Usually have one when ai make oatmeal and place it smack-dab center of the bowl and pour the old fashioned Oates right on top and garnish with cut bananas and crushed walnuts. The service is always polite helpful and competent. The place is always a buzz with customers either inside or in the drive thru regardless as to time of day it seems. With seating inside as well as out. It is clean and the offerings are fresh.

Always pass this donut shop on my way to downey landing but decided to stop and grab some donuts. Grab a sugar twist and it was the fluffiest donut I've ever had. I also grabbed a strawberry shortcake and tasted like the Lard Lad Donut from Universal Studios. Very delicious donuts will give it another try. Service was quick and there was room to sit and eat there. read more

The only thing that gives them 3 stars for me is their service. The donuts tasted stale and flavorless, the area around the outside as well as inside could have been a little more clean. Not necessarily clean the entire plaza, but it really bothers me when business can't at least clean up the area outside. But overall, for me nothing about my experience was worth the drive. read more

My go to spot for donuts for many many years, BUT, please hire staff that actually want to serve the customers and abide by health and safety guidelines. Curly hair female handling food items all while hair sloppily hangs over face is not good practice nor a place someone wants to return to. read more

All of the donuts are great but their Ham & Cheese Croissant is the best! Make sure to request your croissant warmed. You will not be disappointed. Their drive thru service is pretty fast considering it is a busy time during the weekdays specially during school hours. If you decide to go inside the store rather than using their drive thru you will notice they keep their outdoor sitting tables pretty clean and the inside as well. I highly recommend anyone to try this place out before considering any other Donut store. read more

The best service. I came in with my two young kids and not only did we enjoy our delicious donuts, but one of the employees (maybe owner?) gave us 2 free mini chocolate donuts AND had my daughter decorate a donut it was such a sweet experience I'll never forget. read more

I love ABC Donuts but the last two times I placed a preorder it was not ready! I mean when I went to pick it up they had forgotten to fill my order! I was late getting to work and then they didn't even have any of the donuts I had ordered. They said they were sorry but then filled my order with random donuts and proceeded to charge me full price!! They never even offered to give me a discount for not having my order ready! The first time it happened I was upset but decided it was probably just an oversight! But now it happened again! If they are going to take preorders they should be sure to fill them! Also they should care about customer service and at least offer a discount when they drop the ball!! I will not be back! read more

Wow just wow! Went this morning to try them because of the reviews and I was impressed. My son got the fruity pebbles and strawberry shortcake donuts and I got the croissant, egg, cheese and ham. I tried a piece of my son's donut and it tasted so dense but airy at the same time. The one thing I noticed is that I did not have stomach issues with these donuts like other places. I always insist it's the quality of oil they use and this place is obviously using good stuff. I didn't feel that film on the roof of my mouth like other places. The croissant sandwich was so big I couldn't finish it but my son sure did, he loved it. Great service , very clean with no flies (which is important to me) and good prices. read more

If you're looking for great Mexican bread and pastries, this is definitely the place. However, on Mother's Day (May 10th), I decided to try their menudo for the first time and purchased 3 orders. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The menudo was extremely bland and seemed to be missing basic seasoning like salt and oregano. Normally, bland food can be fixed at home with a few spices, but the bigger issue was the large amount of grasa (grease/fat) in the caldo. The grease was very dense and excessive. I tried removing as much as possible, but there was still too much. In fact, I had to serve my mother the menudo without the broth because of how greasy it was. My recommendation: stick to the bread -- it's great. As for the menudo, maybe this was just a one-off experience, so others may want to give it a try for themselves. I personally hope they improve the recipe because it's difficult finding a good Sunday morning menudo spot in the Downey area.

I had been to the one in Laguna Niguel and this one in Little Tokyo is more spacious, with an area where you can eat. I bought an oyako pork shumai, curry pan and spicy curry pan. The shumai was like dumpling filling in a bun. My faves were the curry pan, which were super flavorful and vegetarian. The spicy curry one does have a kick (great for my husband), while I prefer the regular curry as I can't handle spice. Wish I had one closer to me!

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.

Searching down the map for the drive back from LA, saw this interesting thing. And great reviews from others sealed the deal to try it out. Online ordering with pick up time was very convenient. Driving down, got a text about 5 min before pick up time, just perfect. Cute and super clean store. Friendly gal grabbed the order for me and I was off in no time. Got the party pack (30) for the school staff, and of course had to try for myself too with a regular (9). Ended up being an hour and a half before I got around to trying our box of 9. Looked interesting enough. Kid took his bite and said yum. I took mine to the sink (lol) to catch any crumbs, but surprised me that it's not just a ball of a regular donut. This had an amazingly satisfying crispy crunchy exterior, with an airy chewy interior! I can't imagine how much better it would be when freshly made at the store! Even an hour and a half later was delicious... Me and the kid quickly devoured our 3 each and struggled to leave 3 for wife before we had to go to an activity. When we returned, wife was also raving, what was that, where did you get it? Trust me, you will not be able to eat just one. I'm greedy, I definitely want more than 3 next time! Donut ball itself wasn't overly sweet, just delicious period. I guess it's the toppings that add the sweetness. Only tried the classic (honey cinnamon, walnut). The other flavors will probably be amazing desserts, but I think all I need is just the donut ball by itself. Honey and walnut adds a bit of sweetness and bite, but the base donut ball is a shining star on it's own in my book! Good thing was the honey was mostly on the bottom and walnut crumbles on top, so you can rub as much or not of those as it fits you. Few days later, each of us were still talking about this greek donut. Just looking for a reason to grab this again. Father's day is coming up, I think it's time for a Party!

Wasn't getting much ube flave from the ube cookie but it was decently buttery and crumbly. The biscoff cheesecake cup tho- creamy, thick, luscious, with plenty of those warm spiced biscoffy flaves. Pure deliciousity. The Dubai brownie was also really good, fudgey, thick, and chocolatey just how I like my brownies and was topped with nutty crunchy pistachio kataifi. i honestly love this donut shop a lot! It is one of the best in Southern California! The donuts are always fresh and they just melt in my mouth every bite I take! My favorites are the chocolate bars, chocolate twist, glaze twists, and the buttermilk bars! They make the donuts right in front of you so you know what's going into the dough and how it is properly made. You just got to try their ice coffee or Thai iced tea! They are simply AMAZING!!! Unlike Norma F.'s comment, the place is very clean and it always maintains an A standing from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health-Enviromental Health Services. i don't know what she's thinking but she's definitely making false accusations at the benefit of another business near by. COVID-ALERT! I came to ABC donuts just like we always do to find that right in the middle of business operations the owners have allowed someone to be painting behind the counter, right where they cook and prepare our donuts, with NO MASK ON! If I could give negative stars at this point I definitely would. Right in the middle of our worst outbreak and they allow workers into their kitchen while they try to serve us food. This establishment should be shut down until they can learn to follow proper protocols. On top of NO MASK, they are remodeling during business hours. UNACCEPTABLE!! read more

ABC Donuts is a must try for anyone craving delicious, fresh donuts! Their donuts are always soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. I'm a big fan of their classic glazed and their cinnamon rolls. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is quick. It's a great spot to grab a treat, as it's always extremely consistent. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and the place has your typical donut shop set up with a few tables if you want to enjoy your coffee and donut there. 5/5 stars! highly recommend. read more

I've never actually ordered any donuts here. I come for the iced coffee. It's amazing! It is a little too sweet though, but the lady always remembers to pour a little hot coffee in mine to dilute it. It gets really crowded between 7 and 7 30 since they're across the street from the high school. They have a drive thru, but you'll have better luck at the counter inside. O and put your car in park if you do use the drive thru or else their annoying motion sensor bell will go off every 2 secs. read more
