I wanted to give a 5 stars shoutout to Silver Creek Storage. Even though I ultimately didn't go with them, it honestly had nothing to do with their service. I really had my heart set on a drive-up unit because I know myself well enough to know I'd eventually get frustrated lugging all my belongings onto a cart and rolling everything through the hallways to my unit. Right from the beginning, I received a message from their team, Melissa and the communication was incredibly prompt, friendly, and professional. Mark and Val greeted me when I arrived and Val personally showed me the two storage units I was interested in. Let's put it this way -- their drive-up units are so popular there's actually a waiting list for them. As Val walked me through one of their newly built climate-controlled buildings, it honestly felt like Fort Knox with how secure and well-maintained everything was. The property was spotless, modern, organized, and gave me a really safe feeling knowing belongings would be protected there. Even though I ended up needing something different for convenience purposes, I still wanted to recognize the great customer service and positive experience I had here. You can tell they genuinely care about the property and the people renting from them. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Silver Creek Storage to anyone looking for a clean, secure, and professionally run storage facility. Booking was easy online and with special rates available for certain units. Mark was extremely helpful. He showed me to my unit I booked and also showed me other bigger units. I realized the 5x5 was not sufficient for the things I needed to store. He was able to transfer me to a 5x10. Easy access to the storage units. Everything is accessible by code. I found out about this place when I drove past it many times to go to the silver creek market. I walked in and was greeted very kindly by Valentine & Mark. Valentine gave me a tour of a few units I was interested in. He was very thorough with the rules and storage details. Gave me the run down. The storage units are extremely clean. I used to go to the Uhaul Public Storage and they were not clean, barely any light. This place has a lot of light in the hallways, again very clean and smelled good also all storage units are climate controlled which I really liked. I realize they have the benefit of being new but the overall condition was very clean and organized. When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted with sincere smiles from the helpful staff. Had rented a storage here and sad to say that initially i was very pleased with the customer service, however its very hard to believe that a storage place that claims to be new and advertising climate control and amazing rates have rats and mice. We were forced to file a claim due to mice urine and feces penetrating our brand new sofa, bed, clothing etc. Out of at-least $3,000 dollars worth of damage in our property and they try to only provide $500 because thats all the insurance pays. There is no investigation going on as to how mice were able to access a storage unit. There was no food to attract mice. Horrible customer service. Very sad for people to pay expensive monthly fees only to have your belongings torn and urinated. Infections can rise and families can become ill. Please go to your storage and make sure you report any animal droppings before its too late! read more

I'm super impressed- Silver Creek Self Storage rocks! My son has had a unit at Little Orchard for a few years now and it is so well run, clean and everyone is so nice there I decided to try to get a unit there. When I called looking for a space, there wasn't an available unit the size I needed. The area manager, Melissa, let me know that, Silver Creek Self Storage, one of their other facilities and had units the size I needed. Silver Creek Self Storage is super nice, it's almost new, sparkling clean, seems very very secure and is also super well run! The units I rented are climate controlled and have very easy to access. The best part is how well trained and helpful everyone is, the manager, Mark and his assistant, Valentine couldn't have made the renting process any easier, they have made what could be an unpleasant experience, very nice. SCSS has a 1 year lock-in rate- so no surprises with constant rate increases. I have had another storage unit at a big chain storage facility for over 10 years, and, let's just say, it's not been a pleasant experience (dirty, rude, we have been broken into twice, etc.), I dread even going there, I'm looking forward to moving out.
