I had an after hours emergency with a loading dock door that would not close, which prevented our business from closing. I spoke with Veronica to get a tech scheduled and she was genuinely understanding of my level of concern. I appreciated her patience and her quick response. She was very humble and helpful. Jackie was the tech who came out, and he was outstanding!! I cannot give enough credit to how great this experience was! He explained everything to me in complete detail; how the issue possibly occurred, how he planned to fix it and how to prevent future damages. When he finished, he went over the details of how he readjusted the door and he even moved the handle (and pull rope) to a more suitable area for better use! He tested the door afterwards and even stood with me while I tested the door to make sure I was satisfied. He was very nice, personable, well-knowledged and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently, but he did not rush. He was patient when explaining the issue and the billing. This was my first time using Complete Overhead Door and I very highly recommend them! As luck would have it, the spring on our garage door broke this evening at about 8:30 pm, most likely due to the freezing weather. We couldn't get the door up and were afraid to break our new belt drive which we just had installed last fall. In a panic, I called to see if they could come out as early as possible in the morning. I was beyond ecstatic when I was told they would have someone come out and fix my door tonight. Jackie arrived around 10:00 pm and replaced the needed parts. I was so impressed with his upbeat demeanor, especially since it was late at night and freezing cold. Jackie even remembered installing our garage door opener last year. My two technicians were courteous, warm, kind and caring throughout my garage door replacement project, which was completed same day despite challenges of existing structural ceiling damage from the October 2019 tornado outbreak. They helped me to move some bulky items still in the way (my fault), and even offered to help move them back at completion. They demolished my old garage door and took it away at no charge, no questions asked. Methodical and timely, they knew each other's next moves as the process progressed, and it was enjoyable to witness them in action. I only wish I had been on my game enough to have better noted their names to include in this review, but let this serve as permission to release that information if customary. Called at 10 this morning with a broken door and technician arrived that afternoon and I was back up and running same day. Bruce had to completely change virtually everything except the garage door. I watched him for almost 2 hours while he worked I'm just that kind of guy I wanted to see just what was involved in changing all those springs etc. His attention to detail was incredible he would not move to the next step until everything was perfect. Could not be happier with the service, will definitely be spreading the word on this establishment. I had work done by another company 2 years ago and the price comparison was drastic. For what I got done and the length of time Bruce sent here the charge was beyond fair. P.S. please make sure you go for the new wheel install, my noisy old opener is ten times quieter. I had used Complete Overhead Door back in 2012 and had perfect service, timing, and results. Again, recently they exceeded my expectations. My spring implantation into the wall ripped out of the wall Thursday morning, causing the garage door to not work and leaving myself to be stranded at home and not able to go to work. I called Complete Overhead Door immediately, and they were able to send out an AWESOME tech, Cord, who came in, evaluated the situation precisely, and with an incredible price and timing, was able to re-implant the spring onto another area of the wall quickly, and was in and out within 30-40 minutes. It was time for our garage door to be replaced and after seeing an ad for Complete Overhead Door in a mailer we received, I contacted them. (I did contact others for quotes.) One of the advertised doors in the ad was a great bargain, but I contacted COD about getting a specific door. I talked to Scott, and though I may have been a bit of a challenge trying to balance what I really wanted vs. what my budget would allow, Scott was able to provide me with a door that I was excited about. Have employed their services on several occasions Always Immediate, courteous, effective and reasonably priced. A year ago I had them replace a wood crafted Garage door. The door had to perfectly match two other existing Doors in place. In the process I discovered how difficult it is to even find any Garage door vendor willing to take a job requiring that level of craftsmanship. Complete Overhead Door had the skill set available and did a beautiful job for about the same cost others were quoting for generic designs. This morning I had to call them again when one of the doors had been damaged and had come off the railing. They were here in two hours and done in three. My garage door came off track on a Saturday night. I tried to get it to go down manually on my own but probably messed it up more, but didn't like the idea of sleeping with it partially open. Called a few companies and they were either not open or didn't have anyone available. Complete Overhead Door had a service tech out to me in under two hours. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, plus he gave me some good pointers on what to do in the future if it should happen again. Very pleased with the total experience from the call to schedule an appointment to the finished repair of my garage door. On the day of service Jackie called to let me know it would be closer to the end of my two hour appointment window in case I needed to do something besides wait and then he called 25 minutes before he showed up to let me know he was on his way. Today, Saturday, our garage door flaked out on us. We called Complete Overhead Door, we found a coupon in a Valpak envelope. Within 20 minutes we had an email and a call from Jackie, the technician that he would arrive in about 30 minutes. He arrived on time, quickly assessed our issues and set about making repairs. Our guide wires had come off on the smaller of our garage doors. Jackie also did service on our larger door. He was very pleasant and worked efficiently. Our doors were running smoothly in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. We thought that the cost was very reasonable, especially on such short request for service. We will request Jackie for maintenance or any other garage door issue we may have. read more

We have had Complete Overhead door service our garage door for several years and have been very happy with their service. Monday night, the right spring on the right side of my double garage door broke disabling my garage door. I called the service number at 7:30 PM and spoke to a female who was very helpful and told me our springs had been installed by them in 2015 and were under warranty and Cord would be out in the morning to replace them. When Cord arrived he explained the cost of labor, replaced both springs, checked all the other components of the door and opener and was done in under an hour. We had residential garage door service done by Cord out of the Rowlett location. He was professional, polite and took pride in his work. He answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. This was more than the usual service call because a contractor had done work in our garage which required removal of both doors. When the contractor put them back, they were incorrectly installed and caused damage to the cables and doors and put strain on the motors. Everything was out of alignment and Cord had to completely remove and reinstall everything. Great experience. I had used this company before and just had to look at the wall sticker to get their number again. Very convenient. I scheduled a service call. David was running a little early and called to see if he could come a little early. Upon his arrival, he assessed my problem quickly and gave me options. Even though he did not have the needed parts on his truck, he called for a PO over the phone, and within forty minutes he was back with the needed parts and installed a new opener for me. Got same day service, which I didn't need, and the technician (David) was professional and polite. The door was crooked and required adjustment. My only complaint is advertising and pricing. I had a direct mail ad which offered a $30 tune up; because I had wooden overlaid door, they said it would be $189. I also had one broken hinge, which is $5 at Home Depot but cost $20 installed (which took about 2 minutes). Angie's List is offering a $99 tuneup right now which may have been "the right price"... I imagine $30 doesn't even cover travel cost and time, but offering that is deceptive. We discussed price and they rebated $21 (since I am an Angie's List member). read more

Thanks Cord, I'm real big on customer service. Cord told my wife that he would call 30 minutes prior to showing up. He was a man of his word, he actually showed up earlier. He did not waste anytime, he was quick , and also explained the process and ways to extent the life span of my garage door. Cord even went above and beyond by adjusting the belt on the garage door, which took him all of 5 mins. That was awesome, I have known companies that nickel and dime you for every little penny. If I could give a zero for a review I would. This company do not do what they say and they do shabby work not to mention they are over priced. I had a garage door installed by this company in October of last year. The installation guy was lazy and did not put all of the new parts up that came with the door and now some of the trimming is coming from around the garage door. I called the company, they sent a guy out who looked at it and said it was because the house moved. I called family Christian Doors, they came out and inspected it and repaired it at no charge because it was something so minor. After a nightmare with another service hired by the big box store I purchased a new garage door through, (love getting miles on AA Shopping) we hired Complete Overhead to install the new door. Gus returned calls and communicated with the manufacturer, which the other service did not. Ryan installed it perfectly with incredible attention to detail. I'll never go through a big box store for another household project. (I'll miss the miles, but it's not worth the headache and weeks of non-communication with unprofessional contractors). I had a very bad experience with a technician that no longer works there but I called the company and they sent Stephen Collins and Vester Gainey out to assess the situation. Turns out the "other" guy did not put " two new" springs on but old 2017 springs! This company and these two guys totally fixed the spring situation, replaced my rollers, lubricated the doors and replaced a piece of wood that the other guy had broken. All this completely free to me! I was so happy with the knowledge these two guys had and they explained everything to me and made it RIGHT!! I 100% recommend this company and they will be my "go to" garage door people!! read more

My son contacted Complete Overhead Door and Cord came out to see what I needed. Well, I knew I needed brand new everything - door, motor, springs, etc. etc. etc., which I did. The motor was old and I had backed into my door something awful! Cord set up the installation for the following day and they sent Emigdio. He removed the old and installed the new within 3 hours, even though it was freezing outside last night! He was courteous and professional at all times.
