I was very disappointed with the quality of donuts we received. It almost appeared like this location was not ready to open. The donuts were not made in house and while they had creative flavors, they were very stale! The drinks were awful. Definitely not worth the time or money read more

I want to thank Rachel & Oswaldo for graciously donating donuts to the officers who are standing guard over the officer we lost this week. I called the donut shop & explained that there are officers guarding the fallen officer 24/7 at hansen's mortuary until his funeral next week. I asked if they'd be willing to donate to the officers & without hesitation they said YES! So my daughter & I picked up donuts this morning & took them to the mortuary & the officers were so appreciative! Thank you Randy's for caring so much about the community! read more

Nothing like the OG South Central LA location back home on Century & Normandie. So disappointed in this new location and I really wanted to love this place! The donut case was almost empty and what was left didn't look anything like what I grew up eating. The staff were somewhat friendly. My son and his girlfriend got two donuts. I didn't buy anything. The kids said the donuts were ok. Two donuts cost over $6.00... don't waste your time. read more

Excellent donut shop! Just went tonight and the staff were amazing, the store was clean, and the donuts (as usual) were amazing. The selection is better earlier in the day of course, but we loved the blueberry iced cake, chocolate buttermilk bar, the cherry cake, the butter crunch, the old fashioned, and a few others. Randy's Donuts needs to improve both its service and the quality of its donuts, which are smaller compared to those I've had at other locations. The drive-thru wait time was excessively long, despite there being no dine-in customers or cars ahead of me, and more than five employees working inside. This situation requires attention. read more

I tried 2 donuts. After 1 bite, the pink icing and sprinkles broke crumbled and fell off, like it was hard and dry. The icing shouldn't be breaking off the donut like that in my opinion lol. The chocolate icing donut held up better, but was still a bit stiff, not a fluffy cloud donut like at Bosa. Flavor was great tho! They should turn on some background music inside, it was too quiet. Also seemed like they had like 10 people working behind the counter but not that busy. Nice they have a drive-through, and we definitely needed a donut shop in this part of town. read more

Came in with my wife on opening day around 1pm. Place was busy, but not too bad. Waited in line for 5 minutes, no issues. The experience started to go a bit downhill from there. The lady behind the counter could hardly hear us when we were trying to place our order. One regular glazed and one chocolate covered donut. She explained "they were out of them". How can you be out of the most basic donuts to be offered? All the donuts present were specialty donuts, which obviously cost way more. I was kinda turned off by that almost as if it was on purpose. When we got home with our two donuts, I was completely underwhelmed. Mine was very hard, like almost stale. I was under the assumption that these guys were some of the best given all the attention and publicity through media and movies. Guess I'll have to stick to my favorite go to Bosa read more

I have never had a donut from or been to Randy's Donuts before. What a BAD First impression‼ Ordered online at 845AM for pickup. Stated order would be ready at 9AM. Arrived at 910PM. NOT READY ‼ Several employees but nobody seemed to be helping anyone. Two people ahead of me walked out obviously tired of waiting to be helped. Asked for help to get or find my pick up order. It took three different employees to finally get helped. Order was not even started. Order still waiting on print out machine. Nice gentleman boxed up my order. Didn't have one of the donuts I ordered. Also ordered jalapeño ham and cheese croissants. Received plain regular croissants. So I was over charged by $4.50. NOT a please first time customer. I guess the donuts were good but very questionable customer service. Greatly needs improvement. read more

I tried to order online... their online portal claimed that Apple fritters and Rasberry filled coul not b ordered online and picked up at the drive thru. So I drive over to order. Service was beyond slow. From the time I got there till I left took me 28 min. There was only two cars in front of me. Really poor service. With 5 cars parked in the lot. Would guess perhaps 2 of those to b employees cars? Anyhow ... was able to order 2 apple fritters and two raspberry filled donuts. Got home, started eating one of the apple fritters and it tasted funny. Had my friend taste it and she agreed, it tasted burnt. On top of that it was super hard and dried out. We threw them both away. The two raspberry filled were ok...a bit on the dry side but certainly not as horrible as the apple fritters were. All in all, not at all with the hype more the 7 mile one way trip to get to them. Would absolutely not recommend them. Have gotten much better donuts from our local grocery store. read more

So when you walk in you grab your tray or to go container and some tongs and then you can meander around a look at the goods before making your selection which you then get yourself. Everything looked so good I was practically drooling! After making my selection of an almond croissant and a coffee cronut I made my way up to the counter. I also ordered a korean iced milk coffee -- no idea what it was but sounded good! I took everything to go and when I got home I jumped right into the croissant -- it was almost as hard a rock! The coffee cream on it was average -- just basically didn't taste as good as it looked. Unfortunately I can never get those calories back, LOL. The Korean iced milk coffee was good but honestly couldn't taste a difference from regular coffee. Overall the presentation was top notch but the actual tasting experience was less than average. Not to mention, plenty of parking in the back, easily accessible and near the entrance. I ordered a brown sugar sage latte with oat milk. I forgot to ask for half sweet, but no need for the special order because the flavor was well balanced and not overly sweet! Well crafted flavors, I'd totally get it again. Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.

And naturally, the drip coffee is described as "damn fine coffee," in honor of Agent Cooper. The local family who owns the shop lives close enough to ride their bicycles there, and their goal was to preserve the neighborhood atmosphere where baristas know their regulars and people gather to chat over coffee. Having experienced the super-friendly staff firsthand, I'd say they're doing a damn fine job. Note: it's a walk-up coffee window with shaded outdoor seating, rather than a traditional indoor cafe. The inside of the shop is also really spacious, which I loved. it makes it a nice place to sit and hang out. That said, the overall quality was good but not amazing, and I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come back. One downside was the parking situation, it's pretty tight out front and the curb is really high. I actually scraped the bottom of my car door when opening it, which was frustrating. Overall, a good place to try, especially for the crème brûlée donut, but just be careful with parking.

It's a croissant-cookie hybrid that hits the sweet spot between flaky and indulgent, with layers that pull apart like a pastry but still deliver that rich, cookie-like bite!
