Keylime pie slice & Strawberry Macaroons
    Jamie M.

Sticking to the baked goods next time. Perhaps an off day for them, or they just got clobbered by a lunch rush. The sit down area was dirty. A lot of patrons were coming in to snag pre ordered Kings Cakes that were taking up the back register and corner of the store. I opted to start with lunch a full chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with chips and fruit cup. Chicken salad was just ok. Them panini pressing the croissant with the innards just made it look pitiful. Perhaps that's my own misunderstanding; and the croissant was more of a finger bite size, not a full. Again maybe user confusion. The chips were bottom of the bag, I have kids there is no hiding when this happens someone always isn't happy to receive them. I got a piece of key lime pie to go and some strawberry macaroons for my daughter (2 for $5). I'm a pie snob and this missed the mark on my favorite. It was very dense.

I have driven by this place many times but never tried it. Also didn't know it's a bakery where I could sit in, order something, and enjoy there. That was good to know. The place was nice, clean, and pretty spacious. I came for a breakfast meet up so thought the place was fitting for that. Food-wise, I'm a tea drinker so was pleasantly surprised by their tea offerings. See photo. Usually, I would order a baked good or two to try but am doing a sugar detox/healthy thing right now so I opted for something more in line with that. The choice I went with was a whole wheat wrap and asked them to just make it with eggs and chicken. That's a huge plus for me to get something with that much protein. It came with a tomato salsa and thought everything tasted great together. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would like to come back and try their baked goods when I can have sugar again.

Tasty desserts-from collies, Italian ice cream and cake, and a variety of brunch and lunch options. This time it was cake! Both were very good but the lemon was refreshing!

The chicken salad at Rao's was fresh, clean and really good. However, I ordered the sugar cookies. I asked for them to give me individually wrapped cookies as I do not want them to stick together. They did not and the cookies were stacked on top each other and the frosting came off of some...melted on the back of others and the color was off. I think this is lazy of Rao's some pastries must be separate, individually wrapped or packed in a box different. This was lazy presentation and they need to change this because I for one could not give these unflavored bricks away. Wasted my money. Other than that, the I will continue to frequent Roa's because it is a nice place.

Better service today! Also ordered a cake for my birthday in September. My mom and I were craving a sandwich but didn't want to find a Jimmy John's so I suggested Rao's and glad we came. We've been coming here since I can remember. The ambiance is usually pretty friendly. If you're hungry or have a sweet tooth- this place covers it!

Rao's is a beloved community staple off Cypresswood, and for good reason. With its welcoming ambience, cozy atmosphere, and bold coffee, it's a local favorite that consistently draws me back. I usually come in focused on my morning coffee--especially their exclusive, robust 1941 Anniversary Blend--but their tempting pastry case makes discipline challenging, especially when I'm trying intermittent fasting. I'll admit, their chocolate chip cookies are dangerously good--perfectly sweet, chewy, and irresistible. And truthfully, there are mornings when the enticing aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls wins me over, ending my fast a bit prematurely. Worth it? Absolutely. If you're looking for a reliable coffee spot, have a sweet tooth that refuses to be ignored, or just want an inviting place for your weekly gatherings, Rao's Bakery, Coffee, and Cafe is absolutely worth visiting. Now, back to enjoying my coffee--it's exactly the bold kick-start my morning needed.

I had a great experience at this bakery. The service was great, my pecan cinnamon roll was amazing and my cappuccino was perfect. I'm visiting from Philadelphia and wanted to try some local spots. I'll definitely be returning.

Our favorite pie here is Key Lime. It is so delightful! You can order by the slice if you are 't sure. We like to take it to our friends for parties, etc. The Chocolate silk is wonderful too!! We recently got a Cinnamon Mini King Cake. It was very sweet!! Would I buy another one??! Heck yeah! Coffee is good! Love the house blend!

Customer service is great on the phone and in person! However, my birthday cake (Italian cream) was a total disaster.. I ordered a day before to ensure "freshness" like the lady who took my order on the phone advised was best. The cake was extremely hard to cut into and dry.. very disappointing. ):

Honestly an amazing spot. I just discovered this place on accident. I was looking for a quiet place to work before a meeting nearby and I was pleasantly surprised. The workers and the patrons are amazing. Everyone is so calm yet upbeat. The staff greeted me immediately and was so warm and welcoming. Sometimes you can catch one of them singing to herself while she makes coffee. If I didn't live so far away I would come everyday. The beautiful lady with an accent is honestly my favorite person now.

This place is unassuming on the outside but once you step inside it's really nice! Plenty of parking and decent amount of seating. So many pastries to choose from, the tiramisu was really good. I'd return to try more of their selection. I ordered a tea and while it was good, it was EXTREMELY hot and took forever to cool down, so I'd ask for some ice on the side next time maybe lol.

We always come out of there with multiple bags filled with goodies to last us for at least a month till we go again. This weekend, we just wanted to check out this new location. It's quite spacious- there's lots of seating, and the parking lot is spacious. We got the mango ice cream which was delicious, the iced pistachio latte, which was pretty good, (but not my favorite) and the crunchy knafa, which was pretty nice as well. It could have been warmer, so it would have a better cheese pull. The Dubai chocolate was pretty good as well. We definitely will be back to try the turkish delights and our favorite--the spiced roasted nuts. Now that this location is on our side or town, we definitely will be stopping by a lot more often. Looking forward to trying more of their drinks and desserts too!

We stopped by the FM 1960 location, and while it sits in a small, somewhat worn shopping strip, don't let that fool you. The real charm starts the moment you walk through the door. Inside, we were immediately struck by the gold décor and a stunning display of beautifully trimmed serving ware for sale. One wall features a mesmerizing mural of a pair of eyes--perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The shop is packed with sweet treats from around the world. There's even a section with individually wrapped mini chocolates labeled with messages like "Happy Birthday" and "Congratulations," along with prepackaged dessert trays for baby showers and other special occasions. As we explored further, we found a wide selection of nuts and pre-made sweets--honestly, we were surprised by just how many goodies there were to choose from. Now, onto what we tried. The pistachio halva wasn't very sweet; the pistachio flavor was the only thing that really came through. It had a soft, nougat-like texture but felt a bit bland overall. I also ordered the strawberry tres leches--one of my favorite desserts--mainly because I couldn't resist. While the presentation was beautiful (almost too pretty to eat), it lacked the sweetness you'd expect from the condensed milk. The brownie topped with Dubai chocolate also fell short in flavor, missing that rich chocolate sweetness you usually get from a good brownie. As for drinks, we tried the caramel frappuccino and the golden ice cream coffee. The frappuccino was just okay--not particularly rich or memorable. The golden ice cream coffee, though, was a standout. The blend of coffee and ice cream with a drizzle of caramel was absolutely delicious--and the lady named Ro was super sweet and helpful in guiding us through the drink options. Overall, we were impressed by the variety and unique offerings, and we definitely plan to return to try more items--especially the crepes.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. It's easily my favorite coffee shop in the city, and once you visit, I'm sure it'll become yours too.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.

Those that know me know that I can't handle the stress of such a complicated question so I ordered one of each. Now, these things aren't cheap, but don't let that deter you...read on... When I placed my ordered the nice lady at the counter told me that they weren't fully ready and that she needed to step to the back to decorate them. Wowee! Fresh Kind Cake. After a 10 minute or so wait, they both came out. I took them home and busted open the boxes. After a few sinful bites of each one, I felt sick from the sugar -- but I knew what I was in for. I at some more, haha. In the end, I preferred the traditional cake over the cream cheese. As I look back, I remember seeing advertisement for Mardi Gras drinks. One of those lattes sounds amazing. Will have to go back for one. Oh, and sorry for not posting pics of the King Cakes. I meant to. By time I regained control after getting my munch on, I wasn't proud of the way the cakes looked. I will have to go back and order a fresh cake and share a picture on my next visit. Go check this place out if you haven't. Also, if you're a Mardi Gras fan, you have your little corner of Louisiana on Cypresswood and Stuebner Airline. Bon appetite.

This was my 2nd time trying PJ's and neither time did I enjoy my drink…read more Today I went through the drive thru and ordered their new Southern Wedding Cake flavor, frozen with soy milk & whipped cream. Unfortunately I tried it when I drove off. But it tasted like a plain frozen coffee. It was not sweet at all and had no flavor. Im highly concerned if maybe they forgot to add the syrup because I did not taste any vanilla or almond. The whipped cream had more flavor than the drink. I was very disappointed. The cashier was kind so I gave 2 stars for her.
