When he comes to register, he opens it, snatches $13 out & hands it to guy who made the keys to give to me. Really - never apologizes for mistake or my inconvenience, or anything. Plenty of locksmiths in Lewisville And the guys at Home Depot are nice, informative & professionals. And thier duplicate keys work.

I finally went to Allen's Old Town Locksmith, where a real person was able to locate the correct key and cut 3 copies within about 2 minutes. I called to inquire if my new electronic locks could be rekeyed to match . The lady who answered…read morethe phone informed me that yes they could be rekeyed and potentially could be made to match my original standard deadbolt key, depending on the brand. At no point did she indicate that if the electric lock was an off-brand it would be impossible to rekey them at all. She gave me a quote for the rekey service and indicated there would be a service charge for the trip. But again did not mention that if for some reason the technician was unable to perform the service we would be responsible for the service charge. When the technician arrived he looked at the keys and said it may not work because of the brand of electric lock. He was able to insert my standard key into the lock but said he would have to call his boss to ask if he could attempt to rekey the locks . The boss told him He could not rekey the locks because they were an off brand and then they informed me I would still be required to pay the service charge. I let them know that this possibility had not been communicated and asked if the fee could be waived. They said it could not, so I called the office after the tech left and they gave me the number of the boss. When I spoke with Ben (owner) he was condescending and rude, spoke over me and interrupted me and when I informed him that I would have to leave a negative review about their poor customer service, he accused me of extortion! It was quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my 23 years of home ownership.
