Once you book a pass online, it is immediately activated for the day. I had assumed that I would reserve in advanced, but that wasn't the case. 5 star for the actual Hub. I think the price point is very reasonable. The space is nice & fairly clean (unlike the OfficeMax itself... the bathroom in the OfficeMax is filthy!). There's snacks, coffee, lockers, and private phone booths. I had a doctor's appointment nearby and had back-to-back meetings before and after the appointment, and this turned out to be perfect. It is also located next to a Panera Bread, which makes it easy if you need to grab a quick lunch. Parking is plentiful and a breeze. I had to dock a star though, because the website is incredibly confusing and difficult to use. At least for me, I wasn't sure if I needed to book a desk, or what. I tried calling for clarification several times, and it didn't seem like anyone picked up. I had to go to OfficeMax and ask for help, which seems pretty inefficient. If you're new to co-working, the experience didn't feel very intuitive. Otherwise, once I got settled in, things were great. Internet was fast and reliable. I ran into an old co-worker and he said that he's really enjoyed working here.

The restrooms rarely get cleaned and when they do it's a half-hearted attempt. I had to mop my area twice because the floor was so dirty. The chairs are stained. And if you need to concentrate, good luck. No one enforces the rules so you have people roaming about talking loudly on their phones. Only 3 phone booths that are constantly full so you have to pay $$ to rent a conference room. No matter how many times I brought these issues to mgmts attention all I got was lip service. For the same price WeWork is an 11 minute further commute, gorgeous office, lounges, restrooms, 32 phone booths, multiple free conference rooms, and the other patrons are professional! The 6th floor is the main area but it didn't have phone booths to take meetings so I went down to the 5th floor which was amazingly empty. There was complimentary coffee and assorted teas, and I appreciated the sustainability efforts with the mugs. I would have given this location 4 stars if it wasn't for the parking costs. WeWork doesn't validate your parking garage ticket so it was $1.50 per 15 minutes with a maximum cost of $22/day. So if you pair that with the cost of the WeWork, $57 to spend a full work day here is a little costly.

Walked into the front desk twice to get information twice now. Each time Amber and Samantha were equally unhelpful. Took my name and contact information and promised that "Dana" would get back to me. She hasn't. And they cannot provide any way to contact "Dana". I really dislike when companies put well-meaning people at the front of a bad customer services process. That's what's happening here. Makes me wonder how bad the experience would get if something went wrong with billing or access.

Have you ever heard the Tale of AJ and Enya? I thought not…read more It's not a story customer service usually tells you. It's a legend of Spaces Santana Row. AJ was known throughout the co-working realm as AJ the Efficient; a master of schedules, of printer troubleshooting, of remembering exactly who actually booked Conference Room B. And Enya... Enya was the Calm, the one who could diffuse anger simply by saying: "Let me see what I can do." Together, they maintained balance in the workspace. They could anticipate when someone was about to ask for coffee refills before the question was spoken. They could sense when a guest was about to "just drop in for five minutes" but would actually stay for six hours and rearrange the furniture. They were so powerful... they could even prevent Small Talk. But power like that... is tempting. One day, AJ attempted the forbidden technique: perfect office temperature control, a stable 72 degrees, pleasing to all. Cold-Blooded Laptop Guy... Warm-Natured Sweater Person... Guests from other climates... all would be at peace. But the HVAC... Did not care. And Enya, loyal though she was, could not stop facilities from saying: "We'll send someone to look at it tomorrow." AJ worked to the brink. And eventually... let go. The balance was lost. The thermostat returned to 71... 73... 69... 78... 62... Chaos. Enya learned from this. She understood that some forces cannot be controlled... Only endured. Now she waits. Silent... watchful... clipboard ready... For the next request.

I want to also throw a big shout out to the staff there. The front desk staff are so amazing and friendly. Always welcoming me when I walk in, and super attentive and helpful. Anytime I've had a problem, they were understanding, empathetic and actively trying to help. Making sure to follow up on anything I needed. I cant thank them enough. A key reason I keep coming back is that unlike other shared workspaces, they make you feel welcome. And that has value.
