Jeff solved my problem so easily. I felt it was a bit complicated to resolve and many locksmiths had no idea what I was asking or needing, they quoted me a ton, and his pricing was extremely fair and reasonable, especially considering that he came right to me the same day. Good honest and quick service. Fairly priced. Hopefully I don't need a locksmith anytime again soon but if I do I will call them.

Guys made me laugh while I waited and they got me out of a bind for sure. Thanks fellas!

Very responsive! Out place was broken into and he came out the day of first contact to inspect the existing locks to give me an estimate. Determined that I just need to rekey my locks (instead of replacing them). Made an appointment for the next day to meet me and do the actual work. While he was there, he noticed that ALL the windows were unlocked (which is probably how they go into the house in the first place) and he took it upon himself to go and lock all the windows. Highly recommend this place!! read more

Jeff is a consummate professional. He immediately presented himself as knowledgeable and competent on the phone, replying in a timely fashion to my need to re-key three of the doors (including a sliding glass door that many locksmiths wouldn't even look at). His prices were unambiguous, based on our current hardware (which I sent pictures of), and fair. He arrived in the window of time he stated he would, was sufficiently pleasant, and seemed interested in our door hardware. I got the impression that he not only took his job seriously but that behind his competence was a genuine interest in his trade. I will definitely reach out to Jeff again for any locksmithing needs and will promote his business to my friends and neighbors. read more

So happy to have found Jeff at Denton's Lock & Key. My back door wouldn't open...doorknob didn't turn . Reached him immediately early evening and he was here next morning. Fixed that issue and another one related to a doggie door that wouldn't lock. The price was reasonable and exactly what he quoted. Didn't try to upsell and no hidden fees. Left everything clean and better than it was when he arrived. Know who I will always call for any door or lock issues. Bonus. He was friendly and respectful and I enjoyed meeting him. read more

I Am IMPRESSED. Called another company that I could barely understand. I called because they showed being at a address on Denton Tap in Coppell. This was great as I could drive over as I am less than a mile away. Told they had to come to me and it is a $20 charge to come out plus a minimum of $29 to open the lock I needed opened and could be more. A person called me back to come out and I asked if I could send them a short video so he could give me a firm quote so I could decide. I did and he replied back $120 and would most likely end up cutting it off. I decided to check yelp and found Denton Lock. Called and spoke to Jeff and we agreed to meet with n Lewisville. Met him within 30 minutes and he was able to pick the lock open and then made 2 keys by hand using a Key from MB early 80's!! Quoted me $25 + $7.50 for spare key which I gladly paid plus some for being a super person. Did exactly what he said he would do. DO NOT hesitate to call Jeff, I am 100% positive you will be glad you did. read more

Thanks so much Jeff for helping me get out of this heat! Locked myself out of my home while moving and he came as soon as he could and even rekeyed my lock. Above and beyond service with a smile. Thanks for your humane spirit because you didn't have to go the extra mile but you did. It's the small things like this that make a business stand out. Customer service is a dying art so thank you truly! read more

I needed a new key for our car. Jeff has very good prices for keys and for his labor in the key cutting and the programming -- thus, he was my first choice. Jeff was extremely prompt: No sooner had I hit the "End Call" button on my phone and Jeff had driven over and was at my door. He got my new key cut and programmed very quickly -- Jeff does great mobile service! I inquired about Jeff's car lock-out prices considering we just paid $120 for getting our car unlocked by another individual: Jeff only charges $55 for lockouts during the day (higher at night). What a bargain! Definitely go to Jeff at Denton Lock & Key for your lockout and key needs! read more

I was locked out of my car and called Jeff from Denton Lock and Key. He was able to meet me at my home same day and got me back into my car as well as replace my lost key. The key he had on hand did not exactly match my car key, and he special ordered the exact match for me. He did not charge me while until the special ordered key came in and he resolved an error message my car was showing. I highly recommend! read more
