So I saw a review that mentioned the TOO GOOD TO GO App. For another location. I Never heard of this app. So I checked it out. There's several places that offer yesterday's baked goods at a discount on there so they don't t go to waste. I downloaded the app and checked out what's in the area. Then I checked reviews on Yelp. She pulled a donut box and on she went to the back to fill it. She came out and handed me a box filled to the brim. I was worried about getting stale donuts or something. Not at all. I got a box filled with delicious and assorted donuts. From plain to fancy. I got my favorite and Apple fritter and a chocolate buttermilk! What are the odds. Plus all sorts of good. Chocolate, glazed, cinnamon rolls, chocolate and maple bars. OMG!!! Way too much for us. Split it in half and my son took half to his friend's family a couple houses over. My husband is always getting us donuts, croissants along with Thai tea and ice coffee from here. I love the ice coffee from here, I would take it over Starbucks any day. It is just more convenient going through a drive thru. The croissants are tasty along with the donuts, you can taste the freshness in everything. Had to review this place, they've been around since I was a kid and ever since I can remember they've always taken care of business when it comes to my donut needs. Normally I go to Randy's donuts on Rosecrans but I downloaded the 'Too Good To Go' app and have been able to get a dozen donuts for 4 dollars and some change. It's supposed to be day old food but the donuts taste pretty dang fresh to me! You don't get to pick the donuts which is fine, given the deal you're getting but the people working there are very nice and knowledgeable. I don't see this place going anywhere anytime soon, when I came in it was a packed out at 10AM on a Tuesday morning. I was there around 6:15pm last Thursday, 8/8, to get my payout for the MEGA MILLIONS. I had one number + the Mega. I gave my ticket to a lady, who seems to be in her 60's. My husband and I were here on 11/19/2018 around 7:45am. An older short Asian woman helped us. I told my husband "you go first" so he goes "can I have this muffin right here" (as he is pointing to the muffin.) We love the donuts here!! Even this late in the evening they're still fresh tasting, and the coffee never has the burnt taste of other shops have at night.
