From the time I first made the call to them, I was very impressed by the gentleman who answered the phone, Luis. (As a footnote as well, my call went directly to the Little Orchard Self Storage location itself without me having to be transferred through different extensions initially.) My first impression with my call to Luis would prove to be consistent from the first time I walked into the office - Luis was so welcoming and so accommodating, in addition to being so efficient. First he showed me the rental space that I chose and, wow, you talk about a super clean facility as we walked toward it. In addition, I was incredibly impressed by the security built all around the facility and the cleanliness of the storage space itself and the smoothness and ease of the roll up door. When we returned to the office, Luis made the sign up process seamless - and folks, let me tell you, his great attitude and genuineness, from the initial call to the time I finished was and is so refreshing! Fast forwarding to January 2026, and my first visit back to the storage facility office... As I entered into the office, I was warmly greeted by two friendly individuals, Melissa and Kim. Actually three friendly "individuals" - Melissa, Kim and "Brady". Brady? Yes, Brady is absolutely adorable and proof that dogs like him, a cute to the 10th power Goldendoodle, most definitely "smile"! Not only in the case on how friendly and cute Brady is, but, if you look carefully, you can's help but notice that he's most definitely smiling! :0) Although he stays behind the counter, in my case, I asked if he would be allowed to come out to the front of the office so I could pet him and look at his cute face and play with him - at one point, so I could give him some hugs, he literally stood next to me at the front counter and we looked like "two" customers being served by Melissa and Kim on the other side of the counter! So, getting back to the warm and friendly greetings from Melissa and Kim when first walking into the office, my first impression when I had initially signed up would prove to be the "norm" and a consistent trend at this facility - these two individuals, Melissa and Kim (while actually three individuals that day including "Brady" were very welcoming and helpful. My visit to the office that day proved to be a highlight of my day! My earnest encouragement to both Melissa and Kim as well as to Luis is to continually "keep on keeping on" with making each customer their top priority - in doing so, I have no doubt that customers like myself will always be quick to tell others about this stellar storage facility and the friendliness and efficiency that one can expect :) So, if you're thinking about storage, based on my impressions and experiences with this "gem of a storage facility", before you call or visit any other storage place, reach out to them first - based on my experiences, you'll be glad that you did! Melissa needs customer service training. Called to get rates. I was in a hurry. She started outlining their other fees such as $30 admin fee, plus 'protection plan' fees (forced insurance racket they are all doing now) and when I asked again for prices, she got snippy with me on the phone. She started forcing this information on me even when I asked her to please stop and just give me the quotes on storage units. I had to listen to the end before I got quotes. This is not the way you deal with customers. Awful customer relations. Also very pricey. They are way south in SJ, much longer drive and they have the highest rates. You know they will raise them too, so if they start out this high - forget it. Some reviews mention raises in 1 month. 12' x 25' is $599 / mth 15' x 20' is $599 / mth Others are $300 - $450 for similar units. Nope. Distant location. Highest prices. Rude Manager. read more

I'm seriously surprised how rude the manager is. I was there to look at a car, and I was talking to Kimberly which was very kind and helpful when the manager interrupted and start being rude to her and me. She kept yelling across the room saying "I need to talk to her. And asking me to leave. I don't know how she got a job there or if anyone's gonna ever hire I would think twice. Just a tip from another business owner. Respond to your reply. That's a lie. I get you're trying to protect your name and the business, but at least try to be truthful. Or at least respond with saying "I apologize for your experience." Instead being hostile. We were having a great conversation. Until you interrupted saying "she doesn't know anything about Porsches". And then I replied with, "I know I was just asking her out of curiosity not to get an answer. I already know the answer." In case you didn't know, it's rude to interrupting a conversation by yelling across the room. Plus putting your employee down by saying "she doesn't know anything". And oh not to forget you blocked me on Facebook before I could leave a bad review there. And not sure why you guys still have 5 star when there are other bad reviews under your business. In regard to the car...you posted an ad to auction a car. The ad was up for 4.5 days. And you canceled the auction in last 30 min. Wasted about 30 people's time. Great job manager. read more

Well I just got off the phone with Michelle over a little orchard storage and I must say she makes it easy and seamless when you're trying to get things done and anytime you're getting a storage for me anyways it's always kind of difficult because not only are you in a rush, but it always seems like you're always dealing with somebody who does not have any time for you. I have driven past this storage place on a weekly basis for years and have admired the big American flag flying next to a POW-MIA flag. These two flags are the reason I looked into this business earlier this week when I had an unexpected need for a storage unit. This was the first place I looked at and made my reservation online. The next day, Melissa, was more than friendly and welcoming during the paperwork process. She drove me to my unit and towards the back of the facility, there was another huge American flag flying high! Aside from the amazing customer service, extremely clean and well-monitored, well-lit facility, they are a family owned, small business who support our military, past and present! I 100% recommend this place if you find yourself needing a storage unit!! And just in case you're wondering why this is important to me, my father served as a medic, grandfather served as a doctor in WWII and was stationed in Germany, and my great uncle served in WWII and was KIA when his sub the USS Newcomb was hit, he was never found.
