We hired Teleport Movers for a local house move in DFW in 2026 and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The movers arrived late and there were communication issues with their team from the beginning. The onsite team's phones did not have service. The move itself was disorganized, and the pace of work was very slow despite being billed hourly. Several items were damaged during the move, and the job was actually left unfinished when the movers ended their shift. After the move I contacted the company to discuss the issues, but the response was very unprofessional, and the concerns were not resolved. Could not say enough about this awful experience, and lesson learned to not ever cut corners when securing a team to move your home. Save yourself the money and the time and go work with an established moving company - it is worth it. read more

Terrible. It's so hard to get a straight answer out of anyone. I spoke to 3 different people about the same thing and they just kept repeating themselves but not answering my question. I was told the last time I used them that I would get the first 3 hrs of my next move AT NO COST and the truck and 2 movers. So I called to see if they service the area I'm moving too and they said they do. I know from the last time I used them they are very slow so I asked for a total of 6-7 hours because I need to account for the 1 hour drive time as well. I was told it would be 365 for 3 hours NO HIDDEN FEES, then every hour after that would be 115. So I asked if that's for the total 6 hours since I have the first 3 hours free. The person I was speaking to said they don't do that and acted like I was lying until I sent the screenshot. He then comes back and says that it's going to be 257 for the 3 hours since I'll be getting 108 off. I asked him to clarify because that wasn't making sense so he sent an email. The email made even less sense because in the email they have in bold, No hidden fees but then they are saying I need to pay for a bunch of different things with the free 3 hours. So they are saying that the text they sent me that says First 3hrs at NO COST, actually means that I have to pay 257 for those first 3 hours and for the last 3 hours I have to pay 365. A manager returned my call and while she was rude and condescending at least she actually explained that they are liars rather than trying to beat around the bush. The owner, Robert, was very professional on the phone and seemed helpful however he hires simply incompetent and rude movers. Not only did they throw the entire contents of our daughters room out of her second story window breaking several things, they broke numerous pieces of furniture and literally threw our boxes off the side of moving truck, breaking the boxes (which he then claimed were "poor quality boxes", however were NEW AND JUST PACKED BY BUDD VAN LINES) - his workers disrespected me and insulted me and threatened to leave with our belongs IN FRONT OF OUR YOUNG CHILDREN and then spoke negatively about me in Spanish, while inaccurately assuming we did not understand Spanish. When i reached out to Robert to complain and try to resolve the issue he merely offered $500 off of a $4000+ job and showed no remorse for the destruction of over $1,000 in furniture and personal belongings. His company does not insure your belongings other than $0.60 per POUND - that's it. His crew drove under half the speed limit to our new house and claimed it was to keep our furniture and belongings safe, but between that and their constant breaks standing around the trucks laughing and talking about us, it was apparent they were milking the clock trying to get extra pay. They were so disrespectful to my family and myself - and refused to even finish putting our furniture back together (beds!) or place things in the places we asked. We could not wait to get them out of our house. I sincerely regret paying them - my sister and I both spoke with him to try to resolve it and he simply insulted my furniture for being "old" and my boxes for being "poor quality" I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE MOVERS. I've moved one of our kids at least once a year for the last ten years. Almost ALL movers consider recliners, couches, washers and/or dryers, etc. to be 'normal' items expected in a move. Not Teleport. They consider those items to be big, heavy and large items and tacked on an additional $90 for the 'big, heavy and large items' (which was 1 couch - no washer/dryer, no recliner). When I was surprised I owed almost another $200, I tried to pay the additional amount with my credit card/debit card. The manager wouldn't accept that. In the beginning, the move was extremely smooth and quick. It wasn't until I started to unpack my items that I found they broke a cabinet that wasn't a year old. They didn't wrap or pad any of my items, which was included in the amount paid. I made multiple attempts to contact the company to resolve the issue. I was told they would contact me back within 24 hrs. It has been a full week, and they are now avoiding my calls. I even tipped the drivers $40 and brought them breakfast. After breaking my TV stand and scratching up my artwork, I simply asked to not be charged for the rest of my move and a refund because the damage they did was well over $700 and my move wasn't going to cost that price. Instead I was told it was my fault because I flipped the tv stand over by myself to look at the damage and that's what actually caused the damage. Makes sense huh? Oh and on top everything because I asked the manager what was going to be done about the damage, they stopped the move all together and told me that if I didn't pay they would call the cops and hold my furniture in the truck until I agreed to pay. read more

We enlisted teleport for a move this last weekend. It was an overall AMAZING experience! The guys were unbelievably fast and cautious. We had to move from one 3rd floor walk up to another but the movers had great attitudes the entire time, always smiling. They were so professional and friendly. This company also goes my Michaels movers. We had our move scheduled for August 27th and their arrival window was 7am-10am. I call at 8:30 to give them my husbands phone number and that's when they informed me that their truck is broken down. Michael himself said "we were here at 7am, started the truck and there's brown stuff leaking". If they were there at 7 am and found this, why weren't we notified until 8:30 when I called? Michael found a "replacement moving company" who showed up at noon. This consisted of two young boys, one who was on his phone half the time, taking 10min breaks after every load, and threw our stuff around like it was garbage. The other guy was great, he carried our TV stand on his back up three flights of stairs. My husband and I had everything out in our apartments hall ready to load by 8am. All the guys needed to do was load the elevator with the boxes that were RIGHT THERE, and load into the truck. All in all, it would take maybe 20 steps to get from our upstairs apt, down the elevator, and to the truck. Yet it took 3 hours to load our 1 bedroom apartment + small storage (5x7ft). We were also suppose to stop at a storage unit, a mile away from our new apt to drop off a few things. This added a $60 charge. Fine, cheaper than a uhaul. Since it took 3 hours just to load the truck, we decided against making this stop and just going straight to the new apt and we would take things to storage ourselves. We were not refunded for the extra stop. Once we got to the new apt, it was up 3 flights of stairs, however, my little brother in law made 3-4 trips before the movers would make 1-2. That took another 3 hours. Again, one of the boys was taking 5-10 min breaks in between each load, on his phone, sitting down half the time, etc. We called Michael that evening to express our dissatisfaction with his replacements. He said he would pass the info along and give me a call back. He never called back. I called this morning to see what could be done and I was met with a voicemail. I sent a text instead and just expressed that I didn't appreciate Michael not calling me back. We still wanted to know who the other company was so that we could go directly to them and talk about our complaints. Michael responded and took no responsibility, he said he did his part out of good faith and doesn't want to deal with us anymore. So here I am. The company he sent instead, their prices were different and it took the movers a total of 6 hours to move a 1 bedroom apt. We are out an extra few hundred dollars because one guy wouldn't get off his butt and phone and waisted time the entire day. We are specifically out $60 for the extra stop that wasn't made. It was a 12 hour moving day for a 1 bedroom apt and that is unacceptable. Michael says that only unprofessionals quote time for moves, he doesn't quote time or a price until he gets to the first location of a move, (red flag), yet the other quotes we got all quoted us 4 hours or less, 2 guys, and better moving equipment than what was provided. Next time, we will make sure to spend a little extra money to make sure we aren't taken advantage of, lied to, gaslighted, and out $400+ because of Michael and his "professional team" read more

I got them through Groupon. I should have known it's not a good place to work with when they charged me 2x more on top of my Groupon purchase. They broke some of my item ( brand new TV stand and ripped mattress). When I tried to relay this information to them they were difficult to get ahold of and the response was "did you sign the waiver taking responsibility?" That is extremely unprofessional and trying to defer accountability. I never expected them to refund me but an apology for handling my items with 0 care would be nice. Follow up: the owner gave me a call and was very polite and professional. He offered to give me a refund and let me know about my issues. I hired these guys without vetting. I was VERY clear about the need I had - move all of my heavy items- which I listed one by one plus packed boxes. The move was only 1.2 miles away. I had already moved about half of my household items myself. The boxes left were large boxes for easy moving. I agreed to a 17" truck knowing they might need a second trip even as I've moved enough to know that was not likely. I don't have 34' of items. On moving day two very nice, but small young guys arrived. Long story short. They low stacked the truck, took forever, loaded the truck twice & after six and a half hours - I still have half of the items left that I needed moved, & still have heavy items in my old house. They wanted to run a third time but I refused. This isn't the fault of the two loaders, I blame their boss Robert & Teleport Movers. This $350 job turned into just under $700. I've had to hire another mover to get the last two bulky items and am moving the rest myself. Had I let them keep going it would have been well over $1K - I have no confidence even that would have been enough time either. Robert will say he didn't know what I had but I was VERY clear. Plus I moved my entire house from from AR to TX in a 26" truck. These guys give low estimates to get the job then run the clock by sending unprepared, & too few movers and not filling the truck. They blame the customer for the reason they had left scratches on the furniture and never took responsibility of not being careful enough while moving. I would understand 1 small scratch but they left 3 big scratches on my kitchen table. These guys rock!!! I've used them multiple times and made the mistake of using a different company on my last move. After my 1st moving company was more than 3 hours late, Teleport was able to fit me in to a slot the same day. The other moving company showed up after making the appointment and took almost 3 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment out of a 1st floor unit into their truck. Fearing they were just milking the clock, I asked teleport if they could just send man power to help move everything out of the truck up into the 3rd floor unit. Teleport was badass and running circles around the other company. They brought up almost all of the heavy stuff, without complaint and finished unloading the truck in less than an hour. I just used Teleport movers on Friday and they were great! Jared was our head mover - he and his assistant made for a very smooth move. They took everything I had at the initial stop and carefully packed it in the truck plus asked me if I needed help loading or unloading my car with my more personal belongings. They pointed out if there were scratches or anything wrong with pieces before moving them so I was aware and knew it didn't happen during the move. When we got to the new house, we told them we specifically booked the three hours so they could help us move around furniture within the house. They were super helpful and we moved our media room plus bedroom furniture to other rooms. We still finished right before the 3 hours and stayed on schedule. I hired this company to move me. The first time with the first group of men was great and fast. The second time the second group of men was worst. They flirted and made passes at me. They told me they were not moving all my storage. They found out my church was paying and charged them for the full three hours but only moved what they wanted for one hour. Then begged me for a tip saying the manager will not tip them. I spoke to the manager and he argued with me saying he's not going to give the money back. He tried to prove that he was right. I had a recording of what was said I didn't want to argue anymore. I told him they will have to take it up with karma. I was a little disappointed with my move. I called Teleport Movers, unaware they contract out. On moving day "Able Body Movers" was the company that showed up. I should have just booked directly through them if I had been informed I wasn't going to get a Teleport representative. The guys were quick and efficient.... almost too quick because I found a few tears in my leather couch, scratched on my island, and a crack in my headboard. I have done moves big (cross country) and small moves like this one (under 10 miles) and wow---these guys were the BEST!!!! They confirmed expectations and that my goal was to have certain things wrapped, certain ones not, and how much time I would like to allocate for the move. To be totally transparent, this was our first experience hiring movers, and we packed everything ourselves. That said, I'm not really sure how we could have had a better experience. Start to finish, from scheduling the movers to signing the invoice after the move, everyone we worked with was extremely professional. I had called around to a couple of places but the moment I got Robert on the phone, I knew this was the right company. He was straightforward, kind, made me laugh, and literally spelled out what I would pay for and why. Nothing was hidden. No sort of upsell was pressed on me. What he told me we would pay for is all we paid for. Robert himself = 10/10. The movers were not particularly chatty; they were clearly there to get the job done but were respectful. I signed up for 2 hours, but the job took 3. This really wasn't a problem. The movers worked efficiently, not recklessly fast or lackadaisically slow. I have no complaints. I did notice a few scratches on some of our dining chairs, but I honestly believe we would have done the same if we moved them since they aren't the highest quality. They sufficiently protected our furniture otherwise, wrapping things and stacking them safely. All in all, we 100% recommend these guys. Next move, I know who I'm calling! I called to schedule a move about 2 weeks before my preferred moving date. When I spoke with Robert, I said Friday March 23 was my preferred date but honestly didn't expect to get that date and was flexible. He said that date would work and I scheduled for 3 movers with a 12-3 window so I took a day off work. The night before I got a text that there would only be 2 movers. Fine whatever - too late to do anything now. On the day of the move I heard from Robert they would arrive around 2:15 PM. The movers didn't show up until about 6 - so I wasted a day off work for nothing. Since there were only 2 movers, this lasted until 11:30 at night. I imagine they were exhausted by that point but they just left all my boxes in the dining room instead of the rooms I asked they be put in as marked on the boxes. The only reason this isn't one star is Ismael and Carlos did a great job of wrapping my furniture to ensure it didn't get damaged. I did tip them as I don't fault them for being over scheduled in a day. Overall, a dissatisfying experience. I was so excited at first as the communication was as great but the day of the move was disappointing for lack of communication, showing up late, not getting the number of movers requested so it wasn't a 5.5 hour move, etc. I will not be using them again in the future. read more

They advertise within a 50 mile radius of 75074 and it includes Dallas Fort Worth yet they will go out to Mesquite (28 miles from them is where The pickup is) but will not go to Sunnyvale (21 miles from them is the drop off) to deliver. Strange that Sunnyvale is closer to them than Mesquite is. Probably because I told him I saw it on Groupon! I'd give 0 stars for customer service if I could. read more

I had a great experience with this company. The guys finished their previous job and asked if they could come early. They showed up and got to work. My items were moved efficiently, weren't damaged, and they didn't take an out of the way route to up the charges (like some companies do). 2 guys came even though I had requested and made clear I would pay for three. One of them was appx 130lbs, looked physically disabled, and could not lift my furniture without much difficulty, and I heard it dropped several times, as well as the grinding against walls of our new house as it did. I called and begged the owner Robert again for a third guy, but he said he has only has 2 men crews, but that "they are all very experienced." Turns out, it was only the second job for the mover in question. I called Robert after reviewing and getting an estimate for all the damage they caused to the furniture and home. While it was 2-3 weeks after the move before I called to complain, I had already told the movers that Robert needed to call me directly after the move, which was almost 1K, even though you are promised a deal, including Groupons. Btw, Michael's movers and teleport, as well as others, have the same company owner with the same staffing, so stay away from both. We had new furniture and a new house, but the pics illustrate what we ended up with after this awful move, which Robert offered me $100 back on--ridiculous! read more

I have used Teleport for my past 3 moves and these guys always go above and beyond! During my most recent move Carlos even took the time to fix a piece of my bed that had broken prior. Robert, the owner, was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of if I needed to make any changes or had a question. Every time I've used Teleport the movers have been very friendly and efficient, quickly (but safely) transporting my items in the quoted time frame. They provide their own plastic, blankets, and other equipment and will wrap your furniture for free! And they don't charge extra for taking a toll road like other companies do. read more

I booked with another company but Teleport Movers showed up. It was a nightmare from the beginning as they tried to get me to pay extra for a third mover that just happened to be with them for a later job and then said I would have to pay for extra time becuase they couldn't move the stuff I had in the three hours I had booked. The actual movers themselves were good enough and did a decent job but the company is shady at best. If you use them beware that they try will to upsell you and get you to spend much more than you planned or what is reasonable just because it is more hassle to send them away and find someone that is reputable. Don't be fooled though as it is still best to send them away and find someone else. read more

This is my experience with them. I don't like hiring people who move slow on purpose. This wasn't them trying to be careful either. They want to clock extra hours for money But, this is the worst experience I have ever had with movers. These guys were slow and did not know how to maneuver furniture. They also didn't know how to stack in a truck. One guy only cared about the money and did anything so he didn't have to work. He was on his phone and goofing around. I had to tell them they were the clock. The manager Robert only wanted to make it right by sending out different guys but had to pay an additional $60. I used these movers because they had a Groupon special and fit my schedule really well. My window for them to show up was between 11am and 1pm. They called me at around 11:30 to tell me that they were running late, but that they would call me 20-30 minutes before they headed over. They did not call before coming over, and despite my calling several times to try and figure out when they would be there, no one returned my call until 4:30pm. Which is when the movers showed up. They did not offer any discount to make up for them being late (maybe because I already had a groupon discount). We wrapped up in about three hours, but one of the guys ended up knocking on my door at 10pm that night because he forgot to take down my groupon voucher number. Giving them two stars because they did a good job with my move. But all in all they were pretty unprofessional and a real inconvenience. Won't be using them again. read more

I have used these guys literally 6 times since 2011 back when they first started out. They are my go to movers because of the great price, and promptness. Each time I have been satisfied and I refer them to everyone I know, the only thing is I would recommend you try to aim for the earlier scheduled move times. The one time i scheduled an afternoon move they were several hours late BUT they apologized and took $$ off the total which definitely helped. Since then they have always been right on time no issue at all (I've used them twice since). Not to mention they are super fast getting things moved, and have always been very friendly. It's been a year since I've used them, so I noticed they have increased their prices but they were nice enough to offer their previous rate since I've used them so much which made my day. :) I move again day after tomorrow and I am 100% sure it will.be the same as I have always experienced. After being stood up by a previous moving company on the day I scheduled my move, Robert, the manager at Teleport Movers, went above and beyond to get my move arranged for Saturday, December 24, 2016. I couldn't believe any one would be willing to do a move on Christmas Eve with less than 24 hours notice! The gentlemen who did my move, Alex and Ivan, arrived right on time and ready to go! They we quick, efficient, and very professional! They handled all of my items with care and fragility during the picked up and drop off. Their prices are reasonable, affordable and fair!
