As a follow up, I was given my refund. "Joe" the "manager" refused to give me a final paper work and required a civil standby with San Jose police to give me my refund of $157.00. I deeply regret ever doing business with this establishment. They are predatory, meddlesome, intentionally manipulative, and further I believe they specifically discriminate against single people and disabled people. I will never rent from independent storage again now I know why corporate storage has become so big in our country. My recommendation; Watch your back with this business if you are there already, record conversations, and keep your distance from the staff they are extremely strange and enjoy causing problems in peoples lives. read more

This place is great! Affordable rates, convenient hours. I've stored my items for a year and a half with no issues. No leaks, a bit of dust since the units are outside and not inside like Public Storage or other big name storage facilities. The manager Joe is even better! Very kind and hospitable. I accidentally got my storage roll up door stuck on an oversized bin in my unit (totally my fault) and Joe came out on his hands and knees and hammered away at the clasp my bin had gotten stuck on. If you need a storage space rent one from here. Always super clean and I feel really safe with my stuff there since there is always someone on the premises. Joe, the manager is super nice and explained the contract in detail. He even recommended me the perfect space and talked me out of a larger unit & more rent based on my needs. Bummer they don't have temperature controlled but so far so good. I've been here over a year now and the price is consistent. Not like their competitor whom I left due to price increases every quarter. They also have an on-site dumpster you can use for a small fee at the time of use. Believe the hype. If you appreciate friendly customer service, this place is a surprise. First, know that it's just before the light rail tracks if you're driving toward the mall on Blossom Hill. Don't pass the crossing signs or you've passed it. I had to circle but saw the sign the second time around. It's tucked away down an alley, and that's a good thing. I met Alicia(sp?) and Joe, who were incredible. Joe is the manager who lives on site, and is exceptionally charming and friendly; talking to him was like chatting with a friend you've known for years. Alicia is about as professional and friendly as they come; she almost glows with warmth, stunning and meticulous about the entire procedure. She had all the available units lined up for me in under a minute, in addition to all the forms. Other than showing me the unit, the whole process barely took 20 minutes, and that's because they didn't rush their explanations of anything. I presume they aren't a married couple but, honestly, signing up for a storage unit here felt like visiting a married couple that you've known for a long time. They are eager to help and provide helpful pointers. Nothing feels adversarial...quite the opposite. Joe even pointed out things like where to find cheap moving boxes and advise about how safe the place is...mentioning at one point the stray cats they've collected and had neutered. He even patiently waited for me to run through locking and unlocking my unit to ensure I wouldn't have trouble, even then saying that he's almost always there if I have problems. Oh, that's important. They have an alarm on all of the storage units and, since Joe lives there, I imagine it's pretty safe. Sorry if I'm gushing, but it has been an awesome experience so far. If I have to complain, and it's nit-picking at this point, it would be that their golf cart feels like it might tip over sometimes, and I wish it were possible to arrange late access to your storage unit. I also wish they offered insurance directly instead of handing you off to a third-party, but these are all minor issues. I'm not a self-storage aficionado, and hope I never become one, but if you need somewhere to put your stuff for a while, this is it. read more

How can you love a storage company? When they are friendly, professional and take good care of you and your things. Joe and Alicia go out of their way to make sure that you have a satisfying experince. I used Blossom Hill storage for three years and always felt good leaving my things there. Billing was handled annualy and so I was eligible for a discounted rate. Once I missed my payment date even after they reminded me and instead of putting my things on the auction block, they contacted my mom and all was well. When you live abroad and can not check on your things regularly, it is good to know that they are in good hands. I highly recommend you give them a try. read more

Just started using them a couple of months ago, they have a lot of good deals for starting up, and even have a contest for people who pay their rent early. Blossom Hill Self Storage has the best friendliest customer service and secure storage with alarms for each unit. I have used them a number of times during the past 10 years and have always been very appreciative of their warm welcome, clean business and reasonable rates. The nicest and warmest of personalities with a welcoming smile and genuine style. Since it's all on ground floor only there is no need to haul up and down any elevators nor strain yourself with the unloading and loading. Parking is just in front of your own unit so it's very fast and simple to unload/load your belongings here. Every time your door opens a message is relayed to the office that someone is at your location. The office always has water bottles available for you to drink and dollies to use as well. I've purchased secure locks here when needed for my unit and the manager Joe has always been very honest and helpful. We moved to a place that offers storage units on property so didn't need to use Blossom Hill Self Storage anymore however if ever we are in need again we will surely be returning as happy customers! read more
