    Wildcat Dream Team

Chad and Joseph were great. Extra care and expertise in all they did, with two stops before destination. Believe me when I say I have used the ".... and a truck" and another "....." ... a lot better with wildcat....

    Damages to my driver side

Did not use this company for moving, however, I did have a terrible experience with them. I was doing yoga outdoor at Grigg's park when a nice woman walked over and told our instructor there had been an accident. After realizing it was my car she was describing, I walked over to the street with her and saw what had happened to my car.... Luckily she had taken a photo while they were still there, because they bolted out of there as fast as they could. Apparently they backed into my car when trying to turn around. I saw they left a phone number on the windshield and that was it. Not only do they clearly not know how to operate a moving truck, they also DO NOT HAVE COMMERCIAL AUTO INSURANCE? How are you operating a well managed moving business without insurance?? This has been a nightmare to deal with and they have accepted no responsibility, yet to compensate for the damages they caused. Would not trust this company to do the right thing, as they have yet to for my situation.

    Scratches on dining table

If I could give no stars, I would do it 100x over. I had the worst experience with wildcat movers. I hardly leave reviews but I cannot let this slide. This is a very long post but I highly recommend reading before touching this company with a 10 foot pole! First issue: they did not take my son's climbing dome apart to transport to the new house so they threw it over my fence to get it out of my backyard. Before they could even leave the neighborhood, it fell out of the truck and they couldn't get it back in. Our time is running while all this is happening so my husband tells them to just take it back to the house because we're literally at the stop sign of our neighborhood in the road. They carry it to the back of the house and throw it over the fence AGAIN to get it back into the backyard. Second issue: they attempted to get my reclining couches upstairs. They tried the loveseat, couldn't get it around the corner or the stairs and gave up. I looked up YouTube videos, asked chat gpt, called the manufacturer, and everything told me that the backs of the couches could be removed. The movers looked around with their flashlights and couldn't see the levers to remove the backs so they didn't even try to take them upstairs. I asked them to bring a couch down that was already upstairs and they didn't even do that. They left my couches scattered in the living room, didn't put the feet back on, and left. I had to hire someone else and pay them to remove the backs and get my couches upstairs that night. Third issue: they forgot the hardware (screws) for my son's bed and dresser at the old house. They left without getting the bed and dresser put together. They told my husband that him and I could hold the mirror up and push the dresser under it to hold the mirror up. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and it is not our job to do what they're supposed to do! They also left his mattress wrapped in plastic with tape all over it. Fourth issue: they scratched up our dining table during the move and tried to say we did it. We are a family of three, we eat in the living room or kitchen island 98% of the time. Our dining table is very well taken care of and always protected with table cover when we use it. The damage was absolutely caused by them. Fifth issue: they forgot the hardware for my son's monkey bars at the old house. They left them on their side in the back yard and other part of it in the house. Sixth issue: we have a glass two tiered tv stand. They removed the glass for transport, put the tv stand where we wanted it and didn't put the glass back. The glass is still wrapped in their company protectors against the wall next to the tv stand. Seventh issue: they left the light bulbs for my vanity behind and could not finish assembling it. I called the company twice while they were here. I was guaranteed that they were going to get the couches figured out and up the stairs (I was so upset about the couches because I have new ones coming that I didn't notice or focus on everything else until after they left). I was told their manager would speak to the two men working and make sure my couches got upstairs, that did not happen. They left without getting the couches upstairs, when they told me they weren't going to try again bc they couldn't figure it out, I tried to call the company back and it was past 6pm so they were closed and I got no answer. I told the lead mover to call his supervisor and tell him I need to speak to him, he called him and his supervisor said I would have to wait until tomorrow (Saturday) to speak to someone bc the office was closed. The two movers told me if we could figure out how to remove the backs and if we found the hardware for the bed and monkey bars, they would come out the next morning for free to fix them. I told them they do not have permission to charge my card until I speak to a manager about my experience. I woke up this morning and was charged $600 more than I was quoted. I called the office and asked for a manager and got told that managers do not work on the weekends and I need to call back Monday. Monday is Memorial Day so I don't know if the office will be open then anyways. I feel like I got played. I was lied to multiple times and left with unfinished work. I was charged more than I was quoted. It took way longer than it was supposed to and all they had to move was large furniture. We did not have them transport any boxes or small items at all. I took pictures of everything and sent it before I signed the contract and was advised I only needed two movers, given an estimated time of 7 hours to complete the work, and the quote. There is absolutely no reason any of this should've taken this long, there is no reason the work wasn't done, there is no reason I was charged before a manager called me, there was no reason for all the lies. Please, please, please save yourself the trouble and never, ever deal with this crooked company.

    Happy customer!

Can't beat Wildcat Movers! They exceeded mu expectations at a very fair price. Don't waste your time shopping others. Crews are very professional, and careful with possessions. You won't be sorry, and no need to worry! Alex and Jacob are the best!

Worst moving experience yet. They took 8 hours to move a two bedroom apartment. One of the guys spent some time of that move watching a football game on his phone. They damaged a lot of our stuff. The didn't put our bed back together properly, there's screws and washers all over the floor falling out under it. They made us take a pic with them and post a review in front of them, which explains all the high rating reviews that were coerced. They also lost some of our boxes and left a lot of things at our old apartment that we had to go back and get on our own. When we contacted the company about how the bed was not put together properly, we received no response.

More damage to walls from reckless handling

Avoid this company at all costs!!! These movers showed zero respect or regard for my belongings and treated everything with complete carelessness. Items were handled roughly, and it was clear they had no concern for damage or customer satisfaction. If you value your possessions and want peace of mind during a move, look elsewhere! Unless you want holes in your walls scratches on wood floors and damaged belongings!

Tell and JD. Great team, great customer service.

Trail and JD ....This moving team was great! 5 stars!!! They were courteous and thorough. Excellent customer service

These guys were great!! They were extremely nice and worked super fast! They took apart and moved a king sized bed for me and got it downstairs with no complaints!

Thank you for making my move easy!

Thank you for making my move easy. You handled everything with care and communicated with me every step of the way.

    Great job by these guys.

Victor, Justin, and two more of the team (wish I could remember their names - they were awesome) came out to move us from our storage units into our new home. They did a great job. Professional and hard ass workers.

The movers walked off the job after I disputed a large tip charge that I didn't authorize.

Do you offer long distance moving? If so, how far are you willing to move a customer and what is your pricing for long distance moving?

How much you charge extra for the packing of all fragile things/cloths, assemble/de-assemble of furniture etc?

In my experience with them as a customer, I only saw a charge for time (plus a reservation fee so you're unlikely to cancel last minute on them).… Read more

However, I can say with confidence that Firehouse Movers is a phenomenal company. Our move was smooth, and they were a tremendous help. I highly recommend them!

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

You know how apartment moving goes.. some times, your unit isn't exactly how you imagined it to be and there are corners and curbs you don't expect to be there on the day of the move. WELL! That's exactly what happened with our huge a** couch. They twisted it. They turned it. Nope. Nothing was working. They brought the couch all the way downstairs and Jonathan had this idea to remove the door to create more leeway. And what do you know.. it worked!! I was literally looking up apartment friendly couches and was planning on putting our current one in storage/selling it lol. Thankfully we didn't have to do that because I love this couch. To do what they do.. in this Texas weather.. I applaud them. I'm so glad we got such a great team (even the agent who booked our move was extremely professional and got back to me in a timely manner, main reason why we booked them in the first place!) Will definitely be moving with them again next time.. maybe in 2 years haha.

The quoting process was fine, they got back to us in a timely manner. But the real disappointment…read moreis with the moving process. We got 2 young guys who didn't seem very well trained on best moving practices nor were they very well prepared in materials. They didn't have any mattress bags nor enough saran wrap to protect our mattresses or headboards. Luckily we had bags and bubble wrap left over from our last move so we used that. They were also going to use the dirty moving blankets to wrap our mattress but we asked them to use saran wrap, which they did but they ran out of saran wrap and left half of our mattress exposed during the move. When moving our consoles and couches, they also packed them into the truck so that the 4 legs of the heavy furniture would bear the brunt of the traffic movement. When we first moved out here, the other company took the legs off and laid the furniture on the side, effectively spreading the weight across the entire console instead of focusing it on the legs. I had to ask them to do the same thing because I didn't want to risk ruining the furniture. When it came time to move the mattresses into the new house, they dragged it over the mud and ripped the bag, and if we hadn't caught that, they would've brought the muddy mattress bag inside. I hate to micromanage but I feel like if I didn't, our furniture definitely would've gotten more damage / mud / dirty than it should have. The young guys seemed to work hard, but they were woefully untrained and ill prepared for the move.
