesome way... kudos to them) you can tell they all get along, they all worked hard and never once complained. Shout out to Mike, Isaiah, Kaleb, Lorenzo and Ryan... You Guys Rock! I would hire this company again! I also want to mention what great care they took with every piece of furniture, wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap. I have gone back and forth about writing this review because I strongly support local companies and I know any bad review can have an impact. After a discovery last night, though, I decided to write about our experience. I reached out to Evolution Moving based on the positive reviews on Google. I received a quick response to my inquiry and Terry came out to do a consultation and provide me with a quote. I have to say, Terry is the absolute BEST! Throughout the process he was the one person I could reach out to and count on to take care of things. He also was the only person to apologize about what happened, but we'll get to that part. We moved out of our large home and put things into storage while we looked for a new home. I also asked Evolution to pack some items so the whole process took 2 days. They arrived on time the first day and everything seemed fine, except that I walked around the house and found little items that hadn't been packed - things in our closets and bathrooms that I had to make sure didn't get left. The second day went fine and everything went in storage for about 8 months. We found our new home in Aug and called Evolution to move our things from storage. This took one day and when they left they hadn't put mirrors on dressers, they didn't put together an entertainment unit and our daughter's trundle and bed were still in the garage. They also broke one of our vases. I reached out to Terry who immediately apologized and said the owner, Cameron, would come out to fix everything. Over the course of about a week everything got taken care of (they also lost some screws to our bed which they had to order), but Cameron never apologized for what happened or offered any discount (this move was not cheap). I don't know how, but the guys lost the cord to our Peloton, broke one of the bottle holders, lost the container on our steamer and last night we realized we don't have one of the items that was in our bathroom. My husband even had to remind the movers to refund us the blankets we "borrowed" from them when our items went in storage. Outside of Terry, our experience left a lot to be desired. read more

I went from shocked to angry after the movers left Tuesday. I have hired dozens of movers and Evolution completely dropped the ball. I had boxes which the mover refused to use and charged me for theirs and I had paper which they did use, took what they didn't use and still charged me for theirs. There is cheap tape on literally everything and all of my items were flipped over. They put the furniture in places to "stage them" and then refused to move them because they were "finished". Don't be fooled by the salesman. You are not going to get him. read more

Evolution moved furniture into storage for us and did not unwrap the items, including a high quality leather recliner sofa. They recommended leaving everything wrapped would protect it, and charged us for the moving blankets used to wrap. We retrieved the furniture this weekend, and the sofa, sectional, and a set of chairs was covered in mold, and unusable. We are out thousands between the storage fees, moving costs, and junk haul fees. We reached out to the company by phone and email to request they make this right and have received no response. Our new movers said that it was pretty basic knowledge not to leave furniture wrapped up in storage, particularly leather. My advice is to stay away from this company. read more

Cameron offered us $200 to take our review down. I declined his offer. In addition to paying them $8500 we had to hire a second moving company to bring the rest of our home to us. No attempt was made by Evolution to get our things to us. We are now exceeding $12,000 for this move. They left behind the golf cart shown below, multiple antiques, jewelry, and a safe deposit box that includes irreplaceable documents, crystal lamps, a spinning wheel, and shoes in boxes in the closets. They left comforters, sheets, toiletries, and delivered only the bottom pieces of 2 antique dressers. They left the mirrors behind. The list keeps growing. Well besides the golf cart, Ryan. There were many other items left. Valuable items. Then instead of offering to resolve the issue, You tried to stuff all the items onto the fold cart and hitch a ride with the car transport company so you wouldn't have to pay for it. read more

This is the best moving experience I've ever had. Sean is a great guy. He was my contact person and was part of the moving crew too. Cameron followed up after the initial agreement. They came as promised, even earlier, but called in advance to check if they are allowed to come earlier. They packed and move all the furniture as promised and more, they even moved my clothes from my closet. They made sure my bed was well-taken care of and didn't allow it to touch the ground unprotected. They did amazing job! It was a little high but they stood behind their work and made the appointment on time even though it was pretty short notice and even came back a few days later when I couldn't take something apart that I asked them not to put together but nobody was there to make sure so it's understandable. Find someone else to handle your move! We had a move scheduled with Evolution. The crew showed up and did a great job. We had one more load that needed to be moved. Rather than completing it then (it was mid-afternoon, so there was time), they suggested coming back the next day. That was fine because we had two more days to complete the move. The leader of the crew told us they would be back around 3:00, the next afternoon, to move the last load. I sent a follow up email, that evening, confirming what we were told. No one had arrived, by 3:00, so I sent another email. (no response) At 3:40, I sent a text. (no response) At 4:30, I called and left a voicemail. I finally received a return phone call, letting me know their guy had made a mistake, and they didn't have a crew available. I said that was fine, we just need to have it moved tomorrow, since that was our deadline. I was then told, they don't have a crew available tomorrow and there's nothing they can do to help. We only had one small load, that would have taken less than an hour, but they were not willing to do anything to help fix the mistake their guy made. Mistakes happen. That's fine. Poor customer service doesn't have to happen. That's not acceptable! They made a mistake, and made no effort to fix it, leaving me with only a few hours to try to fix it on my own. read more

The process was very easy from start to finish. I got a quote very quickly after calling, the guys all showed up on time and they were so nice! They moved my stuff from two locations to my new house in about 7 hours and they were very careful not the scratch walls or damage anything. Evolution Moving gave us such a great experience. I found them on yelp for my in-laws' move from Carrollton all the way to the Austin area. They were quick to respond, made the reservation process so easy, and were so great to work with (Tom was my contact the entire time). They showed up on time, and were incredibly accommodating. My in-laws had many irregular objects which made the move and accommodating everything extra hard, but Tom and the team of movers were so cordial about everything. Even when a second truck was needed! They sent the extra one in just a short time and the extra charge was really reasonable. The team of movers were so nice, friendly, fast and efficient. Cedric, Terrence, and Malcolm made a stressful event soooo much easier and flawless. They were all so respectful, of us as well as all of our stuff. The moving team showed up exactly on time. They worked fast and quickly got us moved out of a storage unit and back into a home. Nothing broken, nothing dented, including several large appliances. The young men who did the work wrapped everything that needed wrapping and strapped down items to prevent shifting. Their truck looked newish and was registered, with current licensing. The team was polite and diligent. We had three stops on our move instead of the usual two-- most of the storage unit to house #1, and several items then had to be moved to house 2-- and we still came in under budget. What an extraordinary experience! Seriously- hard workers can be found in light blue shirts saying things like "yes ma'am/sir..." here in North TX! The guys (PJ and Josh) were efficient and careful and had that pep in their step that communicated respect for time. They were professional and completely reasonable in price. I was told 8:30-9AM and they called saying they were on their way at 8:10! Wonderful! It's not easy to impress my Marine Corps father- and he was even impressed. Good quick and very convenient. I had a complicated move and they pulled it off flawlessly. Only area of improvement (and its only a tiny thing because it was raining and not sure how they could have avoided it) was to do a better job keeping feet clean when coming in. I had tons of questions and they were super responsive, professional and personable! I opted for the packing and moving option. Now I'll admit I pre- packed some things just because that was my preference. The morning of I had an arrival estimate of 8:30 to 9:30 and they were calling me at 8:30 to let me know they arrived. From that moment on, i didn't have to lift a finger. They were quick but careful with all of my things. Dre and Hunter were amazing!!! They were kind and patient when i had questions. Tom was my team lead and he did a fantastic job both days! This is a great company to use if you are organized and ready for the heavy lifters to sweep in and make short work of your move. They dismantled beds quickly and pad-wrapped all furniture for the ride. If you need more assistance, they can do it, but I didn't use them for packing glassware or artwork. Evolution Moving was the best moving experience we've had in Dallas. They were great communicators and worked very efficiently the day of the move. They were extremely careful when packing/transporting our items. The only thing that I'd say is that I was quoted 3.5-4.5 hours to complete the move and it took 6.75. However, I never felt like Sean and Dre were moving slow on purpose. Just wish my quote time was more accurate. Would definitely use again! read more
