Prompt, reasonable and knowledgeable! A bracket for one of the wheels on the garage door had broken off so I submitted a project via yelp. I received 5 messages and decided to go with this company because they responded very quickly and offered to come same day for an assessment and estimate. Michael was very knowledgeable and gave me a full assessment of the garage door including a quote for the broken bracket. STAY AWAY! These 911 crooks repaired my broken spring, then said my foundation had settled, causing a 3-inch gap on one side of my garage door that wasn't there before. Another garage door repairman explained that he just left the cable wheel in the wrong position (see photos), and it was an easy fix. It's so obvious it had to be intentional. I also asked the 911 guy about replacing the weatherstrip. He said it's very difficult and expensive, and he probably couldn't get the parts. The other, honest and reputable repairman said I could get it replaced by any company servicing that brand of door. Avoid these lying crooks at all cost! read more

I obtained a quote online to replace a single spring on a two car garage door and just to reset the cables, which is typical when the spring goes out. The estimate was $250-$300 from yelp platform 912 Garage Pros. The technician that arrived was from a company called garage tech and did not display any logo or have any what I could tell would be direct employment with this company. Basically they subcontract their work as it appears to me. Arthur, the Technician was very good and he stated the quotes are seldom correct and it would cost $550 to install the spring and reset cables. The spring was not aDalton as stated on website. The Technician stated typically this replacement takes about 25 minutes jn total. The Tech did a few maintenance items and the entire job took 55 minutes, which included me assisting him lifting the door so I could remove my vehicles. I felt a little bit duped because from reading everything on yelp and from their website made it sound like they have their own trained technicians and clearly this was a subcontracted job and he admitted he contracts for them and he also does his own work. My receipt was from Garage Tech . At the end of the job which was done satisfactory, I was offered a $25 discount if I would give them five stars on the spot on Google. This felt a little dirty. Additionally, Garage Pros website offered $50 off when booking through their site and k never got the email coup I feel as though I would not have used this company if I did not need it fixed immediately and it was a Sunday so I do appreciate they work seven days a week. Likely not use them again, rather go with a local business from my town. read more

Do not trust the 5* Yelp reviews. I paid $250 plus an undisclosed $20 sales tax for a tune‑up to rebalance my garage doors. After the service, the door was still clearly unbalanced -- and the technician didn't even mention it. I only found out when I checked the door myself. Only then was I told the springs "couldn't be tightened further" and that I'd need to upgrade to a different gauge. I brought in a different 5‑star Yelp company the next day. They immediately diagnosed the issue, properly tensioned the existing spring (no gauge upgrade needed), were fully transparent about pricing with no surprise add‑on tax, and even have a 1‑year warranty as standard.
