I must give a big shoutout to Suzanne who works the office. I'm a first time storage unit person Suzanne was amazing. She went ahead and walked me through everything. She went ahead and actually remembered to give me a call when a larger storage unit opened up. I cannot thank her enough for the service she has provided. I would recommend this storage place to anyone. Suzanne is usually there between I believe it's Wednesdays through Sundays with Mondays and Tuesdays off. Great rate. Helpful staff. Local small business. I like the 1 year locked in rate while still being month-to-month. They do not have the widest range of open hours. After talking to the manager that works there, he fixed the problem and am now getting a good rate on my unit. My promotional offer has ended, but I'm not paying $55.95 I was going to be charged. I visited the McKee mini storage today and had a very pleasant experience in renting a storage unit. I called in advance and the staff on the person on staff was very friendly and was able to advise me with regards to unit sizes as well as prices and even suggested that I write a review on Yelp in order to receive a free lock. I felt that was very nice and thoughtful of them to suggest and to save me money. Stefan side was very friendly and helpful and showed me several units before I decided on one I wanted to rent for excess items that I need to remove from my apartment. I would have given 0 stars but thats not possible...my boyfriend went to sign the papers to get a storage space, it was close to 6pm closing time, but the man in the office said it would be ok to go to the bank and get cash b/c thats all they accept. When my boyfriend came back, the owner (im assuming) told him he couldnt come in, he had explained the situation, and the man kept telling my boyriend "You're EVICTED, get the "F" out!! " he kept telling him that over and over, saying he would call the cops on him............ummmh first off we were future customers. He was yelling at him in front of other customers as well..He did nothing wrong!!!! I'm glad this happened and they didn't get our business.....I would suggest paying a little more for a business that cares for your money! read more
