I pretty much paid to move myself and to lose items. I booked this company through Budget Vans and it was down hill from there. Here's a list of what went wrong: They didn't show up with any of the boxes agreed to, refused to start until I paid them half of the fee, refused to take half of what I was shipping (so i had to move it myself, leaving me to throw away whatever I couldn't fit into my car and it was new items too), wouldn't listen when I called about issues with the move, manager said that i needed to pay them so i can receive items because he said i wouldn't pay when they picked up, they delivered my items from storage with rodents (they chewed through my workout bench and destroyed a whole box of dry pastas in my pantry), I had to throw away a dresser because they wanted another $300 to move it eventhough I was was below my allowed wait, they even ran out of room in their trailer before everything was packed, ripped the mattress bag i was required to get which was stained with some dark liquid, almost every item was soaked in either oil or water. They didn't reassemble anything (completely gave up on couch and bed), They walked straight onto my carpet without whipping their feet. Overall... this was a disaster. I don't even want to contact these people able this f ing mouse that was not here when i moved into my house. There were no rodents when i had the past inspection completed. They were great! Packed up the home quickly, and even assembled and disassembled my furniture!

They showed up on time and ready to work. They moved out all my things unbelievably fast. Granted I only have a one bed room apartment, but it was still very impressive. When we got to the new apartment they even offered to help me set everything back up like the old apartment. It was so hot that day I wanted to give them a break so I gave them some Gatorade and let them go. Will definitely use them again the next time I move. Highly recommended. read more

So, long story short: People: They send 3 workers and small truck, no matter how large or small your house or apartment move is - 1 white guy (prick), 1 non-white guy (nice guy), 1 brown guy (confused guy) and 1 smartass but idiot owner. Modus Operandi: They are trained to take it slow, like real slow and send a super small truck to add trips and time to the move as they charge by the hour, it took these "guys" 4 hours (actually 3hrs 35mins but they charged me 4hrs) to move a 2bedroom apartment stuff from 1mile south of 183 to 1 mile north of 183. The small shitty truck went back and forth 3 times to get my stuff from my old apartment. Beware of this tricky guys who know how to squeeze money out of their customers and be total rude and disrespectful. If you want professional service go with other moving services in Irving, I hired Go with Beto's Moving and Delivery Services, these guys are much much better and for sure better than lazy ass Inbox moving guys; save time money and stress and go with someone else than inbox moving. read more

We had a great experience with Inbox moving company just few days ago! The two guys Jose and Alphonso were hard- working and courteous. Jose was especially very fast and knew his job very well. Overall the cost for moving was reasonable as compared to other quotes I got - almost half. We are happy with their service and recommend it for any move. They provide shrinking wraps, plastic etc and they pack your furniture quite fast. It is advised to pack your TV securely in a box and styrofoam yourself if you want movers to move it. Otherwise you can haul it in your car as we did (just a minor tip to avoid any stress about damage to expensive and light weight items). They do provide 60 cents per lb damage coverage per Texas law. Also, remember to box up all the items you want movers to move; they won't pick things that are in trash bags etc. They also unhook your washer dryer for you unlike some other companies and move it. We followed these instructions that were communicated to us by the manager Mily well in advance and our move was hassle free. We hope yours goes smooth too. Best! read more

I have to do one star here. I went with this service because they were family owned. The movers didn't put together anything they took apart. They left an entire washing machine and dryer behind and told me that we didn't tell them that it was there. They rushed so much they left their straps and tools behind in my old apartment. The moved my mini fridge and left it upside down with everything in it. The freezer began to Thaw out causing leakage on to other furniture. They really did the bare minimum. I did receive a call Friday before the move on Monday (today), which was somewhat reassuring. This morning, Beny and his partner showed up, on time. I was a little rough, again do to the reviews. Don't do it- don't make the mistake I made. On day one, 1 of the 2 movers said he had hurt his knee a week prior and could barely do any lifting. I ended up assisting the second guy. By the time we finish the storage center is closed for the night. We call the boss, Stephanye, and she says okay we'll get it first thing in the morning and wave the travel cost. Day 2 They show up and ask me to run to Walmart to get them moving blankets since they said they needed 2 more and when I come back they're smoking in the cab with more items to unload and didn't even use the blankets after all. They finish and Stephanye not only bills me for that days travel fee after being told the day prior I wouldn't pay it, but there's also an over $20 transaction fee since I paid with credit card and I got billed for nearly 2 more hours than they actually worked...apparently them simply driving to your location starts the clock for them and they will round their time up to the following hour. They broke a massive 5' mirror that I had in addition to some other smaller items and they told me to contact Stephanye, which I did as soon as they left...it's now been almost a week and no response from these guys. Okay maybe it's my fault for not taking the name "inbox" literally. They only move furniture and things that are in boxes! Imagine my surprise on my moving day when I got that information! I had a TON of stuff in bags. Until this day, I still have large decorative pictures, whatnots and other items in my car that they didn't move. The one thinner Hispanic guy seemed to be in charge. He worked at just above a snail's pace. The heavier Hispanic guy was literally grabbing the smallest/lightest furniture and items and putting them in the truck. I was completed peed off to say the least. I would have went with ANY other moving company had I been informed of this prior to booking them for the first time. Past movers have moved any and everything that I have to move. The manager was supposed to possibly give me a gift card for not being informed that they won't move anything but boxes and furniture. We we're really optimistic about using this moving company due to the reviews. They were not only a little ahead of schedule but at the beginning they began to move items very quickly. Then things turned the minute I had to ask for the driver Jose (who was extremely rude) for a drivers license to give to our concierge to hold in exchange of the key fob. He informed me that he did not have a drivers license. So I proceed to ask the other gentleman. He handed me an identification card. At this point I became concerned that movers from a moving company are about to move my belongings with no drivers license. Ok wait maybe he meant he didn't have it on him.... we're my thoughts. Now the truck is fully loaded and we're in route... as we're waiting 20 minutes at the storage facility we run to McDonald's close by and what do we see... our movers getting lunch. I had an excellent experience today with Inbox Moving. Jake and Cody were my movers. They called just before the arrival window, showed up on time with a large truck, and got right to work. Both men were very friendly and efficient. Moved my 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor to a 1 bedroom on the 1st floor just about a mile away in about 2.5 hours, as expected. What a joke. $1000.00 to move one truck load. Biggest rip off. They took 10 hours to load up the furniture and move it. He disappeared for 45 mins to 1 hour, while the other mover keep bring in items of mine. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with so called professional movers. The movers by the name of Michael and Oliver arrived 10 minutes early and as I began giving them directions on how to get into the apartment Michael began aggressively speaking to me and telling me Im not making any sense. I was a little shocked at his demeanor but I continued explaining the layout of the building. He rolled his eyes and made gestures to indicate he was frustrated. At this point I let him know I would not deal with his attitude and that I am a paying customer deserving of his respect and professionalism. We called the office immediately at this point in order to inform the owners or management. We were told that this particular worker has had other incidents where customers complained about his bad demeanor but that "he is a hard worker and gets the job done". They even offered to send another crew which would have taken 2 additional hours to arrive. We informed them that our gates would only be open for the times they quoted us so if the new crew could come we would be happy to accept. At this time the movers began angrily placing our furniture in the street. Long story short the movers took 5 hours to move a 2bdrm apartment with elevators. They dropped furniture, banged furniture and even sat my daughters $450 suede overstuffed beanbag on the dirty ground while they arranged other things. This company is the worst. No communication skills and also lack of customer service skills. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The worker stood in my living room after the move and demanded $200 additional because of the additional time they needed!! Wow...good luck getting that sir. read more

William and Kevin delivered my antique table within the time frame quoted, calling on their way to confirm I would be there. It was wrapped and packaged very well! They were careful in moving it into my home and setting it up - even moving my old table out of the way and into my garage. They were very courteous and professional!!!! Highly recommend! read more

The movers were 1.5 hours late because "the first job was bigger than we thought". I was not informed until I called to inquire where they were. The movers did not have any shrink wrap because they used it up on the first job. They also did not use any furniture protection quilts. The guys were very tired when they showed up and were clearly not working at their top performance. Before starting to load the truck, we discussed that 3 large items would be taken to a secondary location AFTER the main location (made more sense for driving). The movers completely ignored our discussion and loaded those items last and insisted they be dropped off first. The change in order added a minimum of 20 minutes to the travel time. The bedframe was not reassembled properly and a part was actually left behind. It took 3.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I've had a 3 bedroom house with much more furniture and boxes moved in less time by a different company. Due to the movers being late, we were still moving items in at 9pm which was probably quite disruptive for some of the new neighbors. Overall a pretty terrible experience. One star is considered generous in regards to this company. After 55ys in one home, I moved for the first time. Unfortunately I used this company, they were supposed to wrap my furniture and move all the boxes safely. Neither happened .Nitemare continued when we arrived at my new address. Multiple antiques were broken ,they broke my Queen Ann dresser. Lost all my electric cord's. Left the mirror on the other dresser on the floor did not reconnect any of my Tv's. The cherry on top was after being quoted $250.00 I was charged over $500.00. Wait it gets worse 5 boxes 2 antique end table's were missing along with my Medications for heart and other meds. When I realized all the issues witch was within 48 hrs. I spoke to one of the co-owner's of the COMPANY AT INBOXMOVIMG@GMAIL.COM, His name Was Mark. He was condasending, rude and told me to feel out a clam form then proceeded to tell me good luck on my claim not to expect any compensation our see my things again. MARK then hangup on me. So this was my experience with INBOXMOVIMG@GMAIL.COM I hope I can save some one from there nightmare from moving.
