This place definitely a five star for sure. I don't know why I never come here for lunch when I work close by. I'm gonna start now. I tried their tuna bagel sandwich and wow it tastes simple but amazing. The bagel tastes fresh and I love that it's toasted. I tried to tell Panera bread to toast my bengal sandwich and they never do. The tuna is perfectly seasoned and not that much mayo like subway makes their tuna. Every time I come to LA I'm on a constant donut quest. We got lunch at a seafood place in Inglewood and there was V's across the street. First donut of the trip and best one out of six tries including some of the famous ones. Great classic cake donut with maple frosting for a good price. Would have gone back if more convenient. Strangest donut shop I've ever encountered. The absolutely nicest owner we've ever met, she was extremely courteous and kind. She frequently checked with us as we ate if everything was to our liking and offered to make any adjustments if we weren't satisfied. Delicious iced coffee, amazing Horchata Frappe, and super fluffy and delicious breakfast croissant. Notable service: the owner noticed we were sitting by the window and thought it'd be nice to roll down the blinds because it was too hot. (It was!) She was super friendly, informed us that she uses only the best quality of ingredients, and honestly you could really tell everything was freshly made. We tried one of the red velvet specialty donuts. Moist, yet perfectly crisp and delicious. I will 100% be coming back here. I gave up on restaurants in the Downey/Norwalk area due to the horrendous service and quality of food. I'm happy to say this quaint establishment has restored my faith. This place is a one-stop for the early riser. I had a hot dog croissant, a regular croissant, a croissant sandwich, a jelly-filled, and a maple bar. The hot dog croissant was a win for sure. Easy to eat in the car and delicious. The croissant sandwich was filling and delicious. Eggs and sausage were cooked perfectly without any grey in the eggs or pink in the sausage. The jelly donut had seeds, but the flavor was there and the maple bar was a flawless treat. The croissant was good after a few seconds in the microwave after a day in my go-bag of being slammed around. A worthy snack for a working professional. Like others posted it was super clean, which means alot to me, the other surrounding businesses should follow this example. This was my first time, so I tried the sugar twist which is how I compare other donut shops to. The sugar twist was hands down way better than any common donut shop which now makes this place my local go to for donuts. The red velvet was sooo good, light and moist without being overly sweet, perfect. The best croissant I have ever eaten was at the Belaggio casino in Las Vegas made by a famous pastry chef, so am still searching for a croissant like that. These were better than average.
