Had to choose storage for my brother. These guys were so nice. Very helpful showing me the sizes because I wasn't sure how big just by feet. Seeing them helped me decide which one would work. I am currently in the midst of a storage transition from one facility to Cochrane Road self Storage. While my current storage facility has been great, they don't have any available larger units. Since I was referred by the manager at my current storage unit, I figured what do I have to lose. When I visited Cochran Road self storage, I was greeted by Mark and he was very helpful and professional from the start. He took me on a tour of the facility and showed the different size units that were available. The property is very well-maintained, clean pathways around the units, as well as inside. They have a surveillance system in place throughout the facility. They are not climate controlled units, but are very well insulated. I did visit on a rather hotter day in the summer and the units were still at a cool and bearable temperature. So, if you are in the market for a storage unit between South San Jose and Gilroy, I would recommend Cochran Road self storage. They have friendly and professional staff, very clean facilities and economical prices. read more

My outside storage unit was weatherproof from rain and included an interior light. The wide lanes between the storage units allows moving vans and most box trucks to enter. Mark is very knowledgeable, basically I have no issues to fill up the sign in paperwork. Every charges were mentioned very clearly. The security is good. It will deactivate your storage alarm once you enter the facility and re-activate the storage alarm once you get out. Your storage is secure when you are out. I do want to also give credit and acknowledgement to other staff members I have came across a few times but I do not remember the names at the moment. Anyhow I moved back to the area and was exhausted. I could hardly get my mom brain to function with all the chaos I had gone through in the day. BUT Giselle was a delight to accompany me with help in choosing a unit that would be a good fit for my belongings. She was patient, friendly, and most importantly kind. She showed me two units, different sizes, to help me visualize what id prefer. I truly appreciated her feedback as a mother. She understood that I need safety as a women when there will be times I'm alone, possibly in her evenings to grab or drop off items. A drive up is crucial for me and she also pointed out helpful tips and her point of view for the units she showed me which helped me to decide.
