I love randys , but unfortunately i came to drive to this one in Downey because my daughter wanted her favorites from randys. Stood in a 25 minute drive thru line just to find out the majority of the donuts we wanted were out... ended up leaving with zero and no orange box by my side. The staff is very friendly even with everything currently going on. I enjoy their raised chocolate donuts very much! I've tried their Nutella doughnut too and it was so creamy and delicious. These donuts do not have a greasy after taste nor do they feel greasy when you grab them. That to me is a very good a plus from any donut shop! I know I'm indulging but that is good quality. These donuts are always soft never hard or stale. I've also enjoyed their ham and cheese croissants which are also crispy on the outside light and fluffy. You have the choice to warm them or also get them wrapped to go. Overall great experience every time I visit. read more

Don't come here for the coffee. While I don't like to leave negative reviews, this was just gross. Coffee tasted hours old terrible and when I went to pour it out this was at the bottom along with some more that went down the sink. Creamer? Only high fructose corn syrup non dairy. Review #523 None Elite Squad i Finally went to a Donut shop with a Big Donut on the roof. I'll be honest ..ever since i saw Homer Simpson eat one of those I've stayed away..i dont know, I guess I got traumatized ..anyways..so I went .. I got 6 donuts and paid over $20..something's not right or maybe these are the best Donuts in Town...or is it because it's in Downey? anyways ..whatevers ...I paid ...they didnt give me a Donut that was on Display..they gave me the "Fresh" ones that's on the rack..went home and unveiled..the world famous Randy's Donuts and....and... I hate to say this but I was 100% Disappointed. the Donuts were Dry.. not fresh at all..I went around 6:30am and it didnt live up to the nice new building look. I got a churro one with the hardest piece of churro that I found out it's just for decoration purposes. I dont know...the other 5 weren't great either .. the oil that they were done in wasnt great either...maybe to some it's the greatest but to me they didnt work. i honestly got ripped off..and would love to say I'm gonna try it one more time just incase I went on the wrong day but I'm definitely not doing it for that price ever again..its like each Donut cost $4 each and they're not the greatest Donuts either ... Not sure what happened but I've frequented this location in the past and the location was well cleaned and nicely kept up, but obviously times have changed the outside of this place was filthy and i was so disgusted at the donut case which had a pile up of crumbs everywhere!! Those crumbs probably date back to when this location was first opened. What happened to taking pride in your locations? Not sure what's going on with management but please fix it!! The young lady I dealt with I assume is the store manager (i can tell from her pushy attitude towards the employees) had a disgusting attitude towards me seemed like her only hobby is rolling her eyes. The workers were nice but it is evident that all the manager does is watch this chaos occur in the drive thru especially on a busy weekend. DONUTS BROUGHT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE! I went to Randy's waiting for that awesome donut taste. It was Saturday night and the line was HUGE I was excited. However while in line I saw a driver from like a food service delivery pull up and start dropping off tons of boxes of donuts. At first I thought they might have been from Randy's in Inglewood but the boxes were white not like the Randy's boxes. This driver kept going back and forth bringing donuts from somewhere else. When I mentioned it at the window they said it was from Inglewood but couldn't tell me why the boxes were different from somewhere else. I still bought some donuts but I'm not sure who made these donuts. They were ok and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. I'm not sure I will go back it's a shame. Just saying you may pay for a Randy's donut but you may be getting a donut from somewhere else. read more

Oookay... This review is strictly for the drive- thru process. We have been waiting forever. When we finally got to the order screen the wait made sense. After each item we said the girl asked us to wait while she checked if it was available. One item wasn't available so we switched it with another. Get to the window and the substituted donut wasn't in the bag. I'm sure in time the kinks will be worked out, but it made for a long, rough process. ON TOP OF IT ALL: We just got home and our "Ham and Cheese Croissant" that we paid for is a plain croissant that we pais $3.50 for! read more

I came here for some donuts with my friends because the reviews were phenomenal. Nevertheless, the service was among the worst I have ever experienced. As soon as we entered a young gentleman greeted us very harshly. I understand many people are frustrated due to the COVID pandemic, but that doesn't mean you should let it out on others, especially the customers! We took a minute to look at the donuts and he was NOT patient, AT ALL. It was obvious that we were first time customers and even asked us when we entered, but his demeanor was so rude! I won't come back here again, the donuts weren't that great because they are more of a chewy consistency, almost like it turns back to dough in your mouth. I try not to go out so much due to social distancing but I tried to give this place a chance and I was VERY disappointed. He wasn't even wearing a mask or gloves to handle the donuts, they only had a glass barrier between the customers and the employees. :( read more

I love donut places that are open 24 hours and this franchise serves many donuts that satisfies the sweet tooth. Their donuts are categorized into 4 sections: classic at 1.35, deluxe at 1.60, fancy at 1.85, and premium for 2.95. I am assuming these prices have gone up since the first location has opened because one donut for almost 3 dollars is a little steep. The plain flavors (sugar & glaze) are cheaper and the ones with toppings on top like churros and Oreo pieces are 3 dollars. The menu is helpful because they provide pictures of each donut in color along with some of their breakfast items. The frustrating part about the menu is that they do not put a sign in front of the donuts that are sold out. If they put a sign it would make the line move faster as you can see which ones are available and not. This might not be a big deal but considering the long lines specifically in the drive-thru it slows it so much. We ordered a dozen donuts and half of them were not available and each time we ordered a donut we were either told "sold out" or they had to check in the back if they had anymore. I would have a backup lists of alternative donuts just incase they ran out of your favorites. Be warned that if you visit at night pass 9PM many of their famous flavors are sold out which is unfortunate as they are open 24hrs. and half the menu is not available. The wait time for drive-thru at night is about 30 minutes. It is a lot faster to go inside and order as we saw people leave before us and they came in right at the same time we got in line. If you really want specific flavors I would suggest to order online or by phone that way you will not waste your time in the long lines. The donuts are great - they taste just like the flavors describe. The next day they still taste the same - if you want them fresher I heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds. I have been to other locations and they label the donuts - this one I did not see any labels just go on Yelp to see what kind they are. If you want all the donuts available definitely go in the morning. They are probably made fresher and serve warmer as morning hours are busier. read more

Visited this location around 11:30 p.m. on 3/7 there was no line. I pulled up asked for two regular chocolate donuts and was told by the cashier that he "doesn't know what that is" in a very rude tone. Horrible service. Your job is to be suggestive and not dismissive. I get to the window, no greeting, no thank-you when given my order and no receipt. The young African-American male closes the window and I have to wave to get my receipt. I am handed a receipt that does not even show what I was charged. This employees needs to be properly trained or this location needs to hire people with basic customer service skills because this man didn't have any. First things first my coffee was bitter as can be second half my coffee was going half way down my shirt every time I was taking a sip because the cup was falling apart and the coffee kept dripping out from the sides not the top the actual sides of the cup and the fact that the wait was so long made it worst because I ended up not being able to enjoy it since I had to toss it.
