Mardi Gras coffee
Carre B.

I went there especially for the Mardi Gras purple mug and coffee with the purple whip. No purple mug no purple whip. I settle for the only green mug they had on the shelf. Nice ambience just needs to tidy up a bit, nice service. Wish the coffee was hotter..

Beignet

The coffee is great I got an cappuccino and a double order of the Beignets and they are fantastic, Service has been great and the ambiance in the dining room is nice and cozy.

Great service, great location, even better coffee! Of course, being a Louisiana-based establishment, I'd expect nothing less. ;) The beignets are a warm & sugary delight that my kids LOVE. I love them too - just can't indulge like I want to since they're so sweet...But, man oh man are they GOOD! Love, LOVE the honey oat milk latte and the iced tea is always fresh - just wished they came in larger sizes. Access is as easy as can be. Its nestled in the Cypresswood Crossing shopping center at the corner of Steubner Airline and Cypresswood drive and even offers a drive-through if you don't want to get out or are in a hurry to get to work! I highly recommend stopping by if you've not already. I doubt you'll leave disappointed.

Gorgeous place to stop in to relax! The color scheme and leather couches did it for me. I wasn't working this time; I just stopped in because the sign read PJ's of New Orleans! I like everything, NOLA! I knew the coffee would be good and roasty with a nutty flavor! I didn't get the beignets or the other many scrumptious pastries calling my name. Only because I had just left the orthodontist, but I will be back in a few days to get my beignets and more. My new favorite place because one the flavor of the coffee is what I like; that taste is hard to find. Two beignets are here, and the selection of pastries is many! Three, the decor is beautiful, relaxing, and pleasing to the eye.

The food was great! I got a decaf vanilla velvet ice with Carmel syrup which is now by new fav. drink. I also got the beignet bites which were very fresh. I think next time I'll try their sandwiches. There are 12 bites but only a few in the picture because I forgot to take a picture at the beginning . The person at the window was also very helpful with answering questions.

Weird interaction with server. I ordered my coffee, one of the new items, and the server insisted on making me try the syrup before he made my drink. He proceed to go on about it being an acquired taste. As this was going on the manager came over to ask the reasoning behind me wanting the syrup. I explained I didn't want to, but I ordered and the young man would not make my coffee unless I did. She apologized and asked him to go make our order.

Small cold brew mocha with sweet cold foam topped with whipped cream

I have gone to this PJ's a few times now, so I can say they consistently provide good customer service and high quality food and beverages. The most recent time I went, I had a turkey sandwich and egg sandwich, which was delicious. It was a good sized portion and it was nice and hot. Perfect for a cold day. I also ordered a cold brew mocha with sweet cold foam. I decided to treat myself even further, so I had it topped with whipped cream. lol needless to say, this was also delicious. The ONLY thing I have any kind of issue with regarding this PJ's is the poor design of the drive thru. If you have a larger vehicle like I do, be very careful when you use their drive thru. It's very oddly shaped and you could easily damage your car just trying to pull up to the window if you're not being mindful and careful.

My sister was ranting and raving about PJ's Coffee. She especially spoke highly of the beignets. Once I told her that I'd never had them before, she said "oh we're going today". The vibe. The decor. The music. All winning. The beignets were hot, flaky, and delicious. She was right. I loved the set up, it was really quaint and welcoming. I'll have to come back and try the coffee next time!

Yummy beignets

We found them!!! After visiting New Orleans, we have not been able to find beignets anywhere in the north Houston area. My daughter and I were volunteering across the street at the museum and saw the sign for PJs New Orleans coffee. And of course we had to go look. And we found them. Beignets. Soo good We had to volunteer two days later and went back inside. Got beignets , a sandwich, and some drinks. And I found an amazing cool mug that fits my hand, super classy, and I love how it stays warm after warming up my tea.

Not very visible but still sticky inside Ate the other one

I had beignets in Louisiana and fell in love, Gave them a try today and for the price I thought it was the same quality but no they were raw inside disappointed!

Bacon, egg and cheese biscuits
Miki K.

Excellent friendly service by the staff. We had the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. It was perfectly balanced with egg, melty cheese and smoky tasting bacon. I can't stress enough how flaky, fluffy and buttery the biscuit was....FABULOUS!! The shop is quaint with a French flair to it. I forgot to mention they serve fresh made beignets! I love this coffee house! Highly recommend coming here instead of Starbucks.

Karen T.

The place is nice inside. There are a lot of tables and couches. I went inside to order rather than the drive-through and I got a latte and mini-beignets. I liked it and I will come back again to try other items on their menu.

We always come out of there with multiple bags filled with goodies to last us for at least a month till we go again. This weekend, we just wanted to check out this new location. It's quite spacious- there's lots of seating, and the parking lot is spacious. We got the mango ice cream which was delicious, the iced pistachio latte, which was pretty good, (but not my favorite) and the crunchy knafa, which was pretty nice as well. It could have been warmer, so it would have a better cheese pull. The Dubai chocolate was pretty good as well. We definitely will be back to try the turkish delights and our favorite--the spiced roasted nuts. Now that this location is on our side or town, we definitely will be stopping by a lot more often. Looking forward to trying more of their drinks and desserts too!

We stopped by the FM 1960 location, and while it sits in a small, somewhat worn shopping strip, don't let that fool you. The real charm starts the moment you walk through the door. Inside, we were immediately struck by the gold décor and a stunning display of beautifully trimmed serving ware for sale. One wall features a mesmerizing mural of a pair of eyes--perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The shop is packed with sweet treats from around the world. There's even a section with individually wrapped mini chocolates labeled with messages like "Happy Birthday" and "Congratulations," along with prepackaged dessert trays for baby showers and other special occasions. As we explored further, we found a wide selection of nuts and pre-made sweets--honestly, we were surprised by just how many goodies there were to choose from. Now, onto what we tried. The pistachio halva wasn't very sweet; the pistachio flavor was the only thing that really came through. It had a soft, nougat-like texture but felt a bit bland overall. I also ordered the strawberry tres leches--one of my favorite desserts--mainly because I couldn't resist. While the presentation was beautiful (almost too pretty to eat), it lacked the sweetness you'd expect from the condensed milk. The brownie topped with Dubai chocolate also fell short in flavor, missing that rich chocolate sweetness you usually get from a good brownie. As for drinks, we tried the caramel frappuccino and the golden ice cream coffee. The frappuccino was just okay--not particularly rich or memorable. The golden ice cream coffee, though, was a standout. The blend of coffee and ice cream with a drizzle of caramel was absolutely delicious--and the lady named Ro was super sweet and helpful in guiding us through the drink options. Overall, we were impressed by the variety and unique offerings, and we definitely plan to return to try more items--especially the crepes.

It really is a "must go." From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.
