What would really benefit their menu is a descriptor of the amount of caffeine in each drink. I want to consider low/no caffeine options if I get a drink later in the day, but I'm not sure which drinks would be better for that. Very rude employee at the front this afternoon - 4/29. I never got her name, but she appeared to be Hispanic with short hair tied in a ponytail. I politely asked if the bathrooms were supposed to be locked or if they were closed, since both were locked when I tried to use them. She responded with "I guess" in a very dismissive tone and didn't make eye contact, which felt unprofessional. I found it odd that both restrooms were not open to costumers, especially since it was still not even close to closing time. Later, when we received our order, one of the drinks was made in the wrong size. I went back to the front and calmly asked if it could be corrected. Again, she didn't look at me and simply said "oh" before taking the drink without any acknowledgment. I even apologized for the inconvenience, but there was still no response. When the drink was remade, she called out the order and threw the straw onto the counter. Her overall demeanor seemed visibly irritated, which made me feel uncomfortable and confused as a customer. I work in customer service as well, so I understand it can be a stressful job, but there's still a basic level of decency that should be maintained. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very poor first impression of this Gong Cha location. I hope management can address customer service training with staff moving forward. read more

This place was nice. The staff was helpful since it was our first time here and recommended the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I loved it! I did try the original waffle and liked it. I will say I love the atmosphere where you can take photos with a cutout and green grass background. I couldn't help myself lol I will say I love the cart of games to play while you wait is fun. However Boba Bonzana didn't have instructions and even the online videos weren't helpful :(. Other than that it was fun. read more

Our favorites are the dirty brown sugar milk tea with milk foam/boba, green tea with milk foam with boba, and now our new favorite is the black coffee with milk foam and coffee jelly. The service is always quick and friendly. We enjoyed every recommendations that they have for us. Ambiance has sleek design, perfect for friends gathering and studying. I was pleasantly surprised by their straws! It's a paper straw (I think) but acts like plastic - doesn't melt in your drink. STUDY This is a great place to study. The free wifi is stable and doesn't disconnect. The password is located at the front counter. There's outlets with 2 plugs at almost all of the tables. You can push the tables together if you have larger groups. It gets chilly inside, so make sure to bring a jacket. read more

I love this Gong Cha location. My cousins and I used to go out of our way after a family get together at my grandmas house to get Gong Cha in Chinatown and now we can literally walk to it! The drinks are just as good, and the staff is so nice, friendly, and helpful if you have a hard time making a decision on their variety of choices. I attended their grand opening and received BOGO 50 % of their top ten! I had the classic milk tea with boba and my cousin had the matcha milk tea. I would definitely return to try other items. The store is decorated very nice clean and modern as well. This location is just what Jersey Village was missing. I highly recommend to give them a try! read more

You don't remember our interaction, or you may be confusing me with someone completely different, because that's not what happened. I visited on 10/30/22 around 9 PM and I only spoke to the male cashiers. One of them was wearing a shark costume. When I picked up my drinks, none of them said anything to me. Super cute place with tons of options for boba and other drinks. Excited to have a boba place nearby and look forward to trying a bunch of different combos. Today I got the Earl Grey Milk Tea with pearls and we also got the chocolate caramel slush. First sip of my drink felt a little too sweet, for my taste, but when mixed with the pearls it mellowed out. Next time I plan to try the lychee slush. Came here for a school spirit night and the service and items we ordered we so good! The staff is very welcoming and I absolutely love that they give back to the community by hosting spirit nights for the elementary school nearby. What a wonderful community partner!! The owner is super sweet and very present with her staff. I had never been here before and wasn't sure what to order, but her recommendations were on point! The drinks we ordered and the dessert we got for the kids did not disappoint! The milk teas are delicious and the seasonal berry slush that my husband order was amazing.
