I have been to Jtea for 8+ years but this was my first time at this location. We went pretty early right when they opened so they didn't have tapioca yet. We got the Cheese Cubes Milk Tea (Tra Sua Pho Mai Tuoi) & Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea. I loved the milk tea, the tea flavor was strong but the cheese sauce made it salty and very creamy. Their jellos are always so good! The sea salt green tea was really good too, the green tea was strong and blended well with the foam on top. The inside was clean and much more spacious than the Bellaire location. Service was great, the lady at the front was very nice and made the drinks fast :) read more

Cute little family owned spot. Not only do they have tea, they also have coffee, and some bites. We opened for the Vietnamese coffee and it is strong! Also very delicious. Remember this is good coffee not fast coffee. Keep that in mind when you order. This place does not offer a drive thru but has a lot of parking. read more

This place really surprised me! Came here with my friends after we moved alot of stuff and wow! Very popular spot for a tuesday night that really gives that vietnam night cafe vibe. There are three tables available outside to enjoy the night breeze. They offer a variety of small vietnamese snacks, milk tea, and viet coffee. Got the brown collection which is a milk tea with sea salt crema, brown sugar boba, chocolate, and milk jello. It tasted absolutely wonderful! Pair this with a banh trang tron (rice paper salad) and I would say, you'll have a great evening catching up with friends. I was surprised to see that a JTea had opened up so close to me and knew I had to go try it. I got the green collection as well as some fried fish balls tossed in fish sauce. The food came out hot and fresh and the drink was refreshing. There are a lot of toppings that come in the green collection so it actually made me very full. Service is quick here and workers are friendly. The space is open and there are a few tables so you can hang out and/or work. It does get pretty warm during the summer. read more

They've recently changed their bigger straws, and now they're giving straws that don't have wrappers. I tried the sea salt jasmine green tea here. The tea itself was a good amount of sweetness at 50% and had a prominent floral taste. The cream on top was rich, creamy, and delightful. What a cute place! The decorations and seating area are super cute, I love the ambiance. Their drink menu is not too large but has some unique items. The shop looks cute but the first thing you notice when entering is that it smells like a sewer (not sure what the issue is, but they should try to address it ASAP, as it is very off-putting). Their smoothies are only available in a very large size (24oz). Asked, if I ordered the smoothie, could I have an extra empty cup to split it between 2 toddlers (since 24oz is far too much for 1 kid) and was told no. So I guess they would rather lose the purchase than provide an empty cup. My milk tea was ok, a bit too floral for my taste, but the sweetness level was good. The peach tea was fine. read more

My husband and daughter ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Jellos and I had the tiramisu milk tea with jellies. I absolutely love J-Tea. Although i'm not too keen on their milk teas their tropical fruit tea is one of my favorite drinks of all time! It's super refreshing in the texas heat and the fruit and jellies are such a treat. This boba shop is very cutely decorated with tons of seating. There's even a cute place for a photo-op! The service has always been very quick and all the boba baristas here are very friendly. Their signature green milk tea with milk jellos was delicious. I got it 50% sugar with less ice and it was the perfect level of sweetness for me. It tastes like authentic Thai green tea, with no artificial aftertaste like some other places. The milk jellies had a slightly chewy texture (not hard agar jello), which I enjoyed! The jellies are vanilla and matcha flavored, which was quite subtle, but nonetheless an enjoyable compliment to the drink. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of their other milk teas. I ordered 2 other milk teas with no ice, and was given 2 half-filled cups! I couldn't believe it. There was noticeably less tea in the cheese milk tea (drink on the R), raising my suspicion that their drink volumes are not standardized. I have ordered no ice at Gong Cha, ShareTea, 7 Leaves, and pretty much every other boba establishment, and was given a cup at least 3/4 or completely filled. My other drink with "less ice" was filled to the brim, so how come "no ice" cut the volume in half? To add to it, the teas did not taste very fresh. The Hokkaido milk tea tasted like artificial caramel, and the cheese milk tea was nothing to write home about. I was also unable to adjust the sweetness on these teas. Summary: Signature green milk tea with jellies is solid. Hard pass on the other drinks. If you ask for no ice, be prepared to spend $5 on a drink that'll last you 5 minutes, if even. read more

This spot was so cute! The aesthetic was very cute and perfect for small gathering with your friends or meeting someone new for a date. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because It did have a somewhat weird odor when I walked in, but it wasn't terrible and I ended up staying with my friend for a few hours talking and drinking our drinks.
