The donuts have an original taste that you can tell they are freshly made throughout the day. This is a very mom and pop donut place with authentic donuts. Their donuts do not even compared to named franchised donut stores. They are also open 24hrs we went around 11pm and were surprised to learn they were still open. read more

First time here and I had the #4 sausage, egg, cheese, & turkey croissant. A M A Z I N G. The sausage was delicious and the croissant bread was great. I didn't expect to love a breakfast sandwich so much but I can't stop thinking about it since I've had it! Looking forward to visiting again. I recommend based off this item alone! But I've found it, and no, she's not your mom, she's at Granny's on Paramount Blvd. Two nights ago, I was reminded of that perfection. The maple old fashioned donut at Granny's is unattainable by no other, unmatched by her biggest competitors and unparalleled to no other similar food item. At first bite, you're not only had at hello, but one bite through the soft, inviting, veritable cloud of sweetness is, what I'll call, a smoke screen for Snow White's Apple. Or fruit of the poisonous tree. At first glance, maple frosting is dripping down her sides! At first bite, a slightly hardened outer shell of maple frosting gives way to her frosting's soft interior, where you will notice the taste of brown sugar. If you just sink your teeth a bit further you're rewarded with a treat that truly melts in your mouth, without any waxy aftertaste you normally get from sub par imposters. Ordinary old fashioned donuts have a bready consistency. But, the maple old fashioned at Granny's has more of an actual cake-like consistency (like a MOIST birthday cake). I came across this little place while passing by the area and decided why not get a donut since I haven't had one for the day yet! It's a nice mom and pop donut shop that serves your typical staple of donuts, coffees, croissants, and sandwiches. These mom and pop donut shops are great and always makes me forget about the almighty Krispy Kreme donuts every single time. For once, they actually had a lot of donuts when I came in the afternoon and wasn't busy at all. All of the donuts looked fresh and tasty, but I had to stick with my usual glazed donut and it was delicious. It was light, fluffy, moist, and had just the right amount of sugar coated on top. There were no speciality donuts when I came, so everything was your assortment of chocolate, sprinked, glazed, powdered, you name it and they had it here. Service was quick and there was plenty of parking. Cash only, but donuts are cheap, so have some cash or coins on hand and you're set! Got to the donut shop with 5 people just standing around no line no organization. Order 2 bagels #9 they say ok. Another guy comes orders the same but they ran out so he changed it to turkey. She comes back gives me the wrong order and the guy takes mine. Just got my money back instead. They have no organization here. First and last time i ever go here. Save your money, there's a RUDE middle age man who doesn't care about customer service. Waited a long time to get service, no one would come out, he finally comes out and as I'm ordering my donuts he says "hold up" and walks away.
