We just moved into this new house, but I couldn't program the remote garage keypads from the old owners code. The instructions looked easy enough. GDR was on recommendation of a neighbor. They showed up on time, were pleasant, and started with "the instructions for this Chamberlain remote are wrong". The first instruction just doesn't do it (it's the apparently easiest). That's the manufacturer of almost every garage door opener brand! Reasonable price. read more

Garage door was installed quickly and was better than expected. I will definitely refer to anyone asking.

Absolutely love my new garage door and opener! Was great about getting out for a free quote in a timely manner and getting everything repaired and replaced for a great price and quickly! read more

Got exactly what I was looking for. No up- sale just repair. Lee showed up within the appt window. He was happy to explain what probably happened to cause the damage, what he'd need to do in order to repair it. Price was fair and what I expected to pay. I would def use again and highly recommend. Thx Lee!! read more

Technician was very prompt, knowledgeable and price was very reasonable. i highly recommend this company.

I want to say that the initial installation and work that was done was done to my satisfaction, but now, three years later after a wheel came off the track and it buckled my panals I have called them out to fix this as I have full warranty. I am told that it is NOT covered under warranty and that it would be just as much as I initially paid for the new panels, springs, motor and key pad!! I asked, how could this be??? I was told, rudely, INFLATION!! With that said, make your own decision but I WOULD NOT recommend them!! read more

Absolutely BEST SERVICE!! Affordable, quick response, professional experience by Lee, and no issues or concerns. You will be wrong to chose anyone else but this company!!! Habe them saved in case I ever have issues or can help someone else out! They are top of the line!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

I had a great experience with this company. He installed a keypad opener for my garage door in less than 15 minutes and at a very good price. I will use them for any future garage door needs! You should too! read more

Garage Door Repair And Install came out to my home to replace my Cables and adjust the tension spring. The service was fast and the Technician was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company again. Thanks Lee read more

Fast reliable service. I called the day before and they showed up within the small 2 hour window I was given for the next day. Lee inspected the opener and returned it to its safe operation. The door was not going back up when it was closing on an obstruction. He quickly diagnosed the problems, made the adjustments and it works better than it ever has since we moved in. Thanks again. I will definitely use them again in the future! read more

I had an emergency with my garage door and contacted my home warranty company for assistance and was referred to Garage Doors Repairs & Installations. Unfortunately, the home warranty doesn't cover emergency dispatches or the problem with my door, but I was very pleased with the service Lee provided. After calling, he showed up about 30 minutes late and had the problem fixed quickly. He gave me helpful tips on how to take care of the replacement parts. Lee provides efficient, courteous service. I would definitely use this company again. read more

I was very pleased with this company they were very knowledgeable, efficient and honest. This was the very best experience I've ever had with a garage door company....and I've had some "horror stories"! No up sale attempts. They just got the job done! read more

They arrived with in a half hour of calling. They assess the situation and then tell you how much it will cost to fix it. It was very reasonable. He fixed the issue quickly by recalibrating the garage door, oiling the door and spring, recalibrating the spring so it would not hurt anyone (the door slammed down with force when it came off the track) and programmed my car opener. Every other garage door repair company that I called told me it would take two days before they could help me and having my car stuck in the garage for two days was not an option. They are very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them. read more

I ordered my garage door opener and installation through Amazon. The installation was with this company. I was thoroughly pleased with all aspects of the installation. They showed up on time, professionally installed the equipment and cleaned up after the install. The gentleman is a wealth of information on the subject and gave me a lot of tips and pointers concerning the installation and maintenance of my garage doors. When my other opener fails, I will definitely use this service again. Top notch! read more

Needed a tune up on two garage doors which were beginning to struggle and squeak when opened. Gave them a call and found them to be prompt, professional, courteous, and very reasonably priced, what more can you ask? Living in Forney, I try to keep any service needs local when possible. Would definitely call them again for any garage door issues or openers. read more

The service provided was exceptional. The technician took time to make fine tune adjustments to the the door's motor and tracking. He also checked the chain and track -- discovering that the track had become disconnected from the garage door header. He immediately added a new bracket and bolted it in place. He inspected all the rollers and determined they did not need to be replaced, and offered a lesser price for the visit. Who does that anymore? GREAT service providers do, that's who! He performed a safety check and tightened and lubricated as necessary. I appreciated the time he took to educate me as a homeowner and the operation of the door and mechanism, as well as simple ongoing maintenance I can perform to add longevity to the equipment, as well as continued smooth operation. He replaced the bottom seal as well. I highly recommend this company, and wish more service providers had the same focus on customer service and education. read more

Prompt response. Arrived at estimated time. Efficient service, repaired the door in half an hour and charged the quoted service fee. If need be, I'll call these folks again. read more

What a great job our service tech did! I called with an issue on our main garage door and the same day a tech was out to give me a free quote. Because of the size of the spring it wasn't in stock but he measured and had one the very next day. Most important part was that he informed me that the springs tend to break at the same time but did not try and up sell me into purchasing three other springs for the ones that were not broken. I very much appreciated his hard work and how quick he was able to fix the problem. Five stars for sure!! read more

Just had them over to figure out why the garage door wasn't opening and closing properly. $49 service charge had it all fixed. It was not the ground-level sensor, it was a sensor inside the roof mechanism that needed to be adjusted due to the age of the garage opener (circa 1995). He explained everything as he went along, ruling out possibilities. If it happens again, I will be able to help myself... what a wonderful thing! Thorough, polite, nice, knowledgeable. and they came out quickly. read more

Excellent service. Prompt response. Courteous, knowledgable, and repairs were done quickly. This is a good company to do business with. Lee, the owner, has a delightful Yorkshire accent so he is a pleasure to talk with as well. read more

I have used Garage Door Repairs & Installations 2 times now and have had EXCELLENT service! First time was to install new doors. Very professional, quick and cleaned up great! Doors were solid and a great price compared to others in the area. Second service call was for another garage door (not with the one installed) and had a broken spring. Quick response, great workmanship, reasonable price and a 3 year warranty on the spring! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new garage door or for repairs! read more

Found Garage Doors Repairs & Installations when I purchases a roller replacement deal from Angie's List. That experience was very positive -- scheduling appointment was easy, appointment made at my convenience and technician arrived as scheduled and was knowledge and courteous. Very pleased. And honestly, never expected to have to use them again. However, I found myself needing to replace my only garage door opener so I called Garage Doors Repairs & Installations because my previous experience was so positive and the tech left a sticker on the wall of my garage with their name and number (with my permission; thought I'd humor him ... who knew???). My second experience was as positive as the first for all the reasons mentioned above. The tech set-up my new garage door opener and also set-up the keypad that I was never able to use because I couldn't clear out the old code set by the previous owner and set a new code. The tech was extremely knowledge, pleasant and patient and the folks in the office very pleasant and accommodating. I never asked for an estimate for the job since I needed an opener and needed it quickly. I was blown away with the price -- it was very, very, reasonable considering I got a new opener that was operational when the tech left, the keypad is now operational and the tech did not rush the job, he spent time setting everything up and testing it and he made sure I understood how everything worked plus everything was handled very expeditiously and professionally. Great experience!! read more
